Drawing #26: New Cover!

The cover image of this very ARTBOOK used to be copyright-free image of colored pencils I found on the web and some text saying "The Little Drawings That Could (n't)." However, seeing as this was an artbook, after all, I decided to draw a cover for this. So, here it is.

Post-Drawing Analysis:

What I liked: I think I did shading really well here. Inking too. That's because instead of how I would normall draw mosty of the shape as a shadow on the ground, I tried just tracing out a part of the shape's bottom really dark, and then I let the shadow become lighter and lighter as the shadow went forward.

What I Disliked: I know I drew the O in Couldn't wrong. If it were a 3-D shape, you wouldn't be able to see the inside of it from that viewpoint.

Notes: This drawing idea was actually originally from an art contest entry I submitted for school. The theme was "A line is a dot that went for a walk," a quote from Paul Klee. My entry tied for 3rd place in my grade with another really good one, and won two free Regal Cinemas tickets. I used those to watch The Incredibles 2. My art contest entry had a desk lamp and the dot had legs and was walking.
