It is the next evening. Prince Tyler and Josh enter the beautiful lagoon, full of enchanting animals. Ryan and Dallon enter and look on from nearby.

"No boy's ever dared to join me out here. Too afraid to muddy their shoes. But not you!"

Josh beams.

"Peaceful, isn't it? Not another living soul for miles and miles. If only..."

Prince Tyler looks away. Out in the distance, Brendon emerges.

"Hi guys! What's happening?"

"Nothing is happening?" Dallon cried.

Ryan grabs his beak in his claw.

"Shh! They spent all morning on horseback, then an afternoon picnic, now this, and not so much as a peck on the cheek!"

"Oh no!" Brendon cried. "There's only one day left!"

Josh smiled at Prince Tyler. He smiles politely back.

"So, how about this weather?" Prince Tyler asked, awkwardly.

"We gotta do something, and quick." Ryan said.

"But what?" Dallon asked.

"This could be our last chance!" Brendon cried.

"We got to create the right kinda mood."

"You mean like candlelight and champagne?" Dallon suggested.

Dan and Phil enter to spy on the gathering.

"Nonsense." Ryan said. "It don't take all that. Everything we need, we got right here."

He enlists the animals as a calypso band.

"Percussion."

They start to play.

"Strings."

"Winds."

The song has worked its magic. At long last, Prince Tyler leans in to kiss Josh.

"Oh no you don't!" Phil shouted.

"Quickly! Dan added. Block that kiss!"

Dan and Phil knock the boat and shock all the animals with their electricity. The animals make a commotion as they scatter and exit.

"Whoa!" Prince Tyler cried. "What happened???"

He steadies the rocking boat with the oars.

"Josh, are you all right?"

Josh nods, but inside he is crushed. Prince Tyler starts rowing.

"Well, we ought to get back anyway. Gotta rest up for my birthday tomorrow! Ol Mark's planning a ball to help find the boy with that voice. He wants me married by sunset, or else!"

Josh allowed a tear to escape, but he smiles for Prince Tyler's sake as they leave to go back to the palace.
