Kyoichi's pov

After talking with Taiga I felt a bit better. I decide to take a round on the track as Sho wasn't here yet. While I was riding on thunder emperor I saw a black fog ahead of me , I tried to dodge it but the fog covered me and everything turned black.

Time skip. . . .

I woke up in a unfamiliar place, still feeling dizzy, it feels like my body has been twisted and torn but I still managed to get up. That was the moment I realised it was snowing here, wait, snow! How is it possible? It's still summer right? I was so confused right now. I need to go back to Makoto, I thought. With that I started to move forward.

I've been walking for like an hour or so but still there's no sign of any life here. I fell on my knees panting. "Are you lost?", a voice came, I looked around and saw a cloaked figure leaning on a tree to my left, "y-yes", I managed to say, the person walked to me, the face was covered with the large hood of the cloak, the person held out thier hand to me, "come on its cold here", she said. From the voice I guess its a girl, I took her and hand and stood up.

She was walking a few steps ahead of me, it was a silent walk but the silence was soothing, the feeling was so family and yet so unknown, it was the same feeling I had when I use to go on long walks with her, my head started to get heavy again but before I could say anything my world turned black.

???'s pov

I head a loud thud behind me, I looked back and saw kyoichi fallen on the ground, I quickly went to him and touch his forehead, "he have a fever", I said aloud. There's no other way than to carry him, we can't stay here for too long. I let out a deep sigh and managed to get him on my back, after I was sure he won't fall I started to walk. After about 15 minutes we reached our destination. I placed him on the couch and ran to the kitchen to get a bowl of water and a small towel. I soaked the towel in water and placed it on his forehead, I just sat there looking at his face. It's been years since I last saw him, since we last talked, since I last saw him, his blonde hairs, those beautiful green eyes. I missed him, his soft touch, his warm hugs, everything. I was so lost in these thoughts that I didn't noticed tears slipping down my cheeks, I just let out a small chuckle " you made me cry Mr. Shido, now will you break your own bones", I said softy remembering the day in the park.

Flashback....

Me and kyoichi were walking along the bloomed Sakura trees, the walk was silent yet soothing, the most peaceful time we ever spent together. Suddenly kyoichi stopped and I turned back looking at him confused, "what's wrong kyoichi?", I asked but instead of answering he pulled me in a warm hug, " I'll never let you cry, I'll break the bones of the person who'll make you cry", he said out of the blue, I just stood there confused for a few seconds before I realised what he said. I can't help but laugh at this, "you'll do what", I said laughing out loud, " why are you laughing did I said something funny", he said crossing his arms, "I'm sorry okay, I just can't help it", I said wiping away the tears that came out because of laughing too much, he just turned his face the other side, " Aww... is Mr. Shido mad at me?", I said moving in front of him, he just stood there looking anywhere but at me, "you know..", I said wrapped my arms around his neck, "your girlfriend is really stong, she never cries", I added peaking his lips, he was blinked a few times clearly taken aback by my actions but then he wrapped his arms around my waist, " but still Miss Sakamaki, your boyfriend promises that if anyone ever makes you cry he'll break their bones", he said and I just giggled. He moved his face closer to mine, when our lips were just inches apart I bit his nose and he let go of me in reflex action, I took it as a chance to run away at a safe distance. "This girl can never even try to be romantic", he yelled running towards me. I started running too but he was faster than me so he easily caught me.

End of flashback...

I sighed standing up making my way to the kitchen to cook something for kyoichi. I removed my cloak and started cooking. After about 30 minutes I was done cooking so I went back to check on kyoichi. He was still unconscious so I just sat on the floor next to him holding his hand rubbing circles with my thumb on it. " How in the hell did you end up here?", I asked him forgetting the fact he can't hear me, " you can't even imagine how much I missed you each and every day but that doesn't means I wanted you to come here, this place is gonna get more dangerous soon and I don't want you to get involved in all this", I said looking at him, " I love you kyoichi and I don't want you get hurt, you shouldn't have came here", I said nearly crying ." What am I saying. He can't even hear me moreover he doesn't even know about this place so there's no chance he came here by his own", I said to myself hitting my head lightly.

I just sat there for some more time then I decided to get chanced as I don't know when I'll be able to come back, just as I got up I heard a low sound from kyoichi, I bent down again taking his hands in mine, he slowly opened his eyes blinking a few time, after a few seconds he opened his eyes properly looking at me shocked, "c-c-cera", he said in a low voice, " yup it's me ", I said smiling at him, he didn't say anything further just pulled me into a hug and I hugged back, " if this is some dream I never want it to end", he said still shocked, " it's not a dream kyoichi, I'm here for real", I said letting out a chuckle, "I thought I lost you forever", he said in a low voice, " me too", I said, there was a moment of silence when we spoke on the same time, "I missed you", we parted the hug and I gave him a smile, the most genuine one I had in all those years. I forgot ever pain, ever danger. I don't care about anything as long as I'm with him.

Kyoichi's pov

I still can't believe my eyes, it's her right in front of me, smiling like nothing happened. I missed her, her smile, the comfort I feel everytime I'm with her, everything. For a moment I forgot everything, all I want is to enjoy this moment with her, the moment I want to last forever. We just sat there looking in each other's eyes not saying anything, this soothing silence between us which says something words can't explain, I don't want it to end. "How did you came here?", She asked looking serious all of a sudden, I sighed before answer, "I don't know too. I was in the x-zone and I blacked out then woke up here", I said looking down. I was too confused right now. "Where were you all these years?", I asked looking in her eyes again, she hesitated for a moment before answering, " I was here all this time", she said smiling, a fake smile clearly. " And where are we exactly?", I asked further, she exhaled sharply before answering, " I know it's hard to believe but this place we're in right know is called X-zone. A different world from ours", she said sadly, " what do you mean a different world?", I asked confused, " I-", she stopped mid sentance looking at her hands, I followed her graze. She was.....fading, "Cera what's happening?", I asked worriedly, she just stood up turning around she grabbed the cloak hanging on the stand opposite to where we were, " I can't explain anything right now, I don't have much time. A man will come here soon, he'll explain everything", she said wearing the cloak, then coming back and sitting in front of me, "there's some food for you in the kitchen. Eat it and take the medicine on that table", she said pointing at the table next to the couch, " but cera-", she cut me mid sentance, " no kyoichi listen to me. There're things happening here and it's better for you not to know about then right now. All you have to do is go back home as soon as possible. The man will explain you everything. Ok", she said holding both my hands in hers. She's still fading, " I love you kyoichi. Please take care of yourself", she said with tears in her eyes ," I love you too Cera", I said. She just smiled tears slipping down her cheeks, I pulled my hands from her grip and extended them to wipe away the tears but she disappeared.

I was left here alone, confused with what just happened. I just met Cera after 2 years, it seemed like everything will go back to normal now but she disappeared, I pinched myself to insure it was all real, it was indeed true. Just as I was about to get up man with white cloak entered the house, he walked straight to the kitchen then came back to me. "Come and eat before it gets too cold", he said, I just nodded and walked to the kitchen.

Author's pov

Cera was back in the palace of her worst nightmare. The darkness here was so suffocating, it's something so impure. The cruel desire of a monster, she was a part of it and that's why she was here, in his palace.
