The brunette shifted uncomfortably on the bed, he didn't like being connected to so many machines.

'I feel like an invalid....'

"Is it safe for me to walk around?"

The brunette asked softly, not wanting to stay in the infirmary bed any longer than he actually had to.

"Yes, your body won't be strained, the equipment was attached to you in case you stayed unconscious for a few days and the breathing mask was a precaution...."

The hitman trailed off, the sky felt guilty for worrying the hitman, even though Reborn wasn't showing it, he knew that he had been worried about him.

"That's good, then I guess that I'll leave the infirmary immediately"

Tsuna replied with a soft and adorable smile.

"Please reconsider Yoshi, you need your rest"

Hayato called in concern, Tsuna felt warmth flutter within him at his storm's concern.

"Don't worry Hayato I'll be fine"

The little sky replied as he carefully removed all of the machines away from himself before sliding off of the bed, he quickly stopped himself from wobbling and falling on his face by grabbing the bed to steady himself.

The brunette ignored his storm's grumbles and complaints about him needing more rest as he left the room.

Tsuna had been wandering the halls of the Vongola Madison, this time however, he had his eyes on the look out for maids and he hurriedly hid when he sensed one approaching for he did not want a repeat performance.

'I know that I'm supposed to stay in my room or at my desk but that's too boring....'

He paused when he smelt a wonderful scent within the air, he immediately perked up when he recognized the smell to be that of fresh chocolate chip cookies.

He hurried over towards the kitchen, intent on snagging a few for himself, however he paused when he spotted Hibari Kyoya lurking in one of the kitchen corners.

'I wonder if Kyoya is hungry'

The honey eyed brunette glanced over towards his cloud guardian. He had sleek short black hair and steel grey eyes that fitted his silk suit, the male always looked so elegant.

"Mini-Omnivore"

Tsuna froze when the skylark called his specialized nickname.

"Hi Kyoya....."

The brunette squeaked nervously, suddenly feeling subconscious of his current form, he really hoped that he didn't accidentally provoke the bloodthirsty male.

"The carnivore told me what happened with the cow herbivore and his toy"

Tsuna sighed inwardly at the skylark's way of speech.

'So Reborn already told all of my guardian's about my situation....'

The little sky jumped when the cloud suddenly appeared right in front of him, steel orbs scrutinizing his small form.

"W-what do you need Kyoya?...."

Tsuna stuttered as he moved to back away from his cloud guardian, however he was stopped when the male grabbed his arm.

"....."

"EH?!? Kyoya!"

Tsuna squawked as he was scooped up by the skylark and half under his arm carelessly.

'What the hell?!? Why is Kyoya acting weird?!'

Kyoya walked over towards the kitchen window and smashed it before leaping through it, Tsuna mourned the additional paperwork that had most likely been caused with the window's destruction.

'The window was one of those easy to open ones! Why did he have to make more paperwork for me?!'

Tsuna wisely stayed quiet as he allowed himself to be carried off into the woods by the skylark, knowing that any escape would have been futile the moment he had caught the skylark's attention.

Honey orbs blinked in confusion as soon as the skylark had placed him into the ground. They were in the middle of the Vongola forest, unfortunately in one of the areas that he was not familiar with.

"Umm Kyoya?....."

The brunette raised off as he observed their surroundings, they were in a calm clearing.

"Silence Mini-omnivore"

Kyoya threatened as he pulled out his silver gleaming tonfas, Tsuna went to respond but quickly shit his mouth at the dark glare that his cloud has given him.

'Umm this is awkward.....'

The skylark suddenly sat down in the grass, pulling the brunette down with him as well.

Tsuna blushed when he realized that he was sitting in Kyoya's lap, he went to get up but he was stopped by the males strong grip.

'This is so weird!!! Why is Kyoya acting like this?!?'

"Eh?...."

The honey eyed brunette was startled at the feeling of something patting his head, he was even more startled when he realized that Kyoya was petting him like some sort of pet.

'Wait.... Kyoya likes small animals... Maybe I'm classified as in the same category as Hibird?'

With the new realization, Tsuna allowed himself to lean back into the skylark's chest and relax, knowing that the dangerous teen wouldn't harm one of his pets.

'Now that I know that Kyoya won't hurt me, it actually feels sort of nice to relax in silence with him....'

Kyoya smirked when the small brunette fell asleep, he had noted how the boy needed to rest when he had first entered the kitchen. He guessed that the sky didn't even notice the fact.

He continued to gently pet Tsuna's soft brown locks like he would a small animal, for that was what the brunette had become.

A small animal that could be crushed with the littlest of force, it was a terrifying thought that the one who he had come to respect could currently be defeated so easily.

"It's my job to protect the mini-omnivore"

The skylark muttered under his breath as his yellow canary landed on the brunette's head.

"Hibari,Hibari!"

The bird chirped in greeting.

The skylark gave Hibird a quick pet before continuing to pet the brunette.

"Protect mini-omnivore! Protect mini-omnivore!"

The skylark silently agreed with his pet, he decided to keep the brunette protected until his sky returned back to his original form. Then, he could deman a fight as payment.

The cloud smirked darkly as his bloodlust quivered in anticipation. He couldn't wait.
