As the year went by Sirius and his friends had made it their life goal to help James Potter get with Lily.

"Come on.... Please!.... please!...." Sirius begged as he followed behind me.

"For the last time, I am not telling Lily to date your friend, and I am not dating you." I said annoyed.

"Come on! Help my mate out. He is a great guy and he likes her a lot." He said as he grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Listen Siri..... I'm sure James is a nice fella, but Lily will never like him.... so just give up." I said as I took my arm back and walked away.

"Never! I won't give up! And I won't give up on us!" Sirius yelled after me.

I shook my head and let out a sigh as I continued to walk through the halls. I made my way to the library and frowned as I looked around and tried to find Severus and Lily. I smiled as I found them at a table and I set beside Severus.

"Hello handsome." I said with a laugh.

"Hello annoying." Severus said with a smirk.

"You hurt me." I said as I winked at him.

He rolled his eyes and I smiled as I stood up and left to grab a book off the shelf. I reached for Fantastic Beast's and Where to Find Them and my hand bumped against someone else's. I turned to see a boy quickly move his hand away and I sent him a smile before I handed it to him.

"Here I've already read this like a billion times." I said with a smile.

"Thanks.... if you like books like this there is a book called Magical Creatures." He said softly.

"Thanks I might read it some time. I'm Alana Scamander." I said with a smile.

"Remus.... Remus Lupin." He said softly.

"Your Sirius' friend right?" I asked softly.

"Sadly." He said with a laugh.

"Know the feeling."I said as I looked back at my table.

"Yea Snivellus can be like that."

"Snivellus? I'll remember that when he makes me mad." I said as I burst out laughing.

"Yea and just so you know when Sirius makes me mad I call him Siri. He hates it." Remus whispered with a wink.

I laughed as I shook my head and I walked back to my table. I plopped down beside Severus and pulled out a book.

"What did Lupin want?" Severus asked calmly.

"Oh he was just telling me about a good book." I said with a smile.

I looked up and secretly waved to him as he was dragged out by his friends. After awhile I became friends with Remus and we spent our friendship in the library away from his crazy friends.

"Wait so that was you guys?" I asked with a laugh.

"Yep. Sirius thought that it would be hilarious to lock Mrs. Norris in the dungeon for two days." He said shaking his head.

"Oh my Merlin! Filch was so worried! He nearly went insane without her. It was hilarious."

"You should of seem how mad Filch was when he found out. He nearly hung us from the ceiling by our toes."

"Now that would be funny." I said with a smirk.

"Well aren't you such a good friend." He said as he gently pushed me a little.

I laughed and he shook his head as he smiled softly and then picked his book up.

"Still reading Fantastic Beast and Where to Find them?" I asked with a smirk.

"Yea.... it's actually really good. Better than the one I told you about." He said with a smile.

"Yea.... Uncle Newt is really good about writing books." I said with a smile.

"Newt Scamander is your uncle?" He asked shocked.

"Great uncle."

"That's amazing. I heard he is one of the most talented wizards of his time."

"He likes to think that. Him and Aunty Tina both have a zoo, I go there on my breaks. Maybe someday I can take you with me." I said with a smile.

"I'd like that." He said softly.

Soon I heard the library door open and I let out a groan as Sirius and the others walked into the room.

"Remus we need your help." James said cheerfully.

"We have a fool proof plan to get Lily and Alana." Sirius said happily.

"Good luck." I said as I put my book down.

Sirius let out a shocked gasp and I shook my head as I let out a laugh.

"Don't tell me Remus stoke you from me! What about the mate code?" Sirius asked as he held his hand over his heart.

"Other side, and I didn't steal her from you. We are just friends reading together. Not like I'm trying to ask her out you Git." Remus said as he shook his head.

"Well this has been entertaining, but I have home work to catch up on..... I'll see you around Remus. Good to see you Peter. Get detention James and Sirius." I said as I passed by them.

"See you later Lana." Remus said with a smile.

"They have nicknames!"

"Quiet!" Madam Pince snapped

I laughed as I made it out of the library and shook my head as I walked back to the commons room. I made my way up to my room and smiled as I plopped down on my bed.

"Have a fun study date?" Lily asked with a smirk.

"Wasn't a date and I did have fun. I'm going to finish my homework and then pass out." I said with a smile.

"Alright." She said as she rolled over and went to bed.

After awhile I had got half of it down and I was becoming exhausted.

"Well maybe I'll get up early and I can finish it." I whispered as I put it away and plopped down on the bed.

I closed my eyes and smiled as I went to bed.

"You don't know anything about what I'm going through!" A man snapped angrily.

"Then tell me! Please Thomas I.... want to be there for you." I said through tears.

"You can't.... because.... I'll hurt you and I could never forgive myself if I accidentally turned you into a monster." He said as he walked away.
