''I love you too Sky." She said hugging him. I would never let you go in all of our lifetimes," she whispered to him. Hand in hand, they walked home from the beach. He walked her to her front door, she blew him a kiss before closing her front door.

As he walked home silently, his old memories came in a flash rushing back reminding him of his actions many generations ago that lead him to his current state of life..........

''My Prince, our walk has reached beyond its limits. You're heading us both to the forbidden part of the forest. My Prince, I suggest we go back and return tomorrow."The servant said.

"Nonsense Lewis, we would find a prey before going back to the clan,"The prince said.

"But your Majesty........"Lewis was saying but was cut off by The Prince "Lewis that's a prey "The Prince said as he aimed his bow and arrow at the animal. The Prince was skilled at the art that with one shot the animal fell to the ground with a satisfactory smirk, he turned to Lewis.

"Go and fetch it," He commanded. Lewis ran off returning with the animal on his shoulders.

Your Majesty, this isn't an ordinary animal, killing and eating it would have consequences".

The Prince snapped at him "build me a fire,"

An hour later, The Prince was feasting on the meat "Lewis, care to join me"

"Preferably not your highness," said Lewis.

Sometime later, The Prince abandoned the meat. They headed back to the palace. At the castle entrance, the Prince was summoned by his father through a guard."Your Highness," he bowed"I have returned from hunting."He told his father.

"Sky, my son did you get any prey?"His father asked. "No Father,"He lied not wanting to cause a ruckus about the animal he had eaten alone.

"Okay my son, go in and prepare for the evening meal, Cassandra and her parents are arriving shortly to arranged your wedding, "The King said dismissing him, he bowed and walked to his chambers.

Sky walked to his quarters to prepare for the evening meal. The sun had set and it was almost dusk. As he got ready, his thoughts wandered to her Cassandra. She was his first everything although it was an arranged marriage they had falling in love at first glance.

Through the dinner, they stole glances at each other due to them been seated at different places at the table. They finally had some alone time, they kissed departing with promises to see each other the next day. He went to bed with a smile on his face

He opened his heavy eyes little by little from sleep. He tried moving but, his body was heavily weighed. He was surrounded by his parents, Lewis and the diviner of the Gods, all standing by his bedside

" Father, is anything amiss?"He asked confused. His Father sadly nodded to Lewis as he held the silently sobbing Queen.

"Mother, why are you crying?Lewis what is going on here!!!!" Sky yelled.

"My Prince, you have been asleep for a month now. We tired waking you ,you were limp.
I reported to your father about the animal you ate, He then called for the diviner.

He is the only reason you're awake" Lewis explained

"It was just an animal father, just an animal" Sky muttered under his breath but, his father heard him. "Son you're turning into an animal," His father shouted.

"Not just any animal, My King. The animal the Prince ate is a Troblin" said awfully quiet Diviner.

"Diviner, is there a cure...for this ?" The Queen finally questioned in between sobs.

"Yes my Queen there is a cure,but there are also punishments along with, your son becomes immortal with a tail.

He would have cursed powers of the Gods. He won't be allowed to live in this generation, if he doesn't do this. He becomes a Troblin to replace the one he killed" The diviner finally concluded.

"Where is Cassandra?" Sky asked looking at the people around him for answers. He wanted to see her smiling at him, encouraging him. He didn't mind the fact of turning to an animal if she stayed by his side forever.

Where is she Father?!!!!" Sky bellowed.

"She left you Sky, she said she can't marry an animal. She is now married to another "Lewis explained.

Sky's world came crashing down that very moment at the words Lewis had said to him. He sat there limp, that his words where barely heard when he said

"Do it diviner."

The Diviner turned to the King, who nodded, he began to chant. "Goodbye my Prince I hope we meet again" That was the last words alongside his mother wailing he heard before the closing his eyes, opening it to find himself in front of a big, modern mansion in the new modern generation.....
