~Zaria's POV~

I sat in Darry's lap as I listen to them talk. They talked about the rumble in 2 days.

"Darry can me and Pony go," I ask.

"No," Darry says. "Well at least you"

"What that's not far," I say.

"Zaria I said no and that's final," Darry says sternly.

I get off his lap and go into our room. Darry never lets me do anything. I lay down and hugged my pillow. The door opens and someone sits on the bed.

"Baby," Darry says.

I look up at him.

"W-what," I say.

He pulls me into a hug and rests his head on mine.

"Baby I don't want you to go to the rumble because Dawn's in jail because of one. I don't want you to go to jail. I will never see my little energetic Zaria again if you do," Darry says looking me straight in the eye.

"Okay Darry. But can I at least come and watch. I'll yell if anyone tries to come near me," I say.

"Deal but you when you yell just yell out everyone's name okay because if I'm caught up with someone I wouldn't be able to get to you in time," Darry says

I nod and smile hugging his torso. Darry smiles and holds my close. I feel so small when I'm in his arms. Darry hums. I smile as I feel my eyes flutter shut.

~Timeskip to day of Rumble~

I wait for Darry to come home from work. Dawn was in her room with Dally. She had come home around 2. Its now almost 8 and Darry should be home any minute. I hear the lock rattle.

"I'm home," Darry's voice sounds throughout the house.

I giggle and go into the living room.

"There's my beautiful princess," Darry says hugging me.

"Hi Darry how was work," I ask.

"Good I had 4 jobs today on top of thinking of the rumble tonight and someone's birthday next week," Darry says, kissing my nose.

I giggle and scrunch up my nose. Darry chuckles and then he looks behind me.
