Hilda was really tired but once they made it to the cars it was worth it until she saw how broken it was. Hilda looked sadly at the mess that was on the tracks. Even though she wasn't a real dwarf it hurt to see there hard work get messed up like this. Hilda started picking stuff up as well as Kratos To clear the way for the train.

"You know maybe we can fix this place later, I do know a couple of great dwarfs that are great at fixing things and a really nice girl that is learning to be a dwarf," he said as she smiled.

"Nice? I'm nice?" She asked as she cleared the last bit of wood off the track.

"Yes? Please don't throw your axe at me," he said as she smiled a bit.

"I might have to," she said.

"Atreus get on top of the train to help me gide it," Kratos informed as Hilda had a better idea.

"Here I will pick up the back end and you line up with the tracks. Moving the whole thing might be better since I can make sure this thing still works. This place is trashed," Hilda pointed out as Kratos picked up the front and Hilda picked up the back. Atreus got on top and helped Kratos guide it and they put the train down. Hilda had to take a minute to catch her breath and then she shock it off.

"I am very impressed Hilda!" Mimir informed as she smiled.

"I am a giant not just human but if I didn't use all my magic I wouldn't be as tired," she sighed as they looked at it.

"Wow this one is small," Atreus said as he looked it over.

"So are you Atreus get over it. It's met for dwarfs not normal Midgard and God people," she said.

"I am not small I am bigger then you are," he informed.

"I don't think so and in any case I am definitely way more beautiful then you are and stronger Mr. I am growing a beard," Hilda said making Mimir laugh.

"Well I am definitely more handsome then you are, girls can't be beautiful and handsome," he said as Hilda looked underneath the train.

"Actually if you want to get technical beautiful is the same word as handsome it's just for a different gender. Handsome is just trying to make beautiful sound more masculine," she said as got up and went into the train.

"Really?" Atreus asked.

"We need to get going," Kratos said as hilda was going to stand again while the other two sat down.

"What did that creature give you?" Kratos asked as he pulled out the stone.

"Some sort of stone covered in alge maybe Sindri will know what it is when we clean it off," Atreus said as he tossed the stone over to him and he put it in his pocket.

"He should he knows a lot about stones," Hilda pointed out.

"So we are getting Týr out of his prison because we don't trust Odin right? What if war-" he paused as a Dreki came out of no where and started attacking them.

"When Odin wants to make things as difficult as possible!" She growled as Hilda was grabbed by one but she quickly slit its throat and kicked it out of the train.

"We are going to fast!" Atreus yelled more started attacking the train. Atreus tried to stop it but it was stuck.

Hilda quickly took out her sword as Kratos was punching away and trying to keep them off the train.

"You know Hilda this sword is really strong and I made it just for you!" Sindri said.

"I thought you made it for that Atreus kid," she said as he smiled her.

"Now why would I give a sword to an archer? Happy twelfth birthday Hilda," he said as Hilda looked at the sword and smiled.

Her hands started to glow and so did her markings as she took the sword and stabbed it threw the bottom of the train and it hit the ground. Atreus had to let go of the break to shot off an arrow then quickly went to the break again only to see a monster come in and go after Hilda.

"Hilda look out!" He yelled as she looked up and punched it right in the face.

As soon as she pulled back her arm to punch the monster a spark of electricity turned into a thin lighting bolt that traveled quickly to her hand making her punch strong enough to send the monster flying out of the cart. Atreus broke the bream and Hilda looked back to see the pure fear in his eyes an then a small hint of confusion. Her sword snapped in half making the train cart go flying and making it turn to its side; making Hilda fall on to her wide roughly.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Atreus yelled as the cart slid and crashed into something making Hilda slide and hit both Kratos and Atreus.

"I can see why I never travel with men," Hilda said as Kratos quickly punched some wood away from the window.

"Get up," Kratos said as hilda got up and helped Atreus up.

A massive troll grabbed Kratos and Kratos took out his axe quickly.

"Father!" Atreus yelled as he quickly killed it.

She helped Atreus get out then they both helped Hilda out.

"I can't belive we survived- are you serious?!" Atreus screamed as he started to kill enimes with Hilda by his side.

"On your left!" Atreus yelled

"Your right! Hilda yelled as they both took shots to cover each other's backs.

"There some down below us cover me?!" She asked as he nodded.

"Go!" Atreus yelled as he covered Hilda as she quickly put her bow away and got her axes out and started cutting them down with Kratos.

"That was crazy!" Atreus said once all the monsters were killed.

"You are telling me little brother," Mimir informed as Hilda was on her knees in pain.

Hilda had to lay down for a second and focus on healing her body some at least. Her body started healing a little bit but her body was screaming at her that she was to tired to go on. She focused on healing instead of the pain and after a moment Kratos offered her a hand up.

"Thank you," she said seeing her face was almost as white as snow now.

"I thought you shouldn't be using magic anymore because you used so much," Kratos said.

"I heard Sindri in my head, every time I'm afraid his voice helps me calm down enough to think of something. What I did could have killed us I'm sorry," Hilda said, "I made the wrong call."

"I don't think you did we were going way to fast Hilda your quick thinking may have saved our lives," Mimir informed as she looked at her broken sword.

"I hope so," she said as they killed some more monsters and cleared a path. They went inside having to crouch down a little to move threw it.

"Quite the mouth you had on the train," Mimir brought up.

"It's just a word I heard worse from Brok and Hilda," he said.

"The word doesn't matter you lost control," Kratos said.

"We were falling from the air I thought we were going to die," he explained.

"Is that really what you want your last word to be?" He asked.

"No," Atreus sighed as he looked back at Hilda.

He saw her eyes glow for a second. It was strange and she even punched a monster so hard it went flying. She never done that before and now she looked really sick. He felt guilty that they weren't home yet and she was struggling to keep up because she was part human. She wasn't a God like they were but she was still trying her best to do what she could.

"In a moment of fear don't let it rule you let it serve you," Kratos said as they finally made it to the pit mines.

"I can't wait to tell Sindri all about this," Hilda said as she smiled.

"I don't think there is a way back besides forward now," Atreus pointed out making Hilda roll her eyes.

"I'm fine, let's just hurry up before I drop dead," she said as they went to find a way down.

"Wait Atreus let me see your grappling hook," she said as he gave it her and she untied the note and tied a better one.

"How did it get loose?" Atreus asked.

"It wasn't lose the note was wrong for it, you tied a not simpler to what I use for fishing. This nit is better for climbing. When we get back I will replace your rope and maybe show you some other stuff that might be helpful," she said as she gave it back to him.

"Like how to some how get super strength?" He asked.

"I'm not that strong I just accidentally punched that thing hard," she explained.

"Wait Hilda are those tracks?" Atreus asked as he saw sme imprints and things that were recently disturbed.

"Yeah those are, I can't really make them out but if we fallow them I bet we can go into the mine. We just got to move this cargo," Hilda informed as Atreus sighed.

"Why would they leave it all here?" Atreus asked.

"Well I guess our distraction worked or this place has been abandoned and someone or something else took over to make sure Týr didn't get free," Hilda informed.

After moving it they needed to get across another obstacle how ever since Kratos was to heavy the likelihood of the broken brige giving way was high. So Kratos helped Atreus up on it then Hilda.

"I can see the entrance to the mine, if you can make it over here I'll need your help lifting the door!" Atreus said as Hilda fallowed him and smacked him on the back of his head.

"Ow!" He said.

"If?" Kratos asked.

"Come on just jump over here I know you can do it! It's easy!" Atreus said.

"Atreus!" He said making Hilda look at him.

"You know he is a God and he will teach you a lesson one of these days," Hilda said as he looked at her.

"I'm just messing with him live a little," Atreus said.

"I can see why Sindri wanted me to stay away from you. You are just a kid," she said.

"I'm a man actually," he corrected.

"Sure you are I bet your balls haven't dropped yet," she said making him look at her shocked.

"I will have you know they have! Can we please change the subject," he said as she was trying not laugh.

"Talking about your body to another person makes you uncomfortable?" She asked as he turned red.

"So what if it does? I just- I just don't like talking about it to a girl alright," he explained.

"For a confident guy you are sure shy," she said as he looked at her annoyed.

"You don't talk about yours," he said as she chuckled.

"Well when it's my time of the month I'll tell you if your interested," she said as he looked at her confused.

"Time of the month? What is that suppose to mean?" He questioned.

Hilda starred laughing as his father got across. Her laughter turned silent as she was trying to contain herself but she couldn't stop laughing.

"What? Do you turn into something?" He asked making her laugh harder.

"Please tell me you are joking," she laughed as he looked at her as if she was crazy.

"Oh my gosh you have no idea, none at all. Wow this explains a lot," she informed as he looked at her even more confused.

"Girls are weird," he said as she was trying not to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Mimir asked.

"Atreus says he's a man but doesn't know one thing about a woman," she said.

"I know a lot of stuff," he said.

"Yeah right, we will go with I'm a man answer," she laughed as they continued to head to the entrance.

Hilda was further up a head so maybe he could learn a thing or two about women from his dad also what the other thing was that Sindri was talking about.

"Father what was Sindri talking about earlier. The other thing I would do to do with Hilda," Atreus asked.

"Later," he informed.

"Okay," he said as Hilda was looking around.

Her blond hair blew around in the wind and had dry blood in it also on her face and cloths but some how she looked pretty and once again he was starting to feel weird and he didn't like it since this feeling made him rather nervous. He never felt this feeling before and now he was feeling it a lot when she was around him. Maybe Sindri was right and he shouldn't have went to find Hilda. Kratos moved a wagon filled with things out of the way and saw the entrance to the cave.

"Looks like we are going in," Atreus said as Hilda stopped and opened her bag she had.

"Wait I got some lights here. I have seven lights here so here you go Kratos and Atreus," Hilda said as she passed them some lights.

"Thanks Hilda," Atreus said as she tied a rope around her waist that was attached to a grappling hook.

"That isn't really smart hilda, what if something grabbed the rope?" Atreus asked.

"Then I cut it, you never know what's going rk happen," she said as they went into the cave.

"This is it!" Atreus said happly as they went in and more wreches came and attacked.

"Where are all of these coming from?" Atreus asked.

"A nest, there can be hundredsin a single nest," Hilda informed.

Kratos destroyed a small pile of rocks and they decided to go threw it.

"This smells like a mine," Mimir informed.

"I think I hear water to," Atreus said as Hilda smiled a bit.

"Be cautious and ready," Kratos said.

"Yeah wretches, really like caves," Hilda said as they got out.

"There's more of them!" Atreus yelled as they quickly got swormed by them.

"Quick distroy the nest and they will scatter!" Hilda yelled as Atreus and Hilda quickly started killing them off.

"Stay close, they're to many they will over whelm you!" Kratos yell as they slowly started to get separated from each other.

Kratos quickly destroyed the nest and they all started scatter in a hurry.

"The smell these things leave behind is so gross," Atreus informed as Hilda laughed.

"Small price to pay for disturbing them don't you think?" She asked as she saw something shiny flicker further down the mine then it stated bouncing around.

"Lady?" Hilda asked as the shiny object started to head straight to her.

"Lady no! Slow down! You are going to fast!" Hilda yelled as lady screeched happly and started running as fast as she could to get to Hilda.

"Lady slow!" Hilda yelled as as lady jumped in the air and knocked her flat on her back making her slide a good ten feet before stopping.

Lady was the biggest wretch Atreus had ever seen in his life. She was as big as Hilda if not bigger but white and rather happy. She started licking Hilda all over her face and nuzzling her happly.

"Yes I missed you to, please stop you will drown me with your drool!" She laughed as Atreus didn't know what to think of this weird thing.

It didn't acti like how it was supposed to and didn't even look like a wretch really.
Lady got off of her and started bouncing around and making almost like a barking sound as it did so.

"You really know how to greet someone you like," she said as Atreus tried to help her up but lady quickly covered her with her body and started screaming at him angerily making him back off quickly.

"Lady! No bad girl! They are friends of mine no bites!" She yelled as lady quickly tried attacking Atreus but Hilda quickly tackled her and pinned her to the ground as she tried frantically to attack the intruders.

"She is one hell of a guard dog," Mimir informed as lady tried to get free.

"No lady! Lady calm down its okay. It's okay we are all friends here. Yeah see all friends no one wants to hurt anyone here okay? Yeah you are a good happy girl aren't you? Yeah, who is my good girl!" Hilda asked as she starched Lady's side and her foot started going up and down quickly.

"She is a really good guard dog," Atreus said as Hilda let her go.

"Sorry about that she really doesn't like strangers going near me like I send she imprinted on me so she thinks she has to protect me," Hilda explained as lady sat happily by her side.

"Hi lady," Atreus said softly as he tried to go near her.

Lady started screaming again but this Hilda couldn't stop her in time making Hilda panic. Lady quickly knocked Atreus down hard and quickly got a wretch they had missed killing. Lady grabbed it and shook it had snapping its neck then ripped off its head clean off. Lady hissed as a larger monster came into view making lady more and more aggressive.

"You weren't trying to hurt them you were trying to protect them," Hilda said as they all three quickly took down the monster.

"We should keep her around!" Mimir said as Hilda smiled.

"Yeah she is amazing.." Hilda said as she saw white rocks in a dark corner.

"What are those?" Atreus asked as Hilda looked at them carefully.

"You laid eggs?! You laid eggs! Atreus she laid eggs!" Hilda said happily almost shaking him with happiness.

"And?" Atreus asked.

"Last time she laid eggs they didn't make it she only had three the first time but none of them ever hatched and now she has two, four, six, eight, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen! Maybe some of them will hatch this time," Hilda said as lady was eatting a dead wretch.

"Wow that is actually exciting, but wait they might not turn out like her Hilda they might become violent towards you," Atreus said as she shrugged.

"Well I won't be raising them so I would expect nothing less. I guess this means no more adventures for you until they hatch Lady," Hilda said sadly as lady gave her a piece of her kill.

"No lady you killed it, it's yours I'm sure going to miss you. I'm glad you are okay though. I'll drop by once in a while I promise," Hilda said as lady screeched at her.

"We need to keep going," Kratos said as she nodded.

"Yeah we do. Bye lady be good okay," she said as she patted her on her head and started to head off ahead.

"Bye Lady," Atreus said as lady went to her eggs.

Hilda loved lady a lot but it was hard seeing her starting a family of her own. Hilda had the dwarfs but it's not like she was good enough for anyone also now she was sick maybe even dying so she was never going to make a family of her own. Not that it was her dream to be a house wife but maybe something else? But she gave that idea up a while ago because she was just not wife material. Who would want to marry a girl like her anyway? A girl that couldn't really rust anyone, a girl that seen stuff that shouldn't have even happened, or couldn't sleep in a bed because her nightmares would get so bad she would literally break down doors to get out of the dream she was in.

Not any guy she knew plus she would rather be by herself just incase something did happen to her. She didn't want anyone to live threw watching her getting murdered like how she witnessed her mother getting murdered.

"Hilda are you alright?" Atreus asked softly seeing her in a sour mood.

"Yeah, just really drained," she informed as she looked at Atreus and she could tell that he didn't belive her.

"Okay, hopefully we can go home soon and get some rest. Sindri and Brok are probably missing you a lot," Atreus informed.

"Probably but they did say I could tag along," she said as they came across another boat.

"I'm starting to really hate boats," Atreus informed.

"Better then swimming," Hilda smiled.

"I never learned how to, the lakes froze over before I could be taught," Atreus said.

"Okay that's another thing I can teach you, good to know," Hilda said as Kratos caught up with them.
