Cera's pov

What the hell is happening here....

People are running around and why is it so dark here... The X-tower... The X-tower is glowing? What just happened here? I have to do something. But my bike is still with him, I gritted my teeth, "what am I gonna do now!", I yelled in frustration. And without thinking I started running, towards the tower, as I passed the statue I noticed Taiga is not there anymore, maybe Kyoichi and others already found him and helped him, that's a relief, I smiled unknowingly before bumping into a large figure, "you can't go in kid", the man said stopping my way, " and who are you to stop me" , I said frowning, the rage that built up in me at it's limit. " I'm Gen and I can't let you go in. There are dangerous things going on in there", the man said, "ah my bad, I thought it would be great to have a picnic up there, looking at the circumstances", I said with my voice laced in sarcasm, "Please try to understand, we can't let you go in... and moreover Sho and other's will take care of everything, you don't need to go in",  a little girl said peaking from behind Gen. "But-", I tried to reason, my hands clenched in fists trying not to be rude to the man afterall he's just trying to save me for whatever is going on up there. Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see, "kiku", I said in a low voice, the girl looked at me with confusion and worry in her eyes, "Cera", she said and pulled me in a hug, "where have you been? Why did you leave that day like that? I was so worried", she started inquiring me, "I'm sorry Kiku, I didn't mean to make you worry about me, I just can't explain anything right now, there are things happening that you won't understand and it's better if you don't, I just need to get in there and help the other", I said patting her back.

Kiku smiled at me and took me to a nearby truck, "I guess you should take a look at this before going in there", she said opening the curtains. I looked at her confused, she just motioned me to get in and so I did. "I don't know how you Know Taiga Samejima, but you ran out of the house when I mentioned him, I guess you guys must be close", I can hear Kiku's voice behind me. I sat down beside him moving the stands of hairs covering his face before hugging the guys laying on the bed, "oh my, thank god you are ok", I said my voice cracking up a little, " I'm surely gonna punish Gabu once I get my hands on him", I added staying like that for what felt like hours totally forgetting about Kiku standing there. After a few minutes, I went back to Kiku, "He is in there right? Gabu?", I asked calmly, "yes, he is the one causing all this trouble", she said looking sad, "just what to expect from him, but what did he do this time?", I asked her and she explained everything from Gabu stealing the emblems Sho won to the awakening of X-tower and how they found Taiga and others went in to stop him.

"I'll go after him", I said and started making my way towards X-tower, this kid screwed up big times now. "But Cera", Kiku pleaded, worry clear in her voice. I turned around and flashed a smile to her, "don't worry I'll be alright", I assured her, ironically alright is the last thing I am right now. She looked at me hesitant, " I know I can't stop you but atleast take this", she said point at the mtb next to the truck. Taiga's bike, just what I needed. Thanking Kiku and mentally thanking Taiga dor his bike I was about to mount on the bike when a blast occurred up high on the tower, I hugged Kiku by instinct covering her, well the debris may not have reached us as the blast was not too intense and too high up but still... you know. "Get in the truck Kiku and Mr. Gen can please get these trucks moved back to a safe place and take everyone who are not needed here out of this area", I said in a loud voice for the said man to hear me, "things are getting messy around here", I added with a smirk.

I'm in the X-tower right now racing towards a way to get on the top as soon as possible. At first I thought I might get lost here but god bless the person who had a whole bunch of MTBs laying around, some broken, so just simply not moving. Damn!, I thought moving ahead. I just got up a few floors when, boom!, another blast made the whole building shiver. I gotta hurry up there.. the others may need help, I thought going faster. I was soon welcomed with a bunch of debris and I knew I was nearing my destination, soon I reached a completely destroyed path, I can hear the others, just a little more and Gabu is done for sure this time.
