I was currently at cheer practice with Audrey who was giving me the silent treatment and death stares every chance she got.

I knew why tho. I technically stole her boyfriend and her ticket at being queen of auradon but I didn't feel pity for her infact I felt like I was doing Ben a favor I mean he could do so much better then Audrey.

Anyway once cheer practice was over I had the rest of day to myself since my other classes had got cancelled and I decided to go back to my dorm to take a much needed nap since I didn't get much sleep last night with Audrey snoring like a freight train all night

Hey McKenna wait up Ben called running up to me

Hey Ben I said

Hey. I said

Are you doing anything later today? Ben asked

Uh no. I said

Great because I wanted to take you out on a date. Ben said

A date? I asked

Yeah it'll be fun. I'll pick you up later this afternoon. Ben said giving me a kiss on the cheek before rushing off

What was I gonna do? I didn't know the first thing about going on dates or what one would wear on a date

I soon found her at the picnic tables with Doug

Evie! There you are. I've been looking all over for you. I said

What's wrong McKenna? Evie asked

Ben asked me out on a date and I don't know what to do. I said

Well you've come to the right person. I'll see ya later Doug Evie said as she and Doug said their goodbyes

Come on Evie said as she took me back to her and Mal's dorm where Mal was laying across her bed drawing.

I watched as Evie searched though my clothes until she found an outfit

Where did you get this from? Evie asked holding up an outfit that Arielle the daughter of Ariel had gotten me as a welcome the cheer team gift saying that it looked good in me

I got it from Arielle as a gift. I said

Well you're gonna wear it for your date. Evie said as I went to put it on

You look great. Blue really looks good on you. Evie said as mal looked at me

You look like your from auradon. Mal said not to impressed.

Don't listen to her you look amazing Evie said puting on my blue flower necklace completing the look.

After that she did my make up

Alright Evie don't have me looking like no clown I said

Mckenna I know what I'm doing. Evie said as she finished up and gave me mirror so I could see

Wow I don't look hideous I said

Of course not. What do you think Mal? Evie said as Mal looked at me not impressed

You look like one of those prissy princesses Mal said

Well I guess that's a good thing since I'm playing the part of Ben's girlfriend I said as there was a knock on the door

Speaking of Ben that's him now. I said as i opened the door to see Ben holding to helmets

"For the first time, I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful." Ben said looking at me "I hope you like bikes"

I've never been on one so we will see. I said as I left with Ben to go on our date

Tell me something about yourself that you've never told anyone. Ben said as we walked across a bridge

Um... My middle name is Helga. I said

Helga? Ben asked

Yeah. Helga. Just my mom doing what she does best. Being really, really evil. Mckenna Helga. I said

Mine's Florian. Ben said

Florian? I asked

Yeah. Ben said

That's so princely. Oh, that's almost worse. I said

"I mean, you know, It's better than Helga. But it's still not..."Ben said as we walked on a rock path "watch your foot. Yeah. Are you good?"

Yeah I said

Soon we made it to the enchanted lake where Ben had a picnic waiting for us

Is this your first time? Ben asked as I was about to take a bite of what Ben called a jelly doughnut

Mm... We don't really date much on the island. It's more like... Gang activity. I said thinking that he meant going on a date

Um, I meant, is this your first time eating a jelly donut? I said looking at my mouth

Is it bad? I asked

You got a... Just a... I mean, here let me. Ben said wiping the jelly off the corner of my mouth

You can't take me anywhere, I guess. I said

You know, I've done all the talking. Your turn. I really don't know that much about you.

Well, I'm 16. I'm a twin. And I've only ever lived in one place. I said

Me, too well except from the twin thing. we have so much in common already. Ben said

No. Trust me, we do not. And now you're gonna be king. I said

Yeah. He said his smile not reaching his eyes

What? I asked

It kinda does. I said

"No, it... Your mother is mistress of evil and I've got the poster parents for goodness. But we're not automatically like them. We get to choose who we're gonna be. And right now, I can look into your eyes and I can tell you're not evil. I can see it." Ben said

Ben....I said

Let's go for a swim. Ben said

Hm? What? Uh... Right now? I asked

Yeah, right now. Ben said

I think I'm just gonna stay here. I didn't bring a bathing suit with me maybe next time and besides I wanted to try a strawberry. I've literally never tried a strawberry before. I said picking one up and taking a bite.

Mm! Mm...I said

Don't eat them all. Ben said

Okay. Ooh! Mm. Are those little crowns on your shorts? I asked seeing Ben in his boxer shorts

Maybe. Whoo! Ben said as he jumped into the water

As I watched him swim around I started to feel actual feelings for Ben and felt like I was being pulled to ways

After I finished singing I looked Around and I didn't see Ben anywhere

Ben? Ben? Ben! I yelled as I jumped into the water knowing good and well I couldn't swim

As I tried to stay afloat memories from when I was a baby started to resurface in bits and pieces

"Mckenna!" Ben said as he grabbed me out of the water "McKenna?"

Ben you scared me! I thought something happened to you. I said as Ben continued to look at me confused

Ben? Why are you looking at me like that? I asked as Ben motioned for me to look at myself in the lake

As I looked at my reflection in the lake I saw that my hair was no longer purple it was now brownish blonde and my eyes were hazel with golden specs

What the hell?!? What did that lake do to me I said

"It's an enchanted lake, it washes away any magic spells that were cast on a person." Ben said as I thought for moment then looked at Ben

Does that mean....I asked

Yes that love spell is long gone. But you didn't have to spell me to get me to like you. Ben said

I didn't? I asked

No because I already did. I just didn't know if you felt the same way. Ben said as I gave him a small smile

Now let go show you to fairy godmother and she can tell us why you were spelled Ben said as I nod.
