Third person's pov:

The three are sitting behind the rock near the edge of the cliff. Before departing, Mundok told them about a Priest that can read the future of Kouka kingdom. He is living in place away from people which is between the borders of Fuuga and Saika. They are looking for him to tell what path should they take.

The two girls are wearing their cloaks with hood. Yona's is caramel and Yoko's is black. The black haired girl still kept her mask on.

"He's secluded from populated areas...so we came here to look, but this doesn't look like a place where people can live in the first place." Yoko commented while polishing her twin daggers.

"Well, if you lived here, you would probably tumble off a cliff right away, but others manage to live somehow." the black haired male informed. "If they're near a river."

The masked girl nodded at Hak's theory, but Yona has a different reaction, "Hey shut up. But in mountains as cold as these...?" she make some sense.

"The northern land that this Fire tribe controls is even more barren." the two turned to Yoko. "Nobody bothers with this place, so it may be surprisingly be a fine place to live." she said then tuck her weapons under her sleeves.

(A/N: Yoko only knows the information from the nine tails and during her travels two years ago.)

Yoko's pov:

"Anyway..." Hak stood up and scanned the surroundings. "Unless we come across something in the vicinity, we'll have to sleep outdoors."

"Outdoors? I'm bit used to it." Yona stated positively.

"It's not like the mountains by the castle. It's freezing here." i told her.

"Then i'll nestle up between you two to sleep." her words made the Raijuu dropped his Quandao that made me burst into laughter and i tried to cover my mouth from it, but failed. He approached towards her then say things which i had no interests to listen, since i know Hak would never do that to Hime-chan. If he did, then i'll throw him off the cliff myself.

I stood up and walked a few meters away from them. I froze as i heard footsteps coming closer to our direction.

"Hey Lovebirds! Stop the naughty things because it looks like soldiers are coming." i called as i turn my gaze back to them. They gave me a "lovebirdss?" look. Hak sensed it too, then had a few teases at the princess which made her totally pissed off, and stood up next to me with Yona-hime behind us. "Are you ready Raijuu?" i asked.

"I did my warm-up." he replied. "Shall we get to work?" we spotted the Fire tribe soldiers are charging towards us. "Don't let go of us...Princess." he remove the cloth on his spear and took a single slash at the guards that caused them to fly away with a wound.

Looks like he did the dramatic entry. More soldiers are coming and in front of them is a person that i really hate, Lord Kan Tae-jun.

"The Thunder Beast Raijuu is in good shape, huh?" said the Lord. "General Son Hak and Princess Yona, as well." i sweat dropped, realizing that he didn't noticed me or didn't recognise the servant that he always yelled at. "I, Kan Tae-jun of the Fire tribe have been waiting for this moment a long time."

We didn't listen to his "speech", instead we sat down at the edge of the cliff while watching the scenery.

"Look like its gonna rain." the Raijuu commented while looking up on the skies, cupping his hands above his eyes to avoid the refection of the sunlight.

"R-r-rain?!" i stuttered in disbelief. "Don't tell me it's one of your tricks again Raijuu?" a bead of nervous sweat appeared on my cheek.

"It really is Yoko." Yona pointed out the black specks from the sky.

D': "Like. Come on!..."

"General Hak shall... WAIT. WAAAAAT?!" Tae-jun's jaws hanged in surprise. "How... How can you be enjoying the scenery while i'm in the middle of talking to you...?!" he protested.

As if.

"Oh, what? You were talking to me?" the Raijuu annoyingly stood up and faced to the lord. "I'm not a General right now, and i'm not called 'Son', either. I'm really terribly sorry."

"Oh no, if you understand then it's okay..." he wipe his tears off his eyes. "Wait..." he paused in realization. "What?! Not a General?!" his jaws hanged again in disbelief.

"That's right! I'm just the wandering traveler, Hak." he complemented. "Anyway, that means no matter what i do from now on the Wind tribe has nothing to do with it. So i'm sorry, second son of General Kan."

"Is that so...? But i don't care the Wind tribe anyway. I'm here to kill you.." he took out his sword and raised it up. "And retrieve the Princess!!"

"Hey, no fair! How come he didn't put me on the line!!" i whined. So much for being infamous and unrecogniseable.

Archers shoot multiple arrows towards us, most of it aimed at the Thunder Beast. Hak shielded the princess while dodging and slicing the arrows with his Hsu Quandao, as for me, i calmly dodged the arrows by one step at the time. "Hmph! No fun!..." i took out my bow and put three arrows on it then shoot at the enemies above right at the heads, all three bodies dead at one shot. I keep doing it to the rest using 3 to 5 more arrows in one shot at each soldiers.

More soldiers charged towards us. "Yoko! Hide Hime-sama." he ordered and inthrusted Yona to me. I noticed that there's an arrow stabbed on his back.

"Hak." i pointed it out and he removed it. He urged us to go.

I picked Yona up in bridal style and ran away. There are soldiers blocking our path that i jump over them with a back flip and gave a *;P*-face at them, i make sure that Yona stays safe on my arms. I landed on my two feet and dashed into the woods. We hide under the bushes and urged her to stay quiet or the guards will find us.

"Yoko... Hak. Is he going to be alright?" i nodded in reply.

"He's the Thunder Beast alright. He can handle those guards by himself." i reassured her then stood up.

I froze as i sensed an another death, not from the Fire tribe soldiers, but from Hak. He's started to grow weaker and weaker. "No. How could the Raijuu die from all those soldiers? Don't tell me that the arrow on his back was...poisoned?!" i thought.

"Yona-hime. Stay here and don't move from this spot." i urged. "I'm going to help Hak."

"Yoko, you can't-" i cut her sentence off.

"You heard about it, haven't you?" i asked and studied her face. From the looks of it she doesn't know my fights back at Fuuga. "Hime-chan... There is a reason why your father made me your servant. I'll be right back." i rushed back to the Raijuu without even look back to my master.

I found Hak struggling to fight the guards at this point, he is growing weaker and weaker. This is bad, even though he's the Thunder Beast, but he's still a human. I pick up a sword from the fallen soldier then help the Raijuu by killing 5 more guards.

"Idiot! You should be hiding with the Princess!!" he yelled while fighting.

"What? You only said is to hide the Princess." i pouted then we seperated from soldiers.

Third person's pov:

More Fire tribe soldiers keep attacking them. "I don't know how much limit will he could handle with this many guards." Yoko thought then concentrate back to the fight. Then her body started to grow uneasy and her wings throbbed in pain.

One of the guards took the advantage and swing his blade at the girl. She dodged, but her mask was sliced into half. Dark aura shrouded on her that caused a sudden changes to the enviroment which send the soldiers shivered in fear and took a few step backwards away from her. The guard who cut her mask was frightened to see Yoko's piercing glares. She gave him a strong kick at the stomach and he crashed on the mountain wall.

"W-what just happened to me?..." the black haired girl shivered then heard two familiar voices at the distance.

She turned her head at the direction and shocked to see Yona talking to Lord Kan Tae-jun. The Princess' eyes are burning like fire. This is the first time Yoko see Yona this serious.

"You idiot...! Why did you come out, too?!" the Raijuu yelled then sliced the nearest guard.

Suddenly he staggered and realized the arrow that hit him is poisoned.

One of the guards took the advantage and gashed him at the chest. The Raijuu stumbled, then fall off the cliff, and immediately grabbed the rear edge with his left hand and the other holding his Quandao.

"Hak!!" Yoko was about to rushed towards him, but her arm was slashed by the soldier that caused to had a huge wound. She fought back, but still in pain, then saw Yona rushed to the Raijuu holding a sword. She is handling it clumsily while weilding it at the guards to make way.

The red haired princess dropped the sword and grabbed Hak's arm. The black dragon froze as she sensed too much mixtures from the two will die or survived from the fall.

Since there are only a few guards left that they won't attack her. She quickly thought a plan before both Yona and Hak will fall. She took out a rope in her bag, then tied it on her waist and the other end is tied on her arrow.

Once both Yona and Hak fell, Tae-jun and his troops were there and the lord was tramautized that he lost the princess.

"Move!" the black haired girl yelled holding her bow and arrow, then jump off the cliff.

The officials are shocked at her actions. "I-is she crazy? She just fell to her doom." said one of the guards.

Yoko's pov:

I could hear the wind beating through my ears. I turn away from the ground below me and shoot the arrow at the wall of the cliff.

"Hak!!" i shouted and grabbed his arm as the branch broke that he grabbed earlier.

The rope began to swing from the wind that caused us to crashed on wall. It knocked the Raijuu unconciously. Atleast he didn't let go of Yona, but he's too heavy and i'm running out of strength.

Snap!

0.0 "Oh, no." i sweat dropped as the rope snapped into two. "Aaaaaaahh!!..." i screamed as we fall down. "I had no choice." i embraced both Yona and Hak and extended my wings, then we glided on the forest trees.

I can't carry them any longer i'm losing my strength.

I dropped them by accident, atleast they fall at the edge of the river. As for me, i landed on the hard surface about a few meters away from them and i heard a loud crack.

Few hours later...

This is not good. I'm losing too much blood.

I breath shallowly. My vision began to lose from unconciousness. I tried to shift my body to move  but it's no use, i'm dying.

Not far from here, i heard someone singing. I coughed that a few blood spattered on the ground. Good thing my wings are gone.

"That smell like...herbs." "A-akira..." i mumbled as two feet are in front of me. I can't distinguish the face of the figure in front of me because my vision is too blurry.

"What a bother. A couple of people are dead." that's all i hear right before i fainted. Something is pulling me away from my spot.
