BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP

The sound startle me. It was loud. I wanted to run from it, but my body felt uncomfortable. I could not feel my legs. I tried to move, but it was no use. A faint humming noice was the other sound I hear. The world was dark. I felt cold like I was a block of ice. Then the humming got louder and louder. Soon I could make out some words.

"Her body heat is low." Said a deep voice.

Something as soft as snow but yet warm as the sun, was place on me. I tried to open my eyes, bright white lights blinded me. There was a ringing noice in my head. I was on a comfy white bed with metal railings. There were machine hooked up to me. I started to cough.
"She having a hard time getting her breath. Let's place her on oxygen." Said the deep voice.

Something was place over my mouth. All I could still see was blinding white lights. Soon I could not keep my eyes open. The darkness welcome me again.

I do not know how long I stayed in the darkness but after sometime my ears heard something.

"Pix, can you hear me? Please wake up. The Dr. Brock says if you do not show sign of improvement soon, you will not make it. Please I can not lose someone else." A voice as sweet as honey said.

Something in me wanted to make this voice happy. I put all my might in to opening my eyes. Soon bright white light filled my eye sight. I tried to focus on a figure in front on me. It was that girl from the beach. The girl face's lite up.
"Pix, your awake!" The girl said. She got up and went to the door and called, "Brock, she is awake!"

A man with dark skin came in. "Hello, Pix. My name is Brock. I am going to check you over to see how you are doing." Said Brock.
As Brock came over to me. I was okay with him at first but something inside of me yelled in me not to trust him. I tried to used a moved to warned him away. But I did not have at strength to do it.

"Pix, it is okay. I will not hurt you." Said Brock.

I tried to look tough but soon my strength gave out. I glared at Brock as he came over to give me a check up.

"She seems to be healing well. I think we can take her off theses machines. And see how she does." Said Brock. As he did that, my stomach started grumbling.

"I think someone is hungry." Said Brock. "Reign can you go make her some mash berries and herbs. Use the recipe I showed you the other night."

So Reign is the girl's name. I thought.

Reign left the room. Brock started checking the bandage on one of my legs. That was when I saw that that leg was gone. All that was left was a stump. My eyes,turn wide with the realization that I had lost a leg. Now no one will want me. I started to cried, Brock came over and gentle stroke my head.
"It will be okay Pix. You will get used to not having that leg." Said Brock.

Reign came in the room. She stopped when she saw me crying, "Pix, what is wrong?"

"I think she is upset over her lost leg." Said Brock.

Reign came over and gave me a hug. Then she place me back on the bed. She offered me the bowl of food. My stomach was growling loud by now. I took a cautious bite of food, my mouth exploded with the rich flavor. I soon was licking the bowl clean. Reign's laughter made me look up.
"Pix, your face is a mess!" Reign said laughing. It made me feel good to hear her laugh. I wanted to keep her laughing like that.

Soon a wave of exhaustion overtook me. My eyelids felt heavy but I wanted to keep Reign laughing. I let out a great big yawn. Reign looked at me with big blue eyes saw my sleepiness and she  soon covered me up  with a warn blanket and turned off the lights.

Soon as I fell asleep a terrible dream hit me. I was lost in the ocean waves tossing and turning taking in water by the lung full. Then I was in the woods by the owners house as he beat my mother. And  hurled toss me in the  ragging river. Quivered and shook and yelped in my dream. When I woke it was midnight I stayed awake for many hours before finally falling back asleep. Into a dream asleep.

Sorry this chapter took so long to come out. I have been very busy. Please vote on who will be Reign next pokemon.
