My third year passed by quickly. I had stopped taking to almost all of my friends except for Lily and Severus. Sirius and the others tried to get me to talk to them, but it was just to hard.

"Come on you have to talk to them some day." Lily said softly.

"No she doesn't. If she doesn't want to talk to them she doesn't have to." Severus said calmly.

"Listen I'll talk to them when I feel like talking to them. Right now...... I just don't feel the need to. I'm done talking about this..... I'm going to class." I said as I walked away.

It wasn't long after that conversation that our fourth year ended and our fifth began and it had already started off bad.

"He said what to you?" I asked shocked.

"He called me a mud blood." She said as tears streamed down her face.

"I am so sorry Lily. I'll talk to him, I'm sure it was a mistake." I said softly.

"No! I don't want to see him for as long as I live!" She snapped as she ran up the stairs.

I let out a sigh and pulled my knees to my chest. I felt someone plop down beside me and I turned my head to see Remus.

"Morning." He said softly.

"Morning." I said softly.

"She speaks! It's a miracle!" He exclaimed shocked.

"Well if you're going to act like that I'll stop speaking." I said with a smirk.

"Please don't...... I've missed talking to you." He said softly.

"I've missed you guys to, and don't tell James or Sirius, but I missed them." I whispered.

He made a zipping sound and then threw away his imaginary key.

"So..... want to study with me sometime?" He asked softly.

"Yea, and I guess I'll see you on Prefect Duty."

"You became a prefect? I'm surprised.... I didn't think they let the bad kids be one." He said with a smile.

"I know, I mean what was Dumbledore thinking when he made you a prefect?" I asked with a laugh.

"Real cute!" He yelled as I walked away.

After awhile everything was almost back to normal, well everything except for Lily and Severus' friendship.

"Lily come on I know you're mad at him, but you have to understand he was upset." I said softly.

"That doesn't mean he should of said it." She said angrily.

I let out a sigh as I laid back on the couch and waited for lunch time. When it was time for lunch I set beside Remus and smiled as we talked.

"Wait! My Alana is talking to Moony and not me!" Sirius gasped.

"Calm down Padfoot." James said with a laugh.

"Padfoot? Moony?" I asked with a laugh.

"Prongs I will not calm down! My future wife has betrayed me!" Sirius exclaimed.

"Prongs? Oh please tell me Peter's name." I begged.

"Wormtail." Remus said with a smile.

I burst out laughing and Remus sent me a smile.

"I can't..... that is just.... that is perfect." I said with a smile.

"Wanna know my nickname for you?" Remus asked with a smile.

"Definitely."

"Beautiful." He said softly.

I felt a blush appear on my face and he sent me a smile.

"Now your just being mean." I said as I nudged his shoulder.

"Yea Yea! Alright how about....... Kitty?" He asked with a smirk.

"I'll take it..... Moony." I said with a smile.

He sent me a smile and I smiled as he shook his head. Soon lunch was over and I had Perfect duty wit hRemus. We walked down the hallways and made our way to the potions room.

"So Lily still not talking to Severus?" He asked calmly.

"Not even looking at him." I said softly.

"Wow, She must really be mad." He said shocked.

"She is planning his murder as we speak. So, heard Sirius has a girlfriend."

"Which one? He has been dating almost three girls at the same time." He said annoyed.

"And he still thinks I'm going to go out with him? Wow he is a idiot, I mean you have a better chance then him." I said calmly.

"Hopefully he will give up someday." He said softly.

"Yea, hopefully."

After we finished our rounds I let out a sigh and went to bed. I plopped down on the bed and stared at the ceiling before I pulled the locket out of my shirt.

"You really love tormenting me don't you Grandma Elizabeth?" I asked softly.

I put it away and rolled over on my side and closed my eyes.

I laughed as I walked beside Remus through the hallway. Lily and James had been named Head Girl and Head Boy.

"How is it even possible?" I asked with a laugh.

"I don't know. I mean James is a horrible student and isn't even a Prefect." Remus said with a laugh.

"Maybe it was a mistake, or maybe he bribed Dumbledore with Jelly Beans."

"Second one sounds about right."

I laughed as we continued our rounds and then we made it to the potions room. I opened the door and walked inside to check the room. I soon turned around and came face to face with Remus.

"Alana.... I have to tell you something." Remus said softly.

"What is it?" I asked confused.

"I.... well..... you see I... screw it." He said as he shook his head.

He started to lean down and I closed my eyes.

When I opened my eyes it was morning. I let out a groan and hit my head with the pillow.

"What was he going to say and what was he going to do?" I asked annoyed.

I froze as I moved the pillow away and looked at the ceiling.

"Oh god...... I'm in love with Remus." I said as my eyes went wide.

"What!" Lily screamed shocked.

I looked over at her and she stared at me shocked.

"Damn it." I said with a groan.
