"Tyler, keep your hands steady when holding the shotgun axe," Mike said to his younger brother Tyler as he trained him.

Mike Ross was a brave and ferocious soldier. He was 10 years older than his brother, Tyler Ross. They both loved each other and it was said that their parents died when Tyler was only 2 years old. They two  lived alone in the house. Mike worked as the newspaper delivery man to earn some money and pay for the schooling .

Mike had had a keen interest in joining the army. Once he got old enough to participate in the trials for the army, he participated and acquired the top rank, then got admitted to the army. He had a steady, muscular body, which an ideal soldier must have. He was described as a stalwart man with bright and smiling black eyes. He quickly gained the ranks and became the right hand of General Erwin.

When the province Suma attacked Bearsk, Mike fought so brilliantly that it seemed he defeated the whole army single handedly. He was also awarded the glove of honour for the performance in war.

He trained his brother Tyler so that he, too, could join the army. Tyler never wanted to join the army, but Mike insisted that he should join. Mike trained his brother so vigorously that sometimes he forgot they were even related. Tyler started getting better day by day.
One day, Mike was given a task to spy on the Suma's province and then make an attack strategy for it. Before going, he told Tyler when he would come back and that then he would enrol Tyler for the trials for the army. Mike also said to him, "Do not do anything stupid when I am gone."

"How can I? You are taking all the stupid with you," Tyler replied. They both laughed and then Tyler said goodbye to Mike.

Fourteen days went by and there was no word from Mike. Everyone was worried about him, but Tyler wasn't concerned. He was confident that his brother would return as he promised and enrol Tyler into the trials for the army.
Later that day, a letter with a big box was sent to General Erwin. It was from Suma. It stated:
Dear General Erwin,
This was your third attempt to attack our base which also failed this time. The cover was blown of your soldier and we killed him on the spot. Sending his corpse to you. Don't ever try that again.

General Steve

When Erwin opened the box, it was the dead body of Mike. Everyone was shocked to see one of the greatest soldiers of Bearsk was lying dead in front of them. It was unbelievable. When Tyler got the news, he was devastated. His face went expressionless and at the same time he felt angry and revengeful. He looked directly into the eyes of his dead brother and swore to kill every last soldier of Suma. A new Tyler was born on that day—one who only knew to take revenge for his brother.

Days passed by and Tyler got through the trials like his brother, soon gaining the top rank and joining the army. His friends John and Stuart also got through at the same trials. Tyler was ready to attack Suma on the first day, but General Erwin wouldn't let him. He said, "When the day comes, you will be told to attack. You're new to here so I want to see your performance and then allow you. We can't lose another great soldier."
After a year, Tyler was asked to attack Suma. He accepted it gracefully and in his mind told himself that he would not let go his brother's sacrifice in vain and will end the reign of Suma.
