Le Crabe Rampe (Nandu Oorudhu)

Three luxurious cars were driving down the white-sand beach road as the rising moon cast its light on the night's water. The cars soon arrived at a breathtaking beach resort. The resort owner approached the foyer to greet the visitors who arrived in those luxury cars. Kailayanathan, Vikram, Dhuruvan, Bharathan, Alex, and Hayagrivan exited the vehicle.

They arrived discreetly so as not to attract unwelcome attention. After the welcome, they all had dinner and headed to their own rooms to end the day.

Vikram was standing on his room balcony, gazing at the moon over the sea horizon. He had mixed feelings over the choice he made a week ago. He has never seen the girl's photo or knows anything about her other that her name is Sailaja, and she works as a teacher in her hometown of Rameswaram.

He decided to sneak out of the resort to clear his head. He put on his hoodie and a face mask and got ready to exit his room.

Sam was pedalling the bicycle, Zurich was in front, and Sailaja was in the back, clutching three buckets to collect crabs. They quickly arrived at a secluded seaside spot with no people.

Sai: Indhanga ellarum poyi bucket neraya nandu porukkittu vaanga, naalaiki moonuvelaiyum nandudhan. 😋

Three of them began searching for crabs in different places with their torchlights. Sailaja was chasing crabs while wandering along the shore, enjoying the night wind.

Sai: Odadhe! 😁🏃‍♀️

🦀: 🤪🏃‍♂️

She successfully captured the crab.

Sai: Pidithuvitten! 😁

🦀: 😱

Sai: Nee un friends kooda bucket-le okkandhiru. 😁

She put the crab into her pail. Suddenly, her torchlight turned off.

Sai: Che! Indha torchlight vere indha nerathuledhan velaiye kaatudhu. Aiyo irutta irukke, ippo epdi naan nandu theduven? 🤪

🧔: Papa.

Sai: 🙄

She turned around and noticed a man standing close to her, but she couldn't see him clearly owing to the darkness.

🧔: Indha nerathule enna Papa panre? 😈

She sensed something was wrong, and she could smell alcohol on that man.

Vikram was wandering along the crashing waves as the cool breeze brushed against him. He felt himself becoming feel better as he enjoyed the night view of the coastline and the clear sky with the moon. He noticed a boat by the coast and decided to sit underneath it for a while.

After a while, he decided to return to the resort. As he was about to get up, he heard a voice from the opposite side of the boat.

Vik: Enna edho ponnu koralu ketkudhu? 🙄

Vikram sat back, listening to the voice.

Vik: Enna yaro aamblai voice ketkudhu? 🙄

Vikram heard a man's voice and noted something unusual about it: it was slurred, like a drunk's voice.

Vik: Yaaruda ivan? 🤨

He listened carefully to their conversation and soon understood the man's intentions for the girl.

Vik: Fucking Pervert! 😤

Vikram noticed a coconut tree's branch beside him on the sandy ground.

Vik: Mavane Sethada Nee! 😤

Vikram immediately grasped the tree branch and jumped up to take action.

Vik: 😤😳

Vikram witnessed the man approaching the girl, but she quickly ducked down and grabbed some sand, tossed it at the man's face.

🧔: Aaahhh Kannu! 😖

Vik: 😳

That girl took something from a pail near her, grasped the man's trousers, and dropped the thing into it.

Vik: 😳

🧔: 😖🤯 AAAHHH!!! Valikkidhe! 😱

That man began to shriek and squirm in pain, gripping his groyne. Vikram was too astonished to move because everything occurred in a flash.

Vik: 😳

When Vikram finally recovered from his shock, he watched the girl in the distance, escaping away with her bucket.

Vik: Yaaruda indha ponnu? 😳

Vikram approached the man who was still wailing and hopping.

🧔: Kapathunga! Kapathunga! Aiyo Valikkidhe! 😱

Vik: 🤨

Vikram threw a punch to the man's face, knocking him down.

🧔: 💀

Vik: 😒

Vikram burst out laughing as he noticed a crab escaping from the man's pants.

Vik: 🤣

He giggled as he looked in the distance, expecting to see the girl again. But, to his grief, the girl was not around. A rush of sadness washed over him as he acknowledged he couldn't see the girl's face fully owing to the darkness and just heard her charming voice.

Vik: Che, konjam munnadi vandhurundha moonje paarthurukalam. 😏

As Vikram prepared to go away, he noticed something shining on the sand.

Vik: Ennadhidhu? 🧐

He knelt down and took the shining object. It was a necklace with a pendant.

Vik: S-ah? Oh, un initial S-ah? 😄

He sighed as he slipped the necklace into his pocket and began to return to the resort.

Sam: Naan poyi paarkata? 😬

They noticed Sailaja running towards them.

Zur: Yen Thalaivi ivlo neram? 🤪

Sai: Oru periya nandu pretchanai pannichi adhan oru kai paarthutu vandhen. 😅

Sam: Time achi seekram vaanga thirumbi pogalam. 🤪
