The days passed by in a blur. I kept on going in and out of consciousness. I remember bits and pieces, like the doctor talking to my parents, Kenzie, Liv and Kat sitting at the foot of my bed,

Will's voice begging me to wake up.

This time, I actually woke up. My throat was as dry as sandpaper, my breath tasted awful. Ugh, it was even worse than morning breath. My body was painfully sore and I knew, no amount of cat-like stretching would help my unfortunate muscles.

The light of the room almost blinded me, but soon my eyes adjusted to it. I was about to raise my hand to rub my eyes when I felt a weight on it.

I looked down to see Will's head resting on my hand. He had a light stubble on his face, indicating he hadn't shaved in a while. His forehead wrinkled as he frowned in his sleep. His hand rested on my wrist as he mumbled my name in his sleep.

Awwww. Fuck it, I don't want a puppy, this boy is too cute.

I put my hand on his head, running it through his soft hair.

He sighed contently in his sleep, the lines on his forehead disappeared and a small boyish smile appeared on his face.

"I love you Harp", Will mumbled dreamily.

I can already see my death certificate.

Patient's name: Harper Charlotte Jones

Cause of death: Cuteness Overload

"I love you too", I whispered.

Will's eyes shot open.

"You're awake", he muttered, stunned.

"Yeah, took a long refreshing nap", I chuckled.

Before I knew it, Will engulfed me in his arms, wrapping them tightly around me. He smelled like a hospital, well it's obvious he hadn't gone home in a while.

His body vibrated as he sniffled.

"I thought I lost you", his voice was heavy with tears.

A handsome boy crying in my arms. Oh what the fuck, my life is beautiful.

"You aren't that lucky, I'm not going to stop annoying you for a long time, William", I chuckled, hugging him back.

He pulled away and stared deeply into my eyes while
caressing my face with his thumb.

"Annoy me all you want, for as long as you want, just please don't ever leave me and don't sc are me like that again",

"I won't", I brushed away a tear from his cheek, "I promise",

He leaned into kiss me, but I dodged it, kissing him on the cheek instead.

"Trust me when I say you don't want to kiss me unless you want to know what a garbage can tastes like", I held him at an arm's length.

He chuckled, giving me a kiss on the forehead instead.

"How long was I out?",

"About two weeks", he sat down next to me.

"And how bad is it? Did I lose something? Leg? Finger? Spleen? Oh wait, do I have scars? I've always wanted a battle scar",

"No, you don't captain hook wannabe",

"Argh!", I held up my fist like a hook, pounding it in the air as both of us laughed.

"But you do have burns on your shoulders and back, but they'll heal soon enough",

"That's actually a good thing, new skin, without any scars, I'll start fresh",

"And I'll be standing behind you with a banner, cheering you on", he kissed my nose, "I missed you Harp",

"I missed you William", I said as he hugged me tightly.

I clung onto him, inhaling his scent and hearing his heart beat steadily against his chest.

I felt safe and sound.

The next few hours were a complete mess. When Will called everyone and told them I was awake, they rushed to the hospital in a frenzy.

Liv and Kenzie hugged me and sobbed while swearing to kill Tanya and Courtney, who I had heard had been sent away to a mental institution abroad to get treatment for a mental illness that they had been diagnosed with.

Well turns out they actually were psychopaths.

Kat cried and punched my shoulder, making me promise never to drive again. She had also stolen my license and keys.

If I wasn't aching and sore, I'd probably strangle that little demon.

Mom and Dad looked relieved as they squeezed the life out of me.

Cody, Daniel and Bubba were just being total drama queens as they reenacted my accident with sound effects and all. But I could tell they were trying to cheer everyone up a bit.

Levi promised to tell me all the things everyone did to try and wake me up, including shaking me taking turns, telling me jokes and also putting my favorite food near my face.

Callie just kissed my forehead and welcomed me back.

ANDD the by far the least dramatic reaction award goes to....my boyfriend's mother!

Once everyone had gone home after the nurse told them it was becoming crowded. Will, Kenzie, Liv, Daniel and Cody were the only ones left.

"Where's Mason?", I asked.

"I don't know, he said he'd be here", Liv said.

As if on cue, the door opened and Mason stepped in.

He walked upto me, giving me a bear hug, "We missed you Harper",

"I missed you guys too, why were you so late?", I asked, pulling away.

"I had to drag someone along", he gestured to the doorway and to Chelsea standing there, staring down at her feet.

"Aw hell nah", Liv and Kenzie stood in front of me protectively.

"Guys just give her a chance to explain", Mason pleaded.

"How do we know she isn't as crazy as her friends?", Kenzie growled.

"Because they were never my friends", Chelsea said.

She looked so different. She was wearing a simple oversized grey knit full sleeved sweater with a pair of black leggings. She had no makeup on, her eyes were red and puffy and her hair was tied up in a bun.

I almost didn't recognize her. But she was actually gorgeous.

"Guys, it's ok", I assured them, "Come in and sit down, you can say what you want to", I smiled at Chelsea who gingerly stepped in and sat down beside me.

"When they first took me in, I was drugged at a party and raped by a senior who had a girlfriend", she started, "I thought it was all my fault and they told me it was, they threatened to tell everyone that I was a relationship wrecker and I was terrified so I agreed to be a part of their clique",

"I had a crush on Will and they promised to help me get him, then we saw the relationship you had with him and they told me that you would steal him away from me and they made me hate you and convinced me to bully you",

"I hated the idea but they threatened to tell everyone about that incident and I was so terrified, I didn't even realize when they had turned me into a monster, they called me that night and told me to join them in making you pay, I refused at first but then I changed my mind and decided to meet them at the address where I saw Tanya walking away from your car",

"Once they left, I knew the car would explode any second so I pulled you out as fast as I could, ending up with these", she pulled her sleeve up to reveal the bandages on it.

"I understand if you still hate me, just know that I-I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Harper", the tears started to flow out of her eyes.

I didn't let her continue talking, I just wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a hug. She was taken aback at first, but then she wrapped her arms around me and sobbed incessantly.

"You're really strong Chels, don't worry, they're gone now", I said pulling away.

"H-How can you s-still be nice to me? After all t-the things I did?",

"Because I believe in giving people second chances, and I believe that you aren't lying",

"Well I don't believe her", Kenzie huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Oh shut up you overly emotional penguin, look in the mirror, you look like you're about to cry", I scolded.

"Pfft, no way, I don't cry", she quickly wiped her eyes.

"My eyes are still working Kenz, I can see the big fat baby tears about to fall",

"Shut up", she turns away wiping away the tears that started flowing down making all of us laugh as to how adorable she is.

Honestly, I have the best bunch of people right here, where would I go without them?
