Hello everyone, I'm here today with some magical girl art. Here we have Sailor Moon from the anime, well, Sailor Moon, and Madoka Kaname from Madoka Magica. Both are from animes featuring magical girls, so I saw it fitting to draw them like this.

I've started taking pictures of my drawings as works in progress, so here:

I used a sharpie pen for inking and copics for coloring. I only realized after coloring this that I forgot to add light to the hair to make it look shiny.

Post-Drawing Analysis:

What I liked: I did like the way I did the light of the moon and stars on Sailor Moon's half. It might be unrealistic but for me, at least, it looks nice. I think anatomy wasn't too much of a problem this time which was nice.

What I didn't like: Shadowing is a problem here, especially on Madoka's side of the drawing. The point where some of her hair meets the skin was shadowed wrong. I also did not shadow the side of their faces, and they should be shadowed somewhat. A part of Sailor Moon's uniform also matched with the sky, and even with inking, the place where that part of the outfit exactly was became hard to tell.
