The man then ran away quickly at her scream. She furrowed her eyebrows at the sight of him running.

A few minutes later Damon show his face she let out a scream.

"How you doing down there?"

"You fucking scared me-" She try tugging her seatbelt of and pressing the button but it wouldn't budge. "My seatbelt is stuck."

He got up moving the car a bit. She let out a gasp in pain.
He then bended down to her examing the situation.

"I'm going to get you out of here. I want you to put your hands on the roof."

She put her palms on the roof still facing upside down. "Good, just like that, ready?" She nodded.

"One, two, three." He pull the seat belt off and caught her. "Gotcha." She whimper in pain. "You okay? Can you stand? Is anything broken?"

"My dignity hurts but so do my ribs." she muffled. He smiled slightly.

He set her feet to the ground. He held her waist as she almost fell again. She shut her eyes as exhaustion finally creep in. 

"Nolean, look at me. Come on, Nolean." He grab her chin with his thumb. She open her eyes looking at him softly.

"Phone...Elena" She fell against him as he caught her.

She woke up looking at the scene go pass her she then realize she was in a car. "Morning." She look to her left seeing Damon. "Morning...where are we?"

"In Georgia." He smiled. Her eyes widen, "No, no, no seriously?"

He look at her "Seriously we are in Georgia. How your feeling?" She lean back "So sore and bruise." She check herself to see she had gain more orange streaks in her hair.

She gasp "Oh my god I'm so dead Elena car." She sunk even more further in her seat. She straighten up as an idea came into her head "No I'm not... I'm going to blackmail her." She smiled then look frighten.

"I hit a man... But he got up again who was he?" She look toward Damon.

"That's what I would like to know."

She check her pockets looking for her phone. Nolean realize that her phone was left in the car crash. "Damon pull over I need to use your phone." He just look at her "Damon now I'm serious." He rolled his eyes pulling over. "You are so much fun when your sleeping." He stop the car as she open the door getting out putting her hands on her knees feeling her bruise torso. He went to her side quickly looking at her filled with concern.

"Hey." He spoke softly she stood up straight. "Tell me how bad it is." She put one hand on his chest for support then pull her shirt up. He wince seeing her ribs purple.

"Pretty bad." She sigh softly leaning against the car as he lean next to her. "Everyone going to be mad at me when I return home. Aunt Jenna for skipping school for two days, Elena for not calling her back and wrecking her car, Jeremy for leaving him with them, Bonnie for even talking to you."

"Arn't you being a little melodramatic." She pouted "It's not funny I need to return home before things get worse."

She recognize the rinnging of her phone. "My phone..."

Damon grab the phone from his pockets, "Its Stefan." She look up at him. "I'll take it.

Nolean lean against Damon shoulder try her best to relax her tense muscles.

"Nolean? She right here and yes she more then fine." She rolled her eyes at his lie.

"He wants to speak to you." She shook her head not wanting to get in between the argument of Stefan and Elena they needed to work that out.

In the other line Stefan was threating him. "...You have a good day Stefan." He hang up the call.

"Now Damon I need to go back."

He rolled his eyes "Oh come on you really don't wanna go back. What's the rush? Trust me your problems are still going to be there when you get home." She touch her orange streaks gently. "Step away from your life for five minutes."

She look gently up at him. "Am I going to be safe with you?"

"Yes." She nodded "Okay." They went back into the car finishing the trip. The whole ride was silent. Nolean was all ways nervous in cars especially now that she been involve in three accidents two causing the deaths of people she love.

She was still shaking from the accident. Damon gave her his jacket along the way.

They arrived at there destination.

"You brought me to a bar? You think they would let me in?" He just stare at her blankly. "Right compulsion."

They both exit the car as she follow behind him. As she enter a woman saw Damon. She jump over the counter. "Damon my honey pie." They then kiss as Nolean turned around nit wanting to see that sight.

She took a seat.

As they finally stop making out Damon sat next to her as she went back to bar tending.

"Let's make a toast everyone here's to the man who broke my heart crush my soul and runied any chance of happiness I found." She pour all the shots. "Drink up everybody."

Nolean look to the shot uncomfortable as memories pass her brain she push it toward Damon.

"So how's he rope you in?" She pick up her head. "Kidnapping against my will." Damon rolled his eyes.

The old lady shook her head at Damon.

"She special don't forget that."

Nolean eyes widen.

"You know what I am?"

"It's not my place to tell you but think far back to when you were a teen or child." She nodded slowly.

She then change the topic "How did you two meet?"

"College." She tuned her head toward him shock. "You went to college?" He smirk.

"About 20 years ago just a sweet young freshman." He down a drink as Nolean look back at the lady. "I met this beautiful man and fell in love and then he told me about his little secret. Made me love him more because you see I had a little secret aswell. That I was dying to share with someone."

"Your a witch." Nolean finish off didn't realizing the word till it finally hit her. "Yes. He change my world."

"I rock your world."

Nolean cringe putting her head low.

"He is good in the sack isn't he?" She pick up her head "Please stop teasing me." The witch nodded.

"So Damon what do you want?"

Her phone rang in her pocket she excuse herself from the conversation heading outside as Damon watch her leave. She sat on the hood of the car.

"Hi Jenna, sorry I didn't come home I was super tired last night so I stood with Elena and Bonnie and then I woke up not feeling well."

"Are you okay?" Jenna asked worriedly "Y-yeah my anxiety is just been getting the best of me in the past few days." She tuck her orange strand of hair behind her ear. "I'll promise to text you later or call. I love you Aunt Jenna, bye."

She hang up the phone placing it in her pocket. She gave a quick text to Bonnie and Elena to cover for her that should would explain everything when she came back home. She was going to head back inside when she got a call from Stefan.

"Nolean where are you?"

She look around "Somewhere far but I'm safe so stop worrying." She sighed "Stefan what did Elena meant when she said she has her face?" She bit her bottom lip nervously as Damon listen from a distance.

"Katherine and her have the same face." Nolean blink multiple times before her eyes winden "Why would you hide that your dead girlfriend has my sister face!?"

"Just tell me where you are so I can get you."

She pace around scrunching her hand open and close. Her anxiety was getting out of hand. "I-I n-n-need to go."

She end the call shoving her phone in her pocket.

She went to go back inside to get some water when Damon was infront of her she jump away from him. "Are you okay?" She walk past him as he caught her hand.

"I j-just need water." He listen to her frantic heartbest pounding in her chest. The wind pick up around her as her hair flutter as she look back at him. He pull her along walking infront of her. They were back to the bar as she got her glass of water.

She immediately down it.

Damon later order food them  now that it was the afternoon plus he was trying to put her in ease. She thank him as she pop a fry into her mouth chewing slowly.

"I never seen you so nervous eating burger." She look up at him.

"I'm just don't feel well being away from home leaving my family."

He look directly into her eyes. "Is that the truth?"

She took off the pickles of her burger as he grab them from her plate. "Partial. Road trips give me major anxiety after that how my parents pass and now third car crash."

She bit into her burger setting it back down. As she finish chewing she change the subject. "If vampire survive off blood then how can you eat?"

"As long as I keep a healty diet of blood in my system my body function pretty normally." She smiled at him. "Even though I should be anti-vampire that's pretty cool."

He look at her "I forget that your a nerd." She rolled her eyes giggling. Bree the lady came over handing Damon a beer. He took it placing it on his lips.

Nolean went back to eating. She promise Elena she wouldn't drink until the proper age. She was tempted but decided against it.

It was now night at Damon kept looking at the quiet Gilbert. Everyone around her was drinking shots. She sat up as Damon raise an eyebrow at her. "I have to go to the lady's room." She went to the back of the bar when she felt something off. She turned around seeing a man. He held a plank wood in his hands she back up against the door as her eyes lit up a hint of emerald within her hazel contacts. She slowly approach him. "Y-your here for Damon arn't you."

"He killed my girlfriend Lexi. She went to visit Stefan." Damon then came out side as the man attack him grabing the plank splitting into pieces. He took a piece and shove it into his stomach Damon grunt falling onto his knees.

"D-dont do this." She then felt a presence next to her she look to her right to see Lexi ghost.

"Your Lexi?" She whisper between herself. She nodded. "I need you to lend me your hand please little nature trust me." She look up to the ghost figure grabing her hand as she did Lexi was now visible.

"My love!" He turned his head around "Lexi..." He left Damon on the floor hugging her she kiss his lips. "I don't want you to do this." She look to Damon gasping for air. "B-but he killed you."

She held his face in her hands "I know but you wouldn't be any better then him if you did this. I know your better then this my love." Tears stream down his face. She press a lingering kiss on his lips. "I'll be waiting on the other side." She smiled as she slowly dissapear. Nolean plop on the floor exhausted and daze

The man look at Damon one last time before running off.

She crawled over to Damon pulling out the wood as he let out a groan grinding his teeth.

He finally regain strength he stood up helping Nolean get up. She fell against him not having enough strength to even function properply.

He lifted her up heading to the car setting her in the passenger side adjusting and clicking her seatbelt back to place. She snore softly.

He press a kiss to her forhead closing the door and went to go deal with Bree.

Nolean let out a yawn. Damon look over her "Do you know you sleep alot?" She smiled sleepily "Mmhm." As she rub her eyes she slowly sat up. "Why did you bring me Damon?"

"Your not the worse company Nolean. You should give your self more credit."

"Seriously?" She smiled at him raising an eyebrow. He look back at the road. "I don't know, you were out in the road all damsel in distress like and I knew it would piss of Stefan and everybody else and... You're not the worst company in the world, Nolean." He look at her.

"I use to be more fun. Drink, dance, outgoing. Now I'm so the opposite." She smiled looking at herself change.

"You did okay." He look back at the road. She put on a cheesy smiled "I save your life."

"I know."

She giggle "And don't you forget it Damon Salvatore."

She went back home greeting everyone she went to aunt Jenna first since she knew she definitely worried. Jenna pulled the youngest Gilbert into her a hug as she explain that about the car crash and apologize multiple times for not calling her as promise. Nolean was grounded for a week for still lying to her because she couldn't answer all her questions.

She greeted Jeremy.

Jeremy pull his little sister into the biggest hug as he explain how he met a girl and was writing an essay on the Gilbert family. She nodded suggesting she could help.

She finally went to Elena seeing she was laying her bed upset she comforted her sister, and suggest she could talk it out with him and help her plan out what to say. She also filled her on the details on the trip with Damon the girls laugh and talk for hours with each other.

Nolean went to her room ready to shower when she look at her skin to see all the bruises from the pass three days gone. She trace her skin shock.

She shower washing her hair. As she step out changing into new clothes she looking into the mirror seeing her hair fully orange. She slip on her glasses to make sure.

"Oh Aunt Jenna going to kill me for sure. She going to think I use her hair dye-"
