Traving to Hell

"Oh God, I swear if I go somewhere else again in my dreams, I will make myself too tired to go anywhere. Atreus?" She asked.

He wasn't there, so she went to look for him, and he was hitting a wall in the Midgard village outside the wall. He was focused, and she looked him over like he was her next meal. She was about to scare him when a boy touched her, making her quickly turn and punch him in the face.

"I am so sorry!" She said as he held his jaw in pain and shock.

"Hilda? What are you doing here?" Atreus asked as he saw Skjolder on the ground.

"Did you punch him in the face?" Atreus asked.

"He scared me. I didn't mean it!" She explained.

"Skjolder, this is my girlfriend Hilda; Hilda, Skjolder, he is from Midgard," Atreus said as they both helped him up.

"Sorry about that; you have a girlfriend? She's hot," he said as Hilda was about to punch him in the face.

"Hilda, it's a compliment. Just take it and don't punch him," Atreus informed.

"What are you two doing here?" He asked.

"Building focus, something my father taught me," he informed.

"Does it work?" Skjolder asked.

"Not yet," Atreus informed.

"Well, I can see why you are distracted; I would be very distracted if she were around me," he said as Hilda went to punch him, but Atreus quickly put her in a headlock, shocking Skjolder.

"Hilda, calm yourself!" Atreus said.

"Let me punch him again! This time, I will do it three times harder!" She growled.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked.

"She doesn't like it when people flirt with her," Atreus said.

"I'm sorry. I was trying to be nice," he said as Hilda tried to break free from him.

"Hilda, calm down, please," Atreus said.

"Fine," she said as she stopped fighting him.

"Thank you," he said as he let her go.

"Put me in a headlock again, and you better be," she paused as she looked him up and down.

"Stop!" He said, shocked as he got away from her.

"Well, what else am I supposed to do? If I can't fight him, I got to do something else then," she said as Skjolder looked at them, both confused.

"So, what exactly were you focusing on?"
Skjolder asked.

"My emotions, Heimdall keeps on trying to make me lose my cool, and I know now that since Hilda is here, it will get worse. No one likes her, and I don't understand why. Well, I do, but simultaneously, it's complicated," he said as Hilda sighed.

"Look, I don't care, Atreus. They can hate me all they want to. I just exist here," Hilda said.

"But I do. You even being here isn't your fault. I'm just tired of it," he sighed.

"You do know I don't care about those people that don't like me. Their option to me doesn't matter to me. Yours, Kratos, Sindri, Brok, Fraya, you matter; everyone else can go suck a cock," Hilda said as Atreus looked at her, a bit shocked.

"Sorry, I have been around Brok way too long. I mean, they can go away or whatever," she smiled.

"Well, either way, I can't give in to it," he said as he was about to hit the wall again, but Skjolder heard a noise and saw Thrúd approaching them.

"Guys, be cool Thrúd is coming!" He said as Atreus hit the wall again.

"Training without me?" Thrúd asked as Hilda smiled.

"He is; I just woke up," Hilda informed.

"Yeah, I have noticed you don't sleep often," she smiled.

"That's a great idea, training, but won't your mom be mad if she finds out?" Skjolder asked.

"Right, you want to be a Valkyrie; I know you would be great at it. That spar yesterday was good. Sorry I couldn't use my full strength. My powers are still not under control, and I don't want to hurt you," Hilda said.

"Hey, that's fine. I get it; I mean, you did have that seal on your powers for a long time. You did put up a good fight, though," Thrúd informed.

"Thank you," Hilda said.

"Also, I didn't consider it, but did you consider this?" Thrúd asked as she punched him in the arm.

"Oh no, I didn't. Also, that didn't hurt," he said, laughing nervously.

"Anyway, Grandfather wants to see you both," Hilda informed with a smile.

"Okay, um, here, take this. Give my regards to lady Sif. Hilda, Atreus, Thrúd," he said as he handed her a jar and left.

"Midgard boys are so weird," Thrúd said once he left.

"You should hang out with the dwarf boys. The number of bar fights I got into with them," Hilda said.

"Weird can be a good thing," Atreus said.

"You two are weird," Thrúd said.

"Oh, he is, but he's a keeper for sure," Hilda said as ravens started to circle them.

"Hilda, you have to stop looking at me like that," he said, embarrassed.

"Like what?" Hilda asked.

"Like I'm a piece of meat, it's embarrassing," he informed.

"Yeah, but you're cute, very hard to resist, God of bad flirting," she said, making him smile and turn red.

"I don't understand your relationship, but good for you guys, I guess," Thrúd informed.

"So what's in the jar?" Atreus asked.

"Milk curd, mom's favorite. It's his way of helping," Thrúd said, "grandfather is in his study. Catch up with you two later."

"Let's get going good-looking," Hilda said as Atreus grabbed her arm and pulled her to him.

"He can wait a minute," he said as he kissed her and pinned her against the wall.

"You know, next time someone flirts with you, you can't punch them. I know it's hard, but pretend they are your enemy and trying to get into your head, okay?" He asked.

"Fine, but if you put me in a headlock again. You better be pinning me down in a bed. Honestly, that was hot," she smirked.

"You are weird. Okay, now we can go," he smiled.

"Looks like Thor and Sif are gone," Hilda said, seeing their door wide open.

"Hope that's a good thing," Atreus said, knowing how rocky their relationship was.

They passed Thrúds room, but Atreus held back hearing voices, making Hilda wait for him. Once the voices stopped, he came back to her and sighed weakly.

"Her mother doesn't want her to live her dream as a Valkyrie," Atreus sighed.

"Her brothers are dead because Odin sent them to die. I get it. She wants to protect her. I know you don't want to, but maybe we should go home once we get all the mask pieces together. You really should make up with your father," Hilda said.

"Maybe, but not right now. I mean, we are close. I know my father definitely won't like us dating," he sighed.

"It will be alright, trust me. I know he misses you. Us dating will be the last thing he will worry about," Hilda informed as they went into the study to find out that Odin was in the library.

They went to the library, and they could hear Thor and Odin talking. Hilda felt horrible, but she was hoping Thor was trying to get them sent away to protect them or at least her. Thor seemed nice, and if he wanted to, she would already have been dead and not have suggested not to use her powers.

"I suggest you don't talk to my brother that way. He isn't stupid as you make him out to be," Hilda informed as Odin huffed.

"You haven't been around him long enough to know," he informed.

"So this is where you killed the first giant," Atreus said, cutting in to save Hilda from starting a fight.

"Tell me, can you stop a landslide? Smother a storm, I know it may seem cruel, but I saw an opportunity to create something better. To protect my own," he informed.

"Why build your house here? If I'm going to trust you-" he paused.

"Shh... I'm trying to explain," Odin said, making Hilda uneasy.

"In the wake of his death, I saw something, this rift. Possibly the birthplace of reality, I looked inside, and something looked back at me. It whispered to me things I couldn't comprehend. But I knew they were true. When it blinded me, I never thought I would see it again, but then I found it! That piece of the mask and I knew it would let me see the answers. You see, son, I don't know where I go when I go; there is no Valhalla for me; Ragnarok can't be the end. I need to know what else is out there. I just want answers, and that's the truth. I swear in my last good eye," he said as Hilda was unconvinced, and Hilda hoped Atreus didn't either.

"I know who can help you too," Odin informed as Thrúd came to them.

"At least Odin isn't coming; he's as corrupt as those spirits I have fought," Hilda muttered.

"Oh, and Heimdall will be joining you too," he informed.

"What a wonderful surprise," he said as he tried to touch Hilda, but Atreus moved her so he wouldn't.

"Don't touch her; she doesn't like getting touched by guys she doesn't know yet. I don't want you to get punched accidentally, but her," Atreus informed, trying to make it seem like he was trying to be helpful.

"Hilda hit me; that's rich," he said. Atreus shrugged.

They were about to go when Odin stopped them.

"You don't want to walk in the cold, do you, here," he said as he said a spell to help them stay warm; now they were ready to go.

They headed to Helheim, and Heimdall took this as an opportunity to make Hilda mad.

"So you must be Loki's little whore; honestly, I'm not impressed," he said.

"My girlfriend is not a whore!" Atreus said as Hilda held him back.

"Can we just get the mask and leave?" Thrúd asked.

"The only reason you aren't impressed is that you don't have one of your own. Must be lonely being all-knowing but dickless," she informed.

"You are the reason why your mother is dead. She couldn't stay away from all father," he said smugly.

"Neither can you; if I didn't know better, the reason why you have no whores is that you are into men. Thor, your type, or Odin?" She asked, not being fazed at all by him.

"You little bitch!" He growled.

"Yeah, I get that a lot. I take it as a compliment. Are you sure you are a guy? I mean, it's tough to tell. I have met women that sounded and looked like men. You kind of fit the bill. Oh my gosh, is that why you are trying to make Atreus fight you? You are trying to prove you are a man by fighting a kid. Wow, so manly right there. I bet the only thing you fight is flowers. You probably should practice on them; they are more your size and strength anyway," Hilda informed as Heimdall was getting pissed off.

"How dare you insult me!" He yelled.

"How dare you insult yourself? I mean, that haircut looks horrible on you," Hilda said as Atreus and Thrúd looked at each other terrified.

"Once your usefulness is done, I will kill you," he said.

"Cool, getting killed by a hairless baby sounds pretty nice; why don't you find a whore fuck said whore, and be happy because you are super grumpy. Wait, are you even old enough for a girlfriend?  Do you hear that?" Hilda asked.

"No," Heimdall informed.

"Oh, I thought I heard your ego and your self-esteem breaking. Whoops, my mistake," Hilda informed.

"Well, since we are here, I have more pressing matters; I hope you die," he said.

"You mean pressing what little dick you have into a fruit or something, buddy? Figures hopefully that fruit does you some good!" Hilda said as he disappeared.

Hilda looked at both of them, and they were beyond shocked.

"You almost got killed!" Thrúd informed.

"That was awesome! I got the coolest girlfriend ever!" Atreus smiled.

"Brok rubbed off on me a lot also those bar fights did, shall we?" Hilda asked.
