Sudden update 😅😅😅. Actually enakku 7/6-10/6 midterm exam irukku so I can only update after finishing my exams (11/6). I need time to study, so this update is a compensation for that.

Vases Cassés (Broken Vases)

The dark shadowed penthouse's
passageways were deafeningly quiet. Since it was the highest floor of the
most luxurious hotel, only the sound of the wind could be heard. Despite the dawn light reaching the
sky, it was still gloomy and dismal in
the penthouse.

The broken vases and furnishings
bear witness to the wrath that
occurred yesterday night. The locked doors of the prayer room, which were adorned with golden
bells, indicate that it had not been
opened in two decades, pleading to be illuminated by the sun and radiate its sacredness.

Rooms were locked since no one
wanted to stay and to safeguard the
penthouse's lone residents from the
monster they had seen the night
before. 👹🌙 However, one door, which stood
majestically at the end of the dark
passage, was sealed from the outside
in order to contain the beast within. Behind the barred doors, the man
slept soundly, unconcerned about the mayhem 'he' had caused.

He frowned, as if he were having a
horrible dream. He was mumbling and sweating in an attempt to wake up, which he
succeeded in doing by jerking out of
his slumber and panting profusely. 😰 Due to a strong headache, he tightly
grabs his head.

Mind voices will be bolded.

Vikram(V): Ahhhh! Thala valikkudhe.😫 Yen en life mattum ipdi nimmadhiye illame irukku? 😢 Yen appa amma enna vittuttu poneenga? Enna paartha paavama illaya? 😭 Oru naalavadhu nimmadhiya vazha kuda mudiyadha oru unlucky person-ah naan irukkene. (he chuckled sadly) 😩

The door was gently opened,
indicating Bharathan's trepidation.
Due to the horrible event the night
before, he walked shaking and
terrified. He gazed at the marks on his brother's wrists created by the
handcuffs that were linked to the
nightstand as he placed the tray of
breakfast on top of the night stand. With remorse, Vikram glanced at his brother's terror.

V: Papu naan unne hurt panninena nethu? 😔

B: No. 😔

A: I threw a vase at him. But he dodged it. 😏

V: WHAT! 😱

Bharathan jerked to the scream.

V: Sorry sorry.

Bharathan released Vikram from his
handcuffs and provided him with the food and medication he required.

Bharathan headed towards the door
after saying that, and just as he was
ready to leave, he heard Vikram's
voice.

Arjun was bored out of his mind
because he had not received any
response from Vikram on what he
had said from the morning until
lunchtime. Vikram, on the other hand, was frustrated by Arjun's babbling
and tried his hardest not to engage in any discussion with his alter in order to get Arjun to stop talking. He had no idea that stopping Arjun from talking was impossible. 😅

A: Dey! Unakku naan ennada paavam pannen. 😢 Yenda vaaya thorandhu edhavadhu pesenda. Vaayile enna kozhukattaiyada vechirukke. Padupaavi bore adikkirane. 🤦‍♂

Vikram smirked internally, pleased
that he had finally managed to upset Arjun. 😏

V: Vinodh enne company-kku vara kudadhunu sollittan. He will definitely won't allow me.

V: Podhum podhum Shut Up. 🤫 Fine dining table-le lunch saapduvom. Ok.

Vikram emerged from his room, wearing his singlet. The situation was as
expected, with shattered items strewn around his penthouse as though a
riot had occurred the night before. He sighed and walked over to the
magnificent dining table, where his
brother Bharathan was cleaning the mess by himself.

Vikram was upset
that Bharathan had to handle
everything on his own because he
didn't appoint anyone to work at the
penthouse in order to keep his dark secret
hidden. 😔 Vikram approached Bharathan, who was gathering up broken glass
fragments.
