Day 1 - Morning
"We have an intruder aboard."
Itsuka groaned next to the blond who was currently leaning over the back of his seat, glaring at the purple haired student sitting in the back of the bus bundled up in a thick wool scarf. "Don't tell me you didn't notice him this entire bus ride?"
Neito gave her a shocked gasp. "You knew about this!?"
"Yes, Neito, I did," she rolled her eyes. "Everyone knew he was accompanying us."
"I DIDN'T!"
"This is why we didn't tell you," Kinoko giggled from the adjacent seat to Neito and Itsuka. "Your reaction is as shroomerful as I thought it'd be!"
"This was supposed to be a Class 2B trip only-!"
"Chill, Neito," Izuku said with a yawn as he raised his head. He sat in the back seat next to the boy Neito was taking so much offense with. A blanket was spread over the greenette's lap and over the next seat, which sported a rather suspicious lump that shifted when Izuku sat up straighter. "I invited him."
"Izuku, how could you!?" Neito's voice broke. "I thought we were friends-!" He was cut off as the scarf around Shinso's neck lashed out and wrapped around the blond's mouth.
"Some of us are trying to sleep," Hitoshi grumbled, blinking wearily as he raised his head. "Besides, it's not like you really care."
"That's besides the point," Neito managed to say as he tugged the scarf off him. With a snap of his wrist, the scarf flew back to Shinso and he carefully wrapped it back around his neck.
A huge yawn came from near the front and a skeletal face poked out from behind a seat. "Hey, what time is it?"
"5:36," Jurota said as he checked his watch. He sat at the very front of the bus, wearing only a thin jacket compared to everyone else who wore thicker coats.
"Dang," Juzo groaned, sliding back into his seat as he ran a hand down his face. "Too early."
"Are we there yet!?" Tetsutetsu yelled as he jerked awake, glancing out the window. "Oh, no, guess not."
Hiryu, having the misfortune to be sitting right next to the Steel quirked boy, jumped in his seat before slumping forward against the seat in front of him. "Well, I'm awake now," he said, voice muffled.
"Neito, look what you did," Itsuka smacked the boy across the head. "Now everyone's awake."
"Puh-lease," Neito grumbled as he rubbed his head and sat back down. "Most of us have already been awake for the past hour. And our resident cryptids haven't slept at all."
Both Shihai and Reiko glanced up from their phones where they sat together. Reiko's eyes had heavy shadows beneath them and Shihai's looked weary.
Hitoshi raised a hand in the back. "Do I count?"
"Yeah yeah sure." Neito waved his hand back at him without looking. "Okay, but seriously, how long until we're there?"
"Not much longer," Sen said from the seat in front of him. He sat alone, which was unusual since he and Yosetsu were practically inseparable. He peered out the frost covered window. Outside snow covered pine trees raced by in the darkness. "Hm... maybe thirty minutes? Going off by the time we left we should get there by the time it starts getting brighter."
"It's nice that your parents are letting us all come to their ski resort," Izuku told him. "I've always wanted to try."
"Careful, Izuku, you might just break a leg while doing it," Itsuka snickered.
"I can't be that bad at it," Izuku pouted.
"Say, Sen, why aren't you sitting with Yosetsu?" Neito asked, glancing around the bus.
Sen pointed him in the right direction. "See for yourself."
"Ah."
In one of the middle seats both Yosetsu and Yui were huddled together and from the looks of it were putting together a Gundam model. Bondo was leaning over his seat and providing small globs of glue. Neito giggled. "Oh man, what happened to bros before-URK!"
"Don't even try to finish that sentence, Neito," Ibara warned him as her vines moved from her cocoon to smack him across the head.
"Duly noted," the boy gurgled as he lay slumped sideways.
Ibara huffed before yawning and smacking her lips sleepily. She stood, stretching and took a glance around the bus. She frowned. "Where's Setsuna?"
Itsuka smirked. "Getting her cuddle time in."
Izuku grinned sheepishly in the back when both girls turned to stare at him. The blanket shifted and Setsuna's head emerged from beneath. She glared at them groggily as she nestled closer to him. "It's cold," she complained. "And Izu's warm~" She made some content clicking noises and closed her eyes in contentment when Izuku rubbed her head.
Ibara sighed and shook her head. "You have a coat, you know."
"Not wearing it is an excuse to get boyfriend snuggles," Hitoshi said with his eyes closed. "There's no stopping her."
"I suppose not," Ibara shrugged, but she wore a small smile. Izuku and Setsuna were the pride and joy of Class 2B, something Neito liked to remind Class 2A of every so often. Not only was Izuku their strongest classmate, but he and Setsuna both had a mind for strategy that when put together, made for quite a struggle to go up against. Setsuna with her natural leadership capabilities, Izuku's genius analysis made for a frightening pair, and both their above average intellect made for a frightening combination.
Ibara stared out the window, watching the scenery pass by. She startled, blinking. What was- She shook her head. She thought she'd seen a massive shadow hidden in the forest trees. Rubbing her eyes, she vowed to get more sleep later. Clearly she needed it.
"Ugh, this is so boring," Togaru complained as he kicked his feet up against the seat in front of him, disturbing Kosei.
"Yo, put your feet down man," the oval eyed boy said, jabbing at the offending appendages.
"Make me," Togaru grunted.
Smirking, Kosei drew in a breath and began blowing solid air against him and back into his seat. Unperturbed, the mantis-faced boy raised his elbow and a knife cut through his coat and shattered the solidified air. "If you wanna go, I'm all for it!"
"Settle down, Togaru," Nirengeki placated his hot-blooded classmate. He held up his phone for him to see. "Look, they have a kendo club at the resort. Not real blades, but it should be right up your alley."
"Hmph," Togaru side-eyed it before his knife slowly slid back inside him. "Fine then. You'd better be participating too then."
"You know I'm more of hand-to-hand fighter," Nirengeki said hurriedly. He frowned. "But I guess I can try."
"Kendo you said?" Itsuka had come up to them, peering over their shoulders at the phone. "Oh, sweet! I've always wanted to try my hand at other dojos."
"Nevermind, Nirengeki," Togaru cracked his knuckles upon seeing the fire in their Class Rep's eyes. "I think I just found myself a worthy opponent."
"Geez, always looking for violence," Kosei slipped back into his chair. He picked his handheld console back up and nudged Manga next to him. "Hey, ready for round 2?"
An exclamation mark appeared in Manga's speech bubble for a head. "START!"
In the back Izuku leaned his head against the cold glass. His breath fogged the window, but he could still see mostly. He did that for a little while, his mind not really processing what he was seeing, his thoughts still running through his recent dreams-
"Ow," he complained when a sudden jab in his side made him start in surprise. He glanced down as Setsuna's head emerged once more, the offending hand raised as if to jab him again.
"What was that for?" He asked.
She gave him a look with her dusky green eyes. "You're too tense. This is supposed to be a vacation. Relax a little."
Izuku rubbed the back of his head as he gave her an awkward smile. "That obvious, huh?"
"Maybe not to everyone else." She shrugged and poked him in the cheek. "But I've known you long enough to know your tells. Is it..." she glanced around before whispering, "One For All?"
Izuku nodded and he lowered his voice too. "I've still been having those dreams. All I can see of them are shadows, but I'm sure they're the previous users. But I don't know what they want from me."
"Well, whatever it is, maybe they'll leave you alone for a few days," Setsuna chirped. "I mean, is that too much to ask for?" She knocked a fist lightly on his forehead. "They don't wanna see me angry. When I'm angry, I bite." Her lips curled up to reveal two rows of sharp teeth.
Izuku laughed. "Thanks for that, Set."
"Anytime, Mumbles," she smiled warmly before crashing into him with a hug and making him fall sideways into Hitoshi. She rubbed their cheeks together, making him turn red. "Mm, warm~"
"Really you two?" Hitoshi groaned as he scooted away, making Izuku's head fall onto the cushioned seat. "Get a room."
"Set, you should really put a coat on if you're that cold," Izuku said, not even bothering trying to get up. It would be a useless endeavor anyway.
Setsuna pouted as she clung to him. "Don't wanna."
Izuku chuckled as he rolled his eyes, his face still feeling rather warm, but smiling contently nonetheless. Lizard Tail Splitter was Setsuna's quirk and one he'd analyzed pretty thoroughly. While classified as a Transformation Quirk, it also showed signs of being a Mutation Quirk. Like most lizards, Setsuna's body was cold-blooded, so winter was always harsher on her than most. Thus the habit of snuggling up to him for warmth was born, even if wearing a coat was an option.
The remainder of the bus ride was left in relative silence, broken only when Tetsutetsu slammed his thankfully untransformed face into his window. "I SEE THE RESORT!" Anyone who might've been dozing off were now fully awake, including Hitoshi, though he chose to remain in his seat while peeking over his scarf as the bus drove through the town.
"Alright, Set, time to get off," Izuku pushed lightly against his girlfriend, met resistance, then proceeded to toss the blanket off them both. Setsuna hissed and dove for it, wrapping herself up in a cocoon in record time.
"Here," Izuku grabbed their luggage from the rack effortlessly and dug through Setsuna's suitcase.
"Oh, how bold of you," she said from the ground with a wide smirk.
Despite growing red in the face, Izuku continued on with his mission and produced her coat. He tossed it at her and proceeded to step over her to join Neito and Itsuka. "Hurry up or we'll leave you behind."
Setsuna stared at him for a moment before turning to Hitoshi. "He left me for them. When did he grow a pair?"
"When he got desensitized to your antics," Hitoshi informed her. He finished sucking the last of his Cereal Milk flavored jelly pouch before saying, "Well, I wouldn't say he's fully desensitized to you just yet."
"Good, cause it would be boring if he was this quickly," Setsuna grumbled as she untangled herself from the blanket and picked up the coat. She shivered when the bus doors opened and the cold winter air blew inside. "I-I h-hate th-the c-cold," she shivered, tugging on the thick layer and zipping it up. She flipped the hood up and pulled on the strings to close it around her face. She held out her arms. "How do I look?"
Hitoshi gave her a once-over. All that could be seen was a small portion of her face that was being obscured by her dark green hair. Not to mention that her coat was made to look like some sort of green dinosaur with the hood being its head. It almost looked like her head was being devoured. "Ridiculous," He stated as he stood to grab his luggage.
"Sweet," she gave two thumbs up. "Shoot, where are my gloves!?" She dove for her suitcase and began tearing through it. "Please tell me I brought them, they're too cool to have left-okay, we're good." She zipped back to her feet. "Look, dinosaur gloves!" The green fuzzy gloves had two eyes on top of the knuckles and the underside was designed to look like it had sharp teeth. "Nom nom nom!" She moved her hands in a way that looked like they were chomping down on something.
Hitoshi stared at her in silence for a long moment before walking off with his suitcase being dragged behind him. "Izuku, get your girlfriend! She's being too weird!"
"Nobody likes my dinosaurs," Setsuna hung her head, only for it to immediately jerk back up. "Except for Izuku! Hey, Mumbles, wait up!" She slammed her suitcase shut and hurried off after everyone else. She departed the bus last and landed in soft snow. She spotted a familiar coat and latched onto the arm after pushing through her classmates. "Mumbles, have you seen-" She blinked. "You're not Mumbles."
"Oh really, I hadn't noticed," Neito said dryly before flicking her on the forehead and she dramatically fell back into Izuku's arms.
"Why do you two have the same coat?" Setsuna glanced between the both of them.
"If you must know we went shopping at the same store to prepare for this trip," Neito brought his gloved hands together and blew air into them.
"Huh... you both should wear matching dinosaur coats-"
"No."
"Kill-joy," Setsuna muttered as she righted herself and finally took a look at their surroundings. It was snowing lightly and the first rays of sunlight had peaked over the horizon. They'd arrived at a rustic looking inn with steam rising from somewhere in the back. Setsuna would've leapt with joy if she wasn't so cold. An outdoor Onsen sounded so nice right about now.
"Does everyone have their things?" Itsuka said from the front with Nirengeki beside her. When everyone gave their affirmatives, she nodded, satisfied. "Good, now let's go get checked in. Anyone who wants to sleep can. Or we can go skiing once they open that up. Later we can explore the town. Sen-"
"Yeah yeah, I'll give the grand tour," the dark haired teen shoved his hands into his white coat's pockets.
Itsuka nodded. "Just remember that we're all meeting up for lunch after skiing. Dinner as well here at the inn. We'll cap things off with the hot springs and call it a night. Tomorrow is when we'll all ski together, no buts."
"But-!"
"Alright, let's go!" Itsuka clapped her hands together once and turned to lead the way into the inn, completely ignoring Setsuna.
"Ohhh, she's gonna get it later," Setsuna said darkly, an evil grin adorning her face.
"Uh, go easy on her?" Izuku said awkwardly.
"Nope," Setsuna popped the 'p' before tugging on Izuku's arm. "C'mon, it's freezing out here!"
...
Neito slowed to a halt, lifting his goggles as he stared at his best friend. "Literally how?"
"Hey, I didn't break anything," Izuku grinned up at him where he lay half buried against a tree, upside down with his skis sticking straight up out of the snow.
"You activated One For All just before impact, didn't you?"
"...yeah."
Neito chuckled before stooping to help his friend up. "Those skis okay?"
Izuku brushed the snow off him and tested the skis. "Yeah, they seem fine. They feel pretty durable." Together he and Neito kicked off down the slope. It took a minute for Izuku to get comfortable with the steering, but he eventually got the movements down. While still sloppy, he managed not to crash again and he and Neito reached the bottom without incident. They pulled up to the small lodge at the foot of the mountain and sat down at one of the available tables.
"Not bad for the last half," Neito congratulated him as he clapped him on the shoulder.
"What happened on the first half?" Itsuka, having already made it to the bottom well before them, asked as she came over, tufts of ginger hair sticking out from the front of her beanie.
"Eheheh, not important," Izuku said quickly whilst looking sheepish.
"Not to worry, my lips are sealed." Neito mimed zipping up his lips.
Itsuka rolled her eyes at their antics. "Okay you two, I'm going to go again. Wanna come with?"
"Nah, I'm good," Neito waved her off. "I was going to head into town to explore for a bit. Weren't you and Setsuna gonna go somewhere together, Izuku?"
"Later," Izuku said with a frown. "She's asleep at the moment and I don't know when she'll get up. She really doesn't like the cold."
"Fair enough," Neito nodded. "How about we go explore the town a little before lunch then? Maybe you could find the perfect date spot for later?" He winked at him.
"That's a great idea." Itsuka tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Set won't admit it, but she actually likes fancy restaurants. She can put up a hell of an act of acting like a prim and proper lady."
"Really?" Izuku blinked at her in surprise.
"Trust me when I say it's mostly an act," Itsuka sighed. "But really, she does like fancy places. Not often, and definitely not when someone else is paying, but she will love the gesture. Promise."
"I'll keep that in mind then!" Izuku grinned. "Thank you, Itsuka!"
"No problem," she laughed. "Have fun you two. Just make sure to make it back to the inn on time for lunch."
"We will," Izuku promised. "I'll knock out Neito and drag him if I have to."
"Hey, that's not allowed!" Neito exclaimed. "Only Itsuka is allowed to do that! And I only let her do it reluctantly!"
"Reluctantly you say?" Neito shivered at the gleam that suddenly appeared in the ginger's eyes as she raised her hand. "Let's test that theory, shall we?"
"Izuku, let's go!" He grabbed his friend's hand and made to run away.
"Neito wait, our skis-OOF!"
...
When the sound of Itsuka's laughter finally faded into the background and both boys had begun walking the cobblestone streets, Neito asked, "So what was this town's name again."
"Fuyu."
Neito blinked. "That's really... imaginative."
"Funnily enough, that's what Sen said as well."
"Anyway, is there a coffee shop anywhere near here?" Neito glanced around at the little shops they were passing. Fuyu wasn't that large, the biggest buildings being the town hall, the ski resort, and the inn where Class 2B was staying. There were few small hotels around, shops, and the homes of the residents. It was quaint and gave off a festive sort of vibe, especially with the Christmas decorations that had yet to be taken down.
"There's bound to be one somewhere," Izuku started looking around as well. "The usual then?"
Neito nodded. "I have a few ideas I want to bounce off you. Oh hey, here's one." He turned towards a small coffee shop on the corner of the street, the sign above it reading "Tiger Eyes". They stepped inside, a soft jingle sounding upon their entrance. There were already a few people sitting at the round tables, some glancing in their direction but didn't pay them any mind.
"Welcome in," the barista, a young woman with long white hair that ended in soft curls, greeted them as she finished setting down a customer's coffee. She wore a black apron with a white tiger imprint over a white shirt and black pants. "I'll be with you in just a moment. Feel free to find an available seat to your liking."
"Thank you," Izuku and Neito chorused before both instinctively sought after a booth in the farthest corner. It had a nice big window that looked out onto the street and was far enough away from the other customers that they could have conversations concerning some rather 'sensitive' topics.
"Alright, what's your grand idea this time?"
"Hey, don't phrase it like that. I've had some pretty good ideas before!"
Izuku raised a doubting eyebrow. "How many bones have I broken?"
"How many were your fault and not mine?"
"...that's fair. Okay, fine, what's this idea of yours?"
Neito took out his notebook, of the same brand Izuku used to analyze heroes. "Okay, Superpower... Again, you seriously couldn't have come up with a better cover name?"
Izuku groaned and dropped his head onto the table. "You're never going to let that go are you?"
"No I am most certainly not," Neito stretched out the words. "Okay, so let's review quickly what we know. Superpower, better name still pending, stores power over periods of time and said power is used to amplify your strength, speed, mobility, etc. This stored power cannot diminish, but continues to grow. That itself is a concern that we still need to tackle mind you."
"Yeah," Izuku nodded. He'd used One For All at full power a few times, with a medical history of broken bones to prove it, and after comparing them to some of All Might's greatest feats of strength, he'd noticed that his bone-breaking 100% sometimes exceeded those of All Might's. A concerning thought, especially since he'd only grow in power. The Quirk Singularity Theory was becoming more and more of a viable point of discussion.
"Anyway-" Neito began to say before the barista came over.
"Is there anything I can get you two to start off with?" She asked, pen and notepad in hand as her golden brown eyes surveyed them. Izuku noticed her name tag and read, 'Yuuniayama'.
"Black coffee for me," Neito said.
"Green tea if you have it," Izuku asked politely.
"Of course," she wrote them down. "I'll have those ready for you soon."
"Is it just you who works here?" Neito glanced around curiously.
"Yes," she said, pocketing her notepad in her apron's breast pocket. "I've considered taking on another worker or two, but the locals and tourists as well seem to like the slow and easy atmosphere."
"It's very nice," Izuku commented. "Tiger Eyes... Where'd you come up with the name?"
"Ah, well," the barista glanced away, somewhat embarrassed looking. "That was my sister's idea. She wanted it to represent me, so she uh, named it after my quirk."
"Oh you shouldn't have," Neito groaned with a faux stricken face.
"Huh?" She blinked at him before seeing Izuku's eyes grow round.
"What'sitcalled!?" Izuku had whipped out his notebook so fast that Yuunaiyama was taken aback at how fast his pencil had pressed down onto a fresh page.
Neito gave her a 'what can you do' sort of look paired with a shrug. "Sorry about him, he's a Quirk fanatic, even more so than me believe it or not."
Izuku nodded excitedly.
Yuunaiyama, still looking somewhat embarrassed, chuckled. "Well, I don't mind if you don't. Just give me a moment to make your drinks. It's nearly time for me to take a small break anyway."
When she left, Neito gave Izuku a dry look. "You and Quirks."
"You're one to talk," Izuku accused him.
"Guilty." The blond held up his hands. "Anyway, back to 'Superpower' oh my gosh I hate that name. Ugh, anyway, what we know about your Quirk is that it's all about taking that stored power and utilizing it as a strength enhancer. Now what if instead of channeling it through your muscles, you instead try to channel it outwards."
Izuku furrowed his brow. "Outwards? Like... a blast of energy?"
"Exactly," Neito nodded. "You use Air Force and the wind gusts from your punches and kicks as your long range attacks. But if you were able to channel Superpower outwardly instead of inwardly, that could open up a host of new fighting options for you."
"So basically..." Izuku mulled the theory over in his head for a moment. "Don't think of it as strictly an Enhancer Quirk, but an... Emitter... Neito." Izuku stared wide-eyed at his friend. "I think you're onto something here."
"Right?" Neito looked smug. "'Cause from all the information Nighteye was able to give you, there's been no precedent of the known previous holders, let alone All Might, being able to use it in such a way. But that would also mean-"
"That they may not even have tried to use it in that way!" Izuku finished. "Neito, I think you're a genius!"
"Yes, I know," Neito flicked his bangs. "Lavish me with your praise."
"Uh huh, yeah, later," Izuku said absentmindedly, already having flipped to his One For All page in his notebook. He was halfway through writing down potential uses of the Quirk as an Emitter, if it even worked, when Yuunaiyama returned.
"Here you are," she said, setting down the cups in front of both boys before taking the spot offered by Neito when he scooted over in the booth. Nodding to him in thanks, she smiled at Izuku. "Alright, you wanted to see my quirk?"
"I-if you don't mind," Izuku scratched his chin as he flushed. "Sorry, I really like Quirks. You don't have to if you don't want to."
"No, it's alright," she said hurriedly. "I mean, it's nothing special. As I said my Quirk is called Tiger Eyes, and, well, it's pretty much as it says." She blinked, then her eyes began to glow softly, her irises becoming catlike. Izuku felt a warmth fill him as he gazed into those tiger-like eyes that radiated amber color. When she blinked, the glow faded. Izuku basked in the warm emotions that filled him before they began to ebb away.
"What was that?" Izuku breathed.
"The effects of Tiger Eyes," Yuunaiyama explained. "Have you two heard of tiger eyes? The gemstones? They're said to ward off negative energy, bring you self-confidence and courage, amongst other properties some propose they emit. They don't of course, but my eyes can. It's not that useful since the effect fades fast once I deactivate it."
"Did you ever consider going into rescue work?" Izuku asked.
"I could never get into a hero school with my skills." She smiled and Izuku believed it looked a bit strained. "All I have going for me are my eyes, so-"
"It's a really useful Quirk," Izuku told her confidently. She blinked at him as he continued. "A teacher at my school has a Quirk that involves his eyes, like you. He relies purely on his fighting style to win in fights. But even if hero work like that isn't your thing, you could participate in rescue efforts. It would be great to help soothe those who were caught in horrible accidents." Izuku looked so excited before turning a deep red. "O-oh, I-I'm not saying i-it's something you have to do, j-just an idea..."
Yuunaiyama looked dumbfounded before she laughed softly. "I've never had anyone say something like that to me before. Thank you." She smiled widely. "I guess I could do something like that, but I don't think I really have the confidence for it. Ironic, considering my Quirk. But I'm satisfied with where I'm at."
"A-and that's all that matters!" Izuku said, still red. He coughed and took a few sips of the tea. "Still, it is an amazing Quirk. It's far from being useless."
"Haha, well, thank you," she looked pleased, if a little embarrassed. "Say, when you said your teacher fights, are you two perhaps-"
"HEY! GIVE THAT BACK!"
The three startled and immediately looked out the window to see someone rushing by with something gathered in his hands. Neito was ready to move in an instant, but couldn't really get out of his seat with Yuunaiyama in his way. Izuku on the other hand had already bolted from the booth and towards the door. He skidded out onto the sidewalk, a light coating of One For All enveloping him, but before he could act any further, a shadow flew overhead and bowled the robber over.
"Dammit, get off me!" The robber yelled, struggling against his assailant.
They planted a large paw on the person's head to keep him pinned to the ground. She wore a blue coat lined with white fur, but the hood had fallen down to reveal a face with tiger-like features, her fur white with black streaks. A tail flicked back and forth as she snarled, "Not a chance."
"Hey, you-nevermind, already taken care of," Neito said as soon as he'd rushed outside, Yuunaiyama having followed him. Several of the customers inside the shop peered out the window, but with all the action already over, most returned to their seats.
"It's been a while since anyone decided to cause any trouble here," the heroine hauled the guy to his feet, stringy blue hair falling in front of his face. "Must not be a local. You could've at least put up a better fight than that. Nobody here got a show."
The crowd of onlookers laughed and the robber's face darkened as he muttered some curses. The bag he'd stolen was yanked from his hands and tossed to someone in the crowd. "Here's that back to you, ma'am! Don't worry, I'll make sure this jerkwad behaves from now on!" She turned and broke into a grin. "Heya sis, whatcha doing here?"
"I work here," Yuunaiyama said dryly.
"Oh, I suppose you do," the heroine nodded at the café. "Well, I'll have to drop by later, gotta take this guy in. You know the drill."
"I do," Yuunaiyama muttered under her breath.
"Yamatora is your sister!?"
Both Neito and Yuunaiyama both turned to stare at Izuku. "You know her?" Neito asked before shaking his head. "Shoot, forgot for a moment that you're quite literally the biggest hero nerd out there. Of course you know a pro hero in a small town like this."
"She's not a pro yet," Izuku corrected. "She's actually the sidekick to Pro Hero Turnback, a famous rescue hero who specializes in forest and mountain rescues."
"Yeah, well, I need to get back to work," Yuunaiyama marched back inside, the door slamming shut behind her.
"Something tells me those two aren't on good terms," Neito muttered to his friend.
"No, I don't think so," Izuku said with a curious expression. "Well, let's get back to that theory of yours. Any ideas on how we might go about testing to see if I can even do it..."
Welcome back one and all to another MHA fic by yours truly! This story was one I've had floating around in my head for a while now, but only recently figured out a way to go about writing it in a way I like. This will likely be more of a suspense or horror sort of story, we'll see how it goes.
The Yuunaiyama sisters will be reoccurring characters throughout this story, and Yamatora's Quirk, White Tiger, is a Quirk idea given to me by Juni_Penguin_ while the Quirk Tiger Eyes was obviously inspired by it. The cover and banners were also provided by Juni_Penguin_.
This story will be longer than A World Without You, but currently it's projected to just be 25 chapters long of decent size. So I hope you all enjoy this ride. Until next time! Toodles~
