I head downstairs, finding Kawaii~chan running out the door with Crystal.

Aaron and Aphmau must be going out.

I rub my eyelids with my closed fists, yawning as I descend down the stairs.

I'm glad that at least Aaron could get her out of the house.

It's not been a good year for Aphmau.

Kawaii~chan and I have been living with her since...Well, there's no easy way to say it, since her mother passed away from brain cancer.

Jesus, brain cancer. As shitty as it gets.

Aphmau...she hasn't been handling it well, as to be expected. However, she's managed to keep a steady job. Somehow, someway.

Dad's also been pretty depressed, apparently they were dating and didn't tell me.

I feel better because at least Aphmau is doing better.

She smiles again.

Though I can, and we can all see in her eyes, so much pain.

It seems as if Aaron has comforted her the most though.

She smiles the most when he is around.

Everyone can tell she likes him, and that he likes her.....

We just don't know why they haven't dated yet.....

I mean look at Sylvana.....she was young....and yet she still......

I shake my head of the thought then go into the kitchen, trying to scavenge the room for any remnants of food.

Then the house phone rings, so I walk over there and pluck the device in my hand and answer the call.

"Pardon me, is this Ms. Aphmau Phoenix?" The caller asks.

"No, but I can take a message."

"Okay, this is Dr. Generic Last Name, and I just wanted to talk to Ms. Phoenix about her PET scans"

"Wait what?" Fear starts raising in my chest.

PET scans.......

Why would she need to get PET scans.....

Oh no.....
