Rocky and The Forest Animals Part 1

Describing a forest has no words to say, just the faint memory of gigantic tree's and their leaves keeping some sunlight hitting the ground floor as insects flew and forest animals lazily roamed. Now having this picture in mind, let's put in Rocky and Bob where we left them off disappearing from human sight into the forest. Odd, but, there's lengths  animals can go when they are motivated and have some guidance to their goal.

Rocky came to a direct halt in front of  pond, startling Bob who let go of Rocky's back and landed into the water.

 Plop!

"Thirsty." Rocky starts drinking from the water.

Bob marched himself out of the pond.

"Mice and rats are not made for swimming."  Bob grabs a big leaf then begins soaking the water off him by wrapping the large leaf around himself while standing on his two back feet. Bob is idealy  using something similar to towels used by humans when they are drying off. He earns a chuckle from the teenage lion.

Rocky raised his head up hearing a quack  from the pond. Actually, a bunch of frantic quacks.

"LION!"

"LIOON

"LIWUN!"

"LIIEEEN!"

They are small ducks to be precise, still growing and small enough a human could put them into their hands. Rocky and Bob watched the struggling to swim ducks waddle shortly away from an awkward situation. The ducks could be toddlers or kids in the standereds of speaking/prounciation so this means it can be undoubtedly to contemplate if they hatched from their eggs days apart of one another.

"What are those?" Rocky asks Bob.

"Ducklings," Bob uses a twig shaped like a comb on his head getting rid of some dirt and crumbs he hadn't cleaned off before. "Hadn't taken a shower like this before."

   Rocky glances at Bob, confused.

"Just messing with you." Bob jokingly said, wrestling a curly hair-strand on his body. "Kid, can you use one of those sharp claws on this tangled mess?" He has a big cluster of curls held by the twig-like-comb held a little bit away from his head.

The teenage lion held his right paw up that then revealed a set of claws.

"I really haven't used claws..." Rocky starts. "Not since I accidental scratched John."

    Bob glares at him.

"Don't care, just, please help me with this mess!"

Rocky carefully put his smallest claw in between the comb and the part of the curly mouse hair connected to the head. This is....The most nervous I have ever done. For a teenage lion his age Rocky is among those first-timing cutters who shake and worry about hurting others by accident when getting something off them. His shaky black claw wedged in between the curly mess and then started cutting rising upwards carefully. One by one, the hair strands were cut and Rocky's claw had a bunch of mouse hair all over it.

"Done."  Rocky looks at his completely covered claw. "Wow. you got a lot of hair." He indirectly tells Bob.

Bob feels his head...he felt a bald spot.

"Ah man!" Bob complains. "Now I have a bowl shaped hair cut!"

Rock dips his paw into the water being glad it wasn't him.

A few hours passed being in the forest. Rocky hunted down a rabbit and ate it. Bob had no part in it so he  hid behind  a tree until the teenage lion was done eating the small animal.Mice were little to no use for lions since their size couldn't make up for the appetite Lions had for one entire day. They would have needed to get more mice to up the anty for their appetite, matter of speaking. He would have needed ten mice or more to be satisfied.

"Sooo, which direction do we go?"

 Bob jumped an entire inch.

"Ah!" He shrieks. "Don't scare me like that kido!"

Rocky wipes off his muzzle as he chuckles.

"Why so serious?" Rocky laughs, tossing a bone over his shoulder. "I do not eat squirrels,Rats, those animals that play dead--"

 "Possoms." Bob scowls.

"Yeah, those." Rocky comments. "And then there are skunks, annoying owls, ravage coyotes, and dinosaurs."

Bob laughs, "Kid. Dinosaurs do not exist!"

A small crowd of animals were watching the duo bicker, including a big buck with big antlers and a mane that is so prime it demonstrated this deer could be the leader of a big herd like Bambi's Father. Unnaturally some bears were watching the duo  from afar while scratching their backs on some tree barks.

"At least Lions have more sense." Rocky rolls his eyes, turning himself away.

The most awkward scenario in animal history occurred, including a sharp silence.

"....Mommy, why is there a lion in the forest?" A beaver-like animal asks a bigger one of it's species.

"Probably disoriented." The Mother beaver assumes.

 Rocky frowns.

"I'm not disoriented." He puts his left paw down. "I'm...just...lost."

The Big Buck stood out from the crowd.

"And if you are lost, why come into a forest instead of going to humans?" He has this demeanor of power and prime that freezes Rocky in his spot. He seems so wise looking and grand, in a way that could be understood by those who understand the importance of leadership.  In a way Rocky has been renedered speechless.

Bob's fur raises up a bit.

"He's terrible in asking for directions." Bob tells him. "He hasn't been at his home for...lion years. He's been raised by a human right up till now. "And...Um...He's already made some of his own enemies."

The Great Buck recognized Rocky as a genuine shy Lion, while the other animals gasp taking a step back from the potentially wild and killer animal. Rocky's entire body is stiff stuck in place. He is otherwise incapable of moving at the time from this really old deer.  The Great Buck raised his head up  from  the mouse to the other forest animals, his wise hazel eyes are sharp-collective-controlling.

"As far as this goes...This lion is domesticated." He said, reassuring them. "He's only here for the night, and if you want to spare your life...do not provoke this lion. Is that clear?"

The animals nodded.

Bob looks up to Rocky, tugging at his leg when the other animals left.

"Dude, stop being so freaking shy!" Bob complains, right as The Great Buck leaves them. He left a look at the  shy lion for a few seconds before completely leaving the unusual traveling duo alone.  "WAKE UP. wake up. WAKE UP!" He slapped the lions muzzle.

Rocky's eyes jerked open, scaring a little rabbit into the distance.

"Hey!" The lion growls, his eyes are like fire flames.

"Just had to make sure you are still there." The Mouse crawled down. "You got one night in here while the chaos in the city is going down. Everyone, including the police, will have forgotten at 1:00 AM. Can you stay up all night?"

Rocky smiles, feeling relaxed and easy.

"I stayed up watching television when The old Lady was sleeping." He dusted off his paw. "I can stay up all night!"

Bob snickers.

"Well, you'll need it for the ride."
