Drawing #37: Be More Chill is going to Broadway!
On the day I am posting this (February 13), Be More Chill became a Broadway musical! (⌒▽⌒)
The show deserves it! I love the songs and the fandom. Yes, all fandoms do have some bad qualities, but it was the Be More Chill fandom that got the show on Broadway. Congratulations Be More Chill!
And of course, I couldn't celebrate Be More Chill's Broadway opening without drawing some fanart.
Post-Drawing Analysis
What I liked: For being relatively new to digital art, I am actually proud of this. I think I did the line art the best. The color palette is also pleasing which I tried hard to do. As a tip, try not to choose the brightest shade of a color. It can be a lighter or darker shade of it, but it should be somewhat saturated or else it looks jarring.
What I disliked: This was rushed. I wanted to finish it in time but I was kind of running late, thus the lack of all the characters. The anatomy of some of the characters is inconsistent, and some just look a bit strange. For example, one of Rich's (bottom left) arms is technically longer than the other. The shading was also inconsistent and I didn't shade the clothes because, again, I felt rushed.
So moral of the story, try not to do things at 11 p.m. on a school night. Thanks for reading, and feel free to suggest something I should draw next.
