Areadite: the one who started the  100 century war.

Areadite: all records are sealed for that one.

Nazuya : ... Maybe I am , asking the wrong being. Time to look up that guy.

Nazuya ; Athelian.

Athelian : Nazuya. First, your mother comes to me and till now she owes my organisation a favour. Now , you're at my door. Tell me its not about The Archives I'm managing.

Nazuya: .... It's not ?

Athelian : sighs. Coffee !

" Yes sir. " A servant brings up the coffee for two.

Athelian : if this is about the sealed records , no.

Nazuya : Athelian.

Athelian ; no. No deal you make me will make me reveal the sealed records. That's one thing The Archives Master will not do.

Nazuya : even a favour ?

Athelian; no. They are sealed for a reason. Sealed not because I decided so. But because The Archives Master decided so. The Archives Master of that generation decided it would be such a disastrous information to give out. So it won't be given.

" Sure. " Athelian opens his palm and a scroll appears " there you go. "

Nazuya takes it and unscrolls it, she immediately recognises a name " Demon Viera ? "

" Fine. " And nazuya leaves.

Athelian ; nasty. Unlike her mother Nanalise. Nanalise was at least fun to play with. Can we bar her from The Archives?

Nazuya: Grandmom. I've something to ask you.

Viera: hi Nazuya. What's the matter ?

Viera ; well... Your grand dad never took part of it.

Nazuya : no ?

Viera ; many beings died in that war. There were two sides in that war. Not about right or wrong. Just only about which party you were loyal to. Your father's clan were able to keep out of it.

Viera: no. I was a commander in that war. It's been very very very long anyone even talked about this war. Barely any of us left now, the ones who participated in the war. My whole family... Only I am left at the end of that dumb war.

Nazuya : I'm sorry. Grand mom.

Viera : the war ended. I have no where to go. They wanted to give me an army to manage. Reward my efforts I guess. I didn't want to. I'm tired of it... .... I had thought of taking my life once. Funny isn't it ? A demon wanting to take suicide.

Nazuya : grandma. You just felt alone.

Viera: but kageya found me as I tried to take my life. Funny guy then I thought he was.

Flashback ~

Viera : you saved me ?

Kageya : humans take their life and I always thought it was stupid. No matter how bitter, there's always a way out. It will never always be that bitter.

Viera ; that's a lie. You can , always be that bitter.

Kageya: what can be that bitter?

Viera ; alone. Hands too full of blood. No reason to live.

Kageya : They gave you a job, didn't they ? You rejected it.

Viera : that's not a reason to live. That's... A reminder of what already happened.

Kageya : hmm... I see. Then , what if I give you one ?

She laughed " a god giving a demon a reason to live. You want me to be your servant ?  I'm not below you. "

Kageya : I didn't say you are.

Viera : then...

Kageya : go with me to work tomorrow. See humans and their lives. Perhaps you'll find it... Interesting? Enlightening?

So I did. I went to work with him. I helped him to record the human's lives. The punishments he doled out as a fair judge.

Helped him to make sure everything worked well in his work. Dusted his place. Cooked for him.

I guess for a period of time , I was ok being his caretaker.

Then it was time for me to wake up from this mundane dream I guess. His parents arranged a marriage for him.

It was time for me to bid goodbye and thank him for saving my life.I guess I wasn't meant to stay here for long even though I wished too.

Viera : congratulations.

Kageya ; what ?

Viera: your marriage... The girl... Pretty ?

Kageya ; ok. Haven't seen her.

Viera: sighs. Go see her. What if you don't like her ? You can still reject before you marry her.

Kageya : you'll leave right ?

Her tears fell down her cheeks " do you know what you're talking about ? "

Kageya: I can make my own decisions. Is that a yes ?

Viera : The being who started the war.

Nazuya : .... The Five Cloaks was released 7 years ago. Could it be the same being ?

Viera ; five different brings sealed them. Same level beings can release them.

Nazuya : .... Ok. You really can't tell me more ?

Viera ; no I can't. Nazuya. And even if you tried looking for those who participated in the war , no one will tell you.
