After awhile the first year had ended and we all started to leave for Christmas break. I let out a sigh as I set beside Lily and listened to her talk about her plans.

"So what do you have planned?" Lily asked softly.

"I'm going to my Uncle's house. Spending Christmas with him and my family. What about you Severus?" I asked softly.

"Well I am spending Christmas with my parents. Nothing real big." He said calmly.

"One of these years we should all meet up and have Christmas together." I said with a smile.

"Definitely. Are you in Sev?" Lily asked happily.

"Always." He said with a smile.

Soon we arrived at the platform, and I got off to see my Aunty Leta.

"Aunty Leta!" I exclaimed as I ran up and hugged her.

"There is my big girl!" She said as she hugged me tightly.

"I missed you so much. Is Uncle Theseus here?" I asked as I looked around.

"No, He is already at Newts." She said softly.

"Well let's get going." I said happily.

I waved goodbye to Lily and Severus and then we started to the car. Aunty Leta held her arm around me as we walked.

"Leta Scamander." A voice said.

I turned to see a woman beside Sirius and another boy.

"Walburga Black. I heard your son was in Hogwarts." Leta said with a smile.

"And I heard your niece was starting as well."

"Yes this is Alana."

"A pleasure ma'am." I said with a small bow.

"She has manners. Thanks fully she isn't as bad as her parents." Mrs. Black said with a smirk.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked angrily.

"I mean that your parents are rude and ungrateful people." She said calmly.

"Alana... don't." Leta whispered as she squeezed my shoulder.

I looked down at the ground and I saw Mrs. Black smile.

"I see you raised her right."

"Yes, and I raised my nephew right as well, so watch what you say about him and his wife. Or I won't be so kind next time." Leta said as we walked away.

I let out a sigh as we made it to Uncle Newt's and I rushed into the house.

"There is my Phoenix!" Uncle Newt said cheerfully.

I laughed as he picked me up and spun me around.

"Hey it's my favorite cousin!" A voice said cheerfully.

I smiled as I turned around to see Scorpio. He picked me up and put me over his shoulder and spun around.

"Put me down you git!" I yelled with a laugh.

"I see my favorite kid is here." Another voice said.

"Uncle Theseus!" I exclaimed as I got out of Scorpio's arms and ran up to Theseus.

I hugged him and he let out a laugh as he kissed my cheek.

"I missed you gum-ball." He said as he put me down.

"Is he here?" I asked softly.

He looked over at Newt and when Newt shook his head Theseus let go of me and Newt walked up to me.

"I'll take you to him." He said softly.

Soon we walked away from everyone and I bit my lip as we made it to the basement and a locked door.

"Look he wasn't really big on staying here and he asked not to see you.... but I know you can cheer him up." He did softly.

I nodded my head and he unlocked the door. I walked inside and slowly closed the door.

"Who is there?" A voice asked.

I turned and watched as a man walked out of the shadows. He had red hair and blue eyes he was in a torn up shirt and pants.

"Thomas? It's me.... Alana." I said softly.

"I told them not to let you in here." He said sharply.

"I wanted to see you..... Thomas please don't push me away." I said sadly.

"Why? I'm trying to protect you! Don't you understand?" He asked angrily.

"No I don't! You would never hurt me. Your my big brother and I trust you." I said as I walked towards him.

"I'm a monster! Don't you understand that? I can't control it.... when it hits a full moon I'm not your big brother anymore.... I'm a werewolf."

"I know that and I understand it is hard-"

"You don't know anything about what I'm going through!" He snapped angrily.

"Then tell me! Please Thomas I.... want to be there for you." I said through tears.

"You can't.... because.... I'll hurt you and I could never forgive myself if I accidentally turned you into a monster." He said as he walked away.

I ran out of the room and past Newt. I heard him let out a sigh as I rushed out of the house and past everyone. I made it to the swings outside. I set down on them and felt tears stream down my face.

"He just wants to keep you safe." A voice said.

I whipped my eyes and turned my head to see Tina. She set down beside me and I held onto the swing.

"He is scared of being a werewolf.... scared that he will hurt you.... or that he will hurt Gregory." She said softly.

"I miss him.... we were so close and now I feel so alone." I said sadly.

"I know.... did I ever tell you about what happen to Aunty Queenie?" She asked softly.

"No.... what happen?" I asked softly.

"She was in love with a muggle, Uncle Jacob. And she was so scared of losing him she joined Gellert Grindelwald."

"But she became good again."

"Yes... and she married Jacob and they had Melody and Eric. Jacob passed away three years ago, but we all are happy we got to spend time with him." She said softly.

"Is that why Aunt Queenie is always so sad? Because she hated hurting you?"

"Yea. She didn't really talk or even hug any of us for awhile. Listen, Thomas loves you so much and it is scary not being in control of yourself.... especially when your family is involved."

I nodded my head and she sent me a small smile before we left to go back inside the house.
