"Are you nervous or something?" Yoongi laughed as the girl looked out the window, her leg was bouncing up and down rapidly.
She smiled at her brother, "Just a little," The girl chuckled nervously as she put her attention back onto the scenery as they drove by. It was releasing day.... after 2 long years, it was finally time. After he was put into the military, she had counted the days till he got released, till she got to see him again.
It was hard, incredibly hard for everyone to see him leave, yet again it was hard to see everyone off. Jungkook's absence hit the hardest out of everyone for the girl, which most people would call her a traitor; but she doesn't care. All of her friends were in the services now, and she was all alone technically. Although she still had the foreign line in Seventeen, and the ones that had returned; the ones she had grown close to were still gone.
Jungkook would be the first one back, and she couldn't wait to see him. But that didn't stop the annoying thoughts that seemed to always dampen her mood. Did he miss her? Did he still care about the girl? What if he hates her now? What if-
"Stop it," Yoongi grabbed the girls' hand, his thumb going in circles on the top of it. "(Y/n), trust me when I say this, he's been waiting to see you," He smiled at his younger sister, patting her cheek lightly as they pulled through the gates. People lined the street of the camp, paparazzi as well as news stations.
The girl reached up to the necklace around her neck, playing with the two rings that were on it. The car came to a stop, and her manager looked back at the two siblings, "Are we ready?" He asked, and the color drained from her face. She began to internally panic.
Her manager opened the door, she was greeted by the other members as they started to walk towards the field where everyone was lined up. The panicked girls' eyes wondering everywhere as she continued to play with the rings on the necklace, trying to find him. The cold air pricking her skin, turning it a slight tint of red.
Jimin and Taehyung both got out a couple of months ago, a month apart actually. The reunion of the two was heartwarming, and now the last one left was going to be the big bomb. She had promised herself to not cry, but that was still iffy.
She felt a slight nudge on her side, (Y/n) looked over to see Jimin pointing to someone. Her eyes raced over to where he was pointing to see Jungkook, and then her eyes started to water as they had made eye contact. As soon as the army commanders dismissed the group, she ran over towards Jungkook, jumping into his embrace. There was no stopping the tears now.
"Hey," Jungkook sniffled as he snuggled his face into the side of her neck. "How's my girl?" He asked as he ran his hand through the girl's hair, kissing her cheek in the process as she cried into his shoulder.
"And I didn't get greeted like this? My own sister," Yoongi teased as the others walked up to the duo, she looked up and ruffled Jungkook's hair. He smiled as he looked down at the necklace, grabbing it with his empty hand.
"And yet she was worried he didn't miss her," Taehyung scoffed earning snickers from the other boys, but the two didn't seem to listen as they were both in their own little world.
"You kept them," Jungkook smiled at the girl as he held her face in his hands, giving her a quick peck on the lips. She sniffled as she nodded her head, quickly taking the necklace off so she could take the rings off.
As the girl was busy with the necklace, Jungkook was greeted by the rest of his group and his family. Everyone had now joined the tears of (Y/n), as they all greeted the youngest member. It had been a bittersweet moment for everyone there.
The girl finally got the rings off of the necklace, she shoved the in her pocket quickly so she could put the necklace back around her neck. The girl looked over to Jungkook, she smiled as she watched him hug his mother, trying to comfort her. "You lovesick puppy," Yoongi laughed as he seemingly popped out of nowhere, scaring his younger sister.
"I am not," She mumbled as she reached in her pocket, pulling out the two rings; examining them closely to make sure not a single stone was out of place.
"That's the fifth time you've looked at those rings (Y/n)," Yoongi laughed as he ruffled her hair, making the girl roll her eyes in the process.
Jungkook looked up, waving the girl over with a lovesick smile. His mother turning around, greeting the girl with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He held out his hand, and she placed the ring on his ring finger. She handed him her ring, and he put it on her ring finger. They both looked up at each other, both crying once again before they pulled each other into another hug.
A couple of clicks of a camera caught the couple's attention, "My son and daughter in-law are so beautiful," Jungkook's mother had cried out, wiping her tears with her husband's handkerchief, as he just stood to the side shrugging trying not to laugh at his wife. Jungkook and (Y/n) both ending up in a fit of laughter at the boys' mother as she took more pictures as she continued to sob.
"Mrs. Jeon let me take the pictures, you and your husband should be in them," Yoongi walked up to the hysterical woman, but her shaking her head quickly.
"No no, you should be in there with us, you are our family just as much as your sister. Call me Mom," She smiled at the brother, his eyes started to water at her words. She handed the phone off to Hoseok as they gathered for a 'Jeon/Min' family photo, which was sure to end up in the foyer of their home.
"Okay now everyone, please," Mrs. Jeon waved for the other boys to come join the photo as she asked for (Y/n)'s manager to take a couple of photos of the group as a whole. All of their faces stained with tears as they all put on their best smile.
He was home.
Everything was perfect.

"YAH!" The little boys yelled in sync as they played with their toy swords, chasing each other around the back yard. Jungkook sitting in amusement as he watched the two chase each other in a circle, at some point they had to get dizzy right? He was just getting dizzy watching the two.
"Alright boys," (Y/n) laughed as she waddled out of the house and onto the back porch, gaining the attention of all three of them. "Someone's here to visit," The mother had smiled as she stepped out of the way to reveal her best friend, other than her husband of course, Vernon.
"Uncle Vernon!" The boys yelled in unison as they dropped their swords, running over to the older male as he squatted down to their height. The twins tackled their said 'uncle' to the ground as they attacked him with hugs.
"Okay boys, we'll be gone for a day or two, so you guys behave," (Y/n) gained the attention of her twins, as they both quickly nodded their heads, running over to their mother and hugging her legs.
"We'll see you soon Eun-Chae," Tae-Hyun kissed his mother's belly before lightly patting it.
"Yea see you soon," Cheon-Sa followed behind his brothers' footsteps, kissing his mother's belly and lightly patting it before running back to his abandoned sword.
"Will you be, okay? Jeonghan and Minghao will be down the str-"
"I got this," Vernon laughed as he brought the girl into a hug, rubbing her back to sooth her. "I've done it before, and I can definitely do it again. I enjoy what little time I have with them, let me know how things go," He looked over to Jungkook, and they both shook hands.
"Okay well everything is already prepped for dinner, and their food for school is in the fridge as well. Oh an-"
"Hun, we have to go Vernon can call if he has any questions," Jungkook and (Y/n) waved goodbye to their boys once more before they came back home with another addition to the Jeon family. Vernon walked them out of the home, as (Y/n) went on another spiel of where everything was before Jungkook helped her in the back seat of his mother's car.
"Sorry Mom," Jungkook laughed as he buckled his seatbelt, his mom lightly pressing the gas as they slowly pulled away from the house.
"Oh no dear, it's okay; Your father had to do the same thing to me when I was pregnant with you," She chuckled at the memory as she kept her eyes on the road, humming happily to the song that was playing on the radio.
All the way to the hospital, (Y/n) was nervous, she was the same way when she was pregnant with the twins. Jungkook loved to call her a worrywart all the time, but she could never help how anxious she got. He grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it, which took her out of her trance.
She looked over to her husband and smiled at him, she couldn't have gotten luckier. What once was her best friend, turned husband within 2 years after the accident. If you would have told her that she would have gotten married to the Jeon Jungkook, she would have thought that you were crazy and needed to be put into a mental institute.
But boy oh boy, she didn't know what was coming to slap her across the face within the coming years. The two ended up becoming a couple after they sat down, and both confessed at the same time, like exactly the same time and ever since then they had been inseparable.
So, when he had to go into the Army, it hit (Y/n) hard and she didn't know how to function for the first year. The girl had grown so accustomed to waking up with him, going to bed with him, working out with him; being with almost 24/7. So, when he left, it was a rude awakening. Luckily before Jin had left, they gotten married, that's one thing that the boy had wanted. He wanted his members to be there, to see that their Maknae wasn't so little anymore; to show that he had matured.
"Alright, let's go have my granddaughter!" Jungkook's mom cheered as she put her car in park, turning it off quickly as she hopped out; more than ready to meet her granddaughter. The duo couldn't help but laugh at her as they both got out of the car, Jungkook's mom helping (Y/n) stand up as he grabbed the duffle bag.

"Okay everyone, smile," Jungkook's mother smiled behind the camera as everyone was gathered around the table, Tae-Hyun and Cheon-Sa sitting behind their cakes as they stood up in their seats so they could be seen. Eun-Chae being held by her Uncle Yoongi as he poked her cheek to get her to smile.
"So precious, honey come look!" Jungkook's mother shuffled away to her husband, (Y/n) chuckling at the older woman as she looked through the pictures with her husband.
"She is so cute," (Y/n) chuckled one more time as she watched the elder start to cry about how cute the pictures were, Jungkook wrapping his arm around her waist and kissing the top of her head.
"Mommy!" Eun-Chae giggled, gaining the attention of her mother. She looked over to see her brother tickling the young girl as she tried to escape his grasp. Hoseok and Tae-Hyun dancing to their hearts content, while Jin and Cheon-Sa kept taking selfies proclaiming that they are both indeed 'worldwide handsome.'
"What are we going to do?" Jungkook asked laughing, looking around at everyone as he rubbed his wife's back. She shrugged as she rested her head on his shoulder, watching her kids in awe at their personalities coming to light.
She loved this, she loved when everyone was around her kids. She trusted everyone with her kids, even though it may not seem like it at times. But her kids had grown to know all of her friends as 'Uncles' and 'Aunts', so no matter what she had someone who wanted to come over and watch the kids, even when she didn't need a babysitter.
"Yah! Namjoon!" Jimin laughed at the elder as he started to dance to the song that was playing on the radio, everyone else started to join in. Hoshi, matching Namjoon's crazy energy. Jungkook and (Y/n) both looked at each other before shrugging and running over to join the dance party.
Life as The Little Sister....
Was one worth living.
