Captain

This is way overdue and I'm sorry, my parents expect me to make honor roll each marking period so I had to put my grades first, and finals are finally over. My best friend Nikki, oh my god she would always tell me to update, because one of the future characters is based off of her, but again I'm extremely sorry and I hope this makes up for it.

I wake up, not to the sound of an alarm clock, but this is more alarming. I jump out of bed and hear Zoe screaming and I run to her room where I see her on the floor crying in a ball with her ears plugged. I rush to her side "Zoe I'm here it's ok calm down." I told her,she knew I was there and her screaming stopped but she was still crying her eyes out, we sat like this for twenty minutes, I kept stroking her hair to help her relax, to think a girl this young would have to deal with any of this, I wouldn't of wanted to deal with this when I was her age. I noticed her tears stopped, her breaths weren't as heavy, and she didn't feel as tense. "Are you ok" I hesitantly asked her she slowly said "I-I'm ok." I looked at her eyes still reddish from her tears "you know, you remind me of Peggy." She got out of the little ball she was curled up in. "what do you mean, don't get me wrong Peggy like you was one of my role models but what makes you think I'm anything like her?" She asked me "well I'm not going to lie you look nothing like she did, but you act the same way, Peggy did follow orders but she was independent like you. See on my first day in the army I was about as tall as you actually, well I'm not going to sugarcoat it one guy was being a flat out bitch to Peggy and she punched him right in the nose and I swear that was the moment I fell in love with her, I loved it when jerks finally got what they deserved and Peggy seemed to love giving them what they deserved, the reason you reminded me of her was when Stark was being a jerk to you, you didn't even hesitate to give him what he deserved. Also even in the toughest times neither of you let it get to you, you'll both try your hardest to get through it even if you have a breakdown along the way you try your hardest to keep moving, trust me Peggy was the strongest woman I knew but when she first saw me again she was in tears, when you saw memories of your past you broke down. To me that resemblance was almost exact, and it makes me proud to know I could call a girl like you my daughter."
