Natsu's POV

The girls were still out and about and unheard from. We had finished the job for them and got the pay, yet we haven't heard nor seen them at all.
"Natsu. Why the sad face?" Wendy asked. Her sudden question made me perk up and peer somewhere else other than the window.
"I'm not sad. Just thinking."
"Than what are you thinking about?" She continued.
"Just where in the world the girls might be." Wendy nodded and continued to eat her food.
The diner we were currently eating at was bustling with activity. There were billions of people coming to get food before sundown.
"Yo Flamebrain, you gonna eat that?" Gray pestered. I ignored his attempt to annoy me and slide him my plate of food.
"Nah, it's all yours." Gajeel stopped eating and sent me a surprised glare.
"Dude, are you okay? You're mind has been elsewhere since we left the library, and you've been staring at the window like it's actually going to do something!" Gajeel blurted out.
"I'm not staring at the window, I'm looking through it." I hissed.
People of all ages were walking along the street beside the dinner. Eventually you would even see an Exceed or two, but only on rare occasions.
A sway of blonde hair caught my eye. I perked up in hope to see the familiar sight of a certain girl, but only to be subsided by the girl we had once saw before.
Strangely, her hood was down. She was facing the other way but she was visibly laughing. It was a heart warming sight to be honest. Just before you could sense the sad aurora she emitted, but now she was beaming. She still looked awfully similar to Lucy.
I rejoiced when I saw the two girls I was searching for beside her. In one swift movement I abruptly got to my feet and exited the booth we were currently occupying.
"What th- where are you going?" Gray demanded.
"I'll be back, I just saw something."
I quickly evacuated the restaurant pushing past groups of families piled onto one another.
I looked around for the girls once more before locking my gaze upon the trio.
"Hey!" I yelled. The hooded girl flinched when I spoke. Erza turned around to face me; shock in her eyes.
"Heeeeyyy Natsu~." She stammered.
She embraced me into a hug making sure to smash my head into her armor, blinding me from the ongoing activity.
I heard frantic movement, later followed by the rustling of fabrics. I looked up to see Levys hands on the girls hood pulling it up. She acknowledged my glare and awkwardly leaned on the girls shoulders in an attempt to look "Casual".
"H-Hey! Did you guys finish the job?" Levy stuttered.
"Yeah, we did. Except we used all the cash on the dinner we just ate. There's 7 jewel left if you girls want it."
"Sure, sure! I'll take it." The blue haired Mage seemed extremely at uneasy.
"Yeah... Umm.... It's in my pocket somewhere." I frantically ravaged through my pocket to find any sign of a gleaming object but to no prevail. Just above my head the girls were panicking. I didn't think they realized that I sensed all of their movements, including the kick of the baby in the woman's womb.
    Eventually the hooded girl straightened her back and looked down at me with a determined look.
"Natsu." She began.
Her voice. It was so familiar that it brought pain to my heart. My insides felt hollow as I looked towards the girl. Her eyes were covered by her silk cloak.
    Strangely, Erzas and Levys eyes were wide in shock. Levys mouth was gaped open.
"Yes?"
"It-it's....I'm....I best be going. Good bye you three." The girl got ready to leave but was pulled to an abrupt halt. Erzas hand rested firmly on her shoulder.
"Lucy." The girl flinched at her name. "You can't stop now."
"L-Luce?!" I spat. The girl sighed loudly and turned around; her cloak swaying behind her causing dust to stir.  Silent sobs came from under the fabric masking her face.
"...I can't..." She eventually muttered.
"Why?" The girl continued to cry, her sobs growing louder and louder.
     She pulled her hood down violently pulling her blonde hair from her face.
It was her...
It was Lucy...
"I can't say Hello because I can't risk another goodbye." Lucy snapped.
       My insides felt as if they were dropped off a cliff. They knew? And they kept it from the guild? Was her story real? Was I really dumb enough to not suspect that it was her? I had my suspicions but what made me suspect otherwise?
"Was it true?" I quaked.
     Before Lucy could answer she quickly got to her feet and broke into a quick pace towards the forrest. I got up to chase after her but was pulled back by a strong force.
"Don't." Erza demanded
"Why?!" I fumed, "I've been looking for her for months!!"
"You can't go,"
"Why not?!?!?"
"Because you've caused her enough pain already!!!" Erza roared.
     A few sniffles came from Levys direction.
I've caused her pain?
   Erza turned to walk off, but quickly stopped to aggressively grab my collar. Her eyes were raging with a furious storm.
"Don't even think about following her."  She threatened before dropping me; leaving me an ignorant bliss.
    Levys head hung low. Her hair blinded her eyes from any visual contact. She shook with nervousness and anxiety. She eventually looked up at me with watery eyes and tear stained cheeked before throwing a bag at me.
    Before I had the chance to look in the bag, she was gone.
     My mind was racing with questions. They flew around my head like birds going left and right. My mind was a computer searching for any trace of a clue leading to the present time. Nothing.
    I cautiously looked in the bag. Inside laid a yellow blanket. It showed no answers to any of my questions. I searched along the fabric for any clue of an idea, but to no prevail.
Until I eventually saw it.
   It wasn't a note, it wasn't a answer nor name.
    It was an emblem.

The most awkward part about writing this book is the fact that I have to research pregnancy😂😂. I mean, I'm only in middle school!! But anyways, I love writing this for you guys, I hope you enjoyed it!! Please tell me if you like where this book is going(idk if I used the right where so correct me if I'm wrong). Anywho,
