The Heartbreak part 2
"Were sorry to tell you this but." Thats all I hear them say. I run up to my room sobbing.
Dads gone............ He's never coming back.....
2 days later
Mom takes us to the cemetery where Dad is going to be buried. I can't stop crying. I miss Dad so much. Now it's just me, mom and Zoe. That's all it will ever be. I look out the window as mom drives. Zoe has tears running down her face. We all have 35 streaks of blue in our hair. One streak for each year of Dad's life. We picked blue because Dad loved that color. Zoe made us blue ribbons also. The blue ribbons are pinned on our black clothes. They are pinned where the heart is. Mom pulls into the cemetery and we get out. We all have flowers to place in Dad's coffin. There also blue. Armed guards take us to where Dad's funeral is. There's lots of chairs. There are three in the front where we are taken.
2 weeks later
I sit in the library by myself. I hear someone walk over and I look up. It's a girl about my age. She has blonde hair,
"Hi." She says to me. I just wave to her.
"I'm Cinder whats your name." She asks me.
"Andy." I tell her. My voice horse from crying so much over the past two weeks
"That's a cool name." Cinder says smiling at me.
"Thanks. Cinder really cool also." I tell her.
Cinder smiles at me and I smile back.
The bell rings and I feel someone shaking me slightly. I lift my head up and see Ms.Shelby standing over me. Dustin's there also. The classroom is empty. I don't meet there eyes. I want cry again. I want my dad back. I see all the videos of soldiers surprising there families. I wish I was like the. I wish my dad would do that. But he won't, he can't.
"Andy do you want to go home?" Ms.Shelby asks me concerned.
I just nod. Dustin sits next to me and hugs me. Ms.Shelby calls my Mom. I hear the door open and I look and see Zoe. She comes and sits down next to me. After 10 minuets mom has come to get Zoe and I. I don't know when I will come back. I look at the school as Mom, Zoe and walk out
