Irene's POV.

Three years later

"Open your eyes now," excited smile dances on my face I take off my hands off Reese's face.

"When did you manage to do all this?!" Reese asks me with a huge grin in surprise while looking around the room which is now turned into a gallery holding all the amazing pictures Reese took. Not all, the ones he loves the most which also included our pictures.

"Well, I had to keep myself busy while you were away for three days," I tell him as he turns around to face me. We finally had enough savings to buy a house with a help of a loan, big enough for us to have a guest room every time Ty or Ray come home and also have a gallery for Reese who always deserved one. And the best part is it's about twenty minutes away from the busy part of L.A so there is peace when we're home.

He tugs me close to him with his arms around my waist, "Happy anniversary, cupcake," he leans down capturing my lips with his. Three years, of happiness and love I never thought I'd have. Every day, we came back home to each other, and Reese made sure to keep his promise of waking up next to me almost every morning unless when he had to travel for work. And we sure did fight almost every other day but it only made our relationship stronger.

His hands start traveling under my shirt, "Wouldn't want to stain this room by making love here honey,"

I stop his hands while biting my lip trying not to laugh at his expression which quickly changes into a mischievous smile, "What do you have on mind, Reese?"

"Oh nothing, just planning to take you right here cupcake and it's our house so well I wouldn't mind taking you in every corner of it," a giggle escapes my lips as he starts undressing me despite my protests.

"Reese!" I squeal as he spanks my butt, "What?" he murmurs against my skin sending shivers down my spine as his kisses travel down the valley of my breasts as he lays us down on the carpet.

"I have no fucking clue how I managed to have you in my life, love but every second with you makes me love you more and I never thought I could love you more but you make it happen," his face is back to mine as his fingers wipe away the tears.

"I don't think I can even find words to express how you make me feel," my voice is barely a whisper before I pull him into a kiss. His hands travel up my arms holding them up before I feel something cold hit my finger.

"Reese, you did not," I narrow my eyes at him with my heart pounding against his while he grins bringing my hand to his lips kissing my ring finger which now has a gold ring with a beautiful design on it.

"I wasn't going to give you choice," he says against my lips before I pull him into a kiss unable to express my happiness. Tears of joy slip of out my eyes, "I might have noticed a box in your bag while unpacking your stuff earlier but decided not to spoil your plan,"

A smile dances on my face as he groans, "I couldn't do one thing right,"

"Well you did drop hints way too many times since the past year and I just pretended not to understand," I giggle at his surprised expression and he starts tickling me.

"This is for torturing me so fucking much! You have no idea how confused I was by your riddles, cupcake,"

"I-I'm sorry, n-now stop!" I say breathless still laughing.

"Hey I was just having some fun is all," my voice is still breathless as he gets back to hovering me.

"I love you," the words roll out of me before Reese kissed me again but this time, I started to undress him.

Too much of foreplay and too much of happiness, "So when do I get to call you my wife?"

He asks me with a grin making me widen my eyes and blush, god he is doing this on purpose, "Just so you know, I want nothing more than a courtroom wedding but followed by a good vacation,"

I wink at him playing along with a huge grin, "So, you'd be fine if I dragged you to the courtroom today, huh?"

"Hey! Let me at least enjoy the fiancé status for a while,"

"Whatever you decide, cupcake," he smiles before not wasting a second by moving into me. Damn, I don't think life could get any better than this right now.

"Reese! Guess who's here?!" I squeal running into the kitchen while Reese is taking the mac and cheese bake out of the oven.

"Surprise Surprise!" Ty followed by Ray enters behind me. A surprised smile makes it's way to Reese's face before they do their usual trio hug. "Come on, Irene!"

Ty pulls me into the group hug making me laugh a little, damn did it feel good to have friends like them that we call family. Pulling away from the hug, "Reese go, I'll take care of dinner," I push Reese out of the kitchen after Ray and Ty.

"I already took care of it, I knew they were joining us so there are two more casseroles in the oven so stop working yourself up,"

"You knew they were coming?!"

"I invited them silly, it has been over a week since I put that ring on your finger so it was about time we celebrated," he points out pulling me into a kiss. Things were starting to get real and surprisingly the engagement changed nothing, probably because we were already used to living together.

"Let's go now before we start boring our guests," I push him away with a smile before we both headed back to the living room.

"You know, we're surprised by how long it took you to finally put a ring on her finger. I out of everyone got down on my knees within a year of meeting Leah," Reese gives me a blaming look at Ty's question.

"She played me into believing she wasn't ready," a giggle escapes my lips at his accusing tone which sounds like a kid complaining about another kid stealing his candy.

"Hey! I was just having some fun, you knew better than not asking me something as simple as 'Marry me'," I poke his arm which he drapes over my shoulders.

"See I knew it was Reese who didn't get that you were ready! You guys were already whipped with each other!" Ray now laughs making me giggle.

"I'm going to take care of this later cupcake," Reese whispers warningly with a mischievous smile before moving away to grab the glasses and whiskey he put on the coffee table.

"Aren't you guys going to fresh up?" I ask Ray and Ty raising an eyebrow.

"Actually, I need to fresh up," Ray says standing up and grabbing his bag as well as Ty's.

"That's where you guys will be crashing," Reese points out to the room on the next floor. "You guys picked an amazing house,"

Ty comments making both of us smile, "So, what's the plan for tomorrow?"

Reese asks looking at me and then facing Ty as he hands our glasses, "A little later Reese, I'm hungry," never drink with an empty stomach.

I smile as he shrugs before sitting back comfortably, "Well, it's a Sunday so I'm free the whole day,"

"So am I," Reese adds.

"How about we hit the beach tomorrow?" Ty asks making me excited.

"Hell, yes!" I second his idea, "You heard the lady,"

I kiss Reese's cheek, "Let's see what Ray has to say the and you call Mia if you want to?"

"Oh no, Lucas and Mia shifted to California last week so they can't join us on these gatherings," I sigh disappointed that Mia wouldn't be around much anymore but I'm happy for her.

"You okay?" Reese nudges me interrupting my thoughts.

"Yup, just hungry," I lie but only partially also knowing that Reese knows I'm thinking about Mia.

I stand up heading to the kitchen while Ty scans through Netflix on TV, Reese just follows me, "Hey she said she'll be back now and then,"

Reese grabs my arm and turns me around, "I'm fine really, just disappointed I couldn't spend much time with her before she left," I sigh but it wasn't on purpose. My work was hectic and we could only meet once the past months before she left.

"We'll try surprising her some time, okay?" Reese asks me trying to cheer me up and I just kiss him standing tiptoes.

"We'll make it work, I know that and don't worry. Also, I've got a great family now to keep me company," I tell him with a smile. Reese's mom and I grew closer and his dad started warming up to me a few months after the whole Alex situation ended.

Grabbing my chin, Reese kisses me again with a smile. This was perfect, in his arms, I found all the comfort I needed and the love more than I could ever ask for.
