After awhile I started to realize that something was wrong with Remus. He had started to leave and go visit a sick relative almost every month.

"Okay so what's going on with you?" I asked as I took a sip of water.

"What do you mean?" Remus asked confused.

"You keep leaving every month for a week to visit a sick relative...... either you're lying or they have something seriously wrong."

"My aunt.... she is just sick. That's all." He said as he looked away.

"Come on Remus, we are friends. Whatever it is I won't judge you." I said softly.

"My aunt is sick that is all it is. I have to go, Sirius needs my help with his homework." He said as he grabbed his books and walked away.

I let out a sigh as I leaned back in my chair and shook my head. After I finished my homework I left and went to the commons room. I smiled as I saw Lily sitting on the couch.

"Hey." I said as I set beside her.

"What's up?" She asked as she looked over at me.

"Nothing much..... trying to figure out what is going on with Remus. He won't tell me anything." I said annoyed.

"Maybe he can't. I'm sure whatever it is Remus will tell you some day. Oh and Hagrid wanted to know if we were still having tea this afternoon."

"Always. I love his tea, it's the best." I said happily.

"Alright, you want to go ahead and visit him?"

"Yea.... I actually have a question for him." I said as I grabbed my bag.

I walked with Lily to Hagrid's hut, soon we made it inside and I sent him a smile as we set down.

"I'm happy you two could join me!" He exclaimed happily.

"We would never miss tea with you." Lily said happily.

"Hey Hagrid I found this last year and I was wondering.... who is she?" I asked as I handed the locket to him.

He looked at the locket and then opened it.

"I've never met her. McGonagall or Dumbledore might." He said as he gave it back to me.

"Thank you. So do you know why Remus leaves every month?" I asked calmly.

"Remus Lupin? No..... Dumbledore said he was a special case, but didn't say why."

"Lana you really need to let it go." Lily said softly.

"Alright..... I'll let it go.... but I'm just worried about him okay." I said a so let out a sigh.

Hagrid handed me a cup and I sent him a small smile.

"Look I'm sure that when he thinks you need to know he will tell you." Hagrid said as he patted my shoulder.

I sent him a small smile and nodded my head before I took a sip of my tea.

"I love your tea." I said softly.

He let out a laugh as he shook his head and set down in front of us.

"So how are classes going?" He asked calmly.

"They are great. Well except for James still trying to get with me." Lily said with a smile.

"And Sirius trying to get with me." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Boys will be boys." Hagrid said with a chuckle.

"Oh we know. So you think you'll ever get your wand back?" I asked softly.

"I hope so..... I really do." Hagrid said softly.

"I'm sure you will. I mean you are the kindest person I know and you deserve it." I said softly.

He sent me a smile and then let out a sigh.

"Looks like you need to get back to the school. You have to go to bed."

"We will see you next week." I said with a smile.

We left and I let out a sigh as I walked to my room and plopped down on the bed. I held the necklace in my hand and then closed it. I rolled over on my side and let out a sigh as I fell asleep.

I was in my house sitting in front of the fireplace, reading my favorite book. I smiled as Gregory cuddled up to me and I started to read it out loud.

"What are you reading?" Mom asked as she walked into the room.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them." I said with a smile.

"Newt will be proud." She said with a laugh.

Soon I heard a loud sound and mom turned around and pulled out her wand.

"Who is there!" She yelled.

When no one replied she sent me a look and I nodded my head as I picked up Gregory and rushed into our closet. I moved my hand to my lip and whispered that we where playing a game.

"Jane Scamander. A very powerful witch.... half blood witch." A voice said.

"Who are you?" Mom asked calmly.

"A friend."

I looked through the crack in the door and watched a man walk towards my mother. I covered Gregory's eyes and mouth.

"I've come to give you a proposition. I will spare you and your family as long as you give your daughter to me."

"Never. Expelliarmus!" My mother yelled as she draw her wand.

He blocked the attack and my eyes went wide as he pointed his wand at my mother.

"Avada Kedavra!"

I saw a green light and I closed my eyes as I heard her drop. I peaked through the crack into door and covered my mouth as I saw my mother's body on the ground.

"No!" I screamed as I shot up out of bed.

I looked around and saw I was in my room. Soon McGonagall rushes up to our room and I felt tears stream down my face as I pulled my legs to my chest.

"What happen?" She asked as she looked around.

"Alana had a nightmare." Lily said as she hugged me.

"I see..... everyone get back to bed. Alana how about you come with me and I make you some tea." McGonagall said softly.

I nodded my head and followed her to her office. I set in front of her and she handed me a cup of tea.

"What was the nightmare about?" She asked softly.

"My mother.... she was killed.... by some man...... I was stuck in a closet with Gregory... and I watched her die." I said as whipped my eyes.

"It was just a nightmare. I promise she is safe at home." She said softly.

"Can I ask you something.... I found this locket... and I was wondering who is this woman?" I asked as I handed it to her.

I saw a small smile appear on her face as she opened it.

"This is Liz..... well Elizabeth Scamander.... your grandmother." She said softly.
