Aziz and her family had arrived to the Pridelands, as that Kazu and the rest of the pride was heading home. 

The king noticed Aziz stayed behind, as Zuko said, "Let my sis handle this. Tadashi needs to learn  a lesson from her." 

"Are you sure that they'll be fine? Also what about his scar on his arm?" He asked, as that the lion chuckled. 

"I'm sure. I never had a lesson by my father in his age, I think it's a good opportunity for the both of them." 

 As the lions headed back to Pride Rock after a encounter with Zira, Aziz puts her son down to have a talk. 

The lion cub smiles nervously at the queen, but he knew that playing innocent wouldn't go anywhere. 

"Tadashi, what were you thinking? You got hurt today and you weren't careful, you would've been killed today." Aziz said. 

"Mother, i didn't mean to diso-" The cub tried to explain, but his mother intervened, "I'm telling you this because I care and love you, son. 

I don't want to lose you." 

The cub sighs, "I know, but what about Asani? Do you really think she is an enemy?" 

"She is. You can't see her ever. Listen, it's hard to trust people, you need to be careful, i didn't know who to trust when i was a young cub. 

Also, you must remember, you are part the great-" 

Tadashi finished her, "The great circle of life. I know that." 

"Exactly, as the future king-" 

"But that is what every cub tells me. I know I'm the future ruler, it's not fun when everyone mentions to me all the time." He moans. 

"Hey, it's not all that bad. We are part of each other." Aziz said, as she gently pushed her son as the cub felt it and was surprised by her. 

Aziz: "As you go through life, you see. There is so much that we don't understand.

And the only thing we know, that things don't always go, the way we planned. 

But you'll see everyday, that we'll never turn away. 

When your dreams come undone! 

We will stand by your side, fill with hope and fill with pride!

Tadashi looks down at a river, as that he knew that it wouldn't be the same again after meeting Asani, wondering what is his role in the Circle of life. 

Tadashi: "If there is so much potential in me, can I still be myself, the way i am?

Can I trust my own heart, or i am a big part of some major plan?"

Aziz: "Even those who are passed, they're with us as we go on. 

Your journey is only begun. Tears of pain, tears of joy, One thing nothing can destroy! 

It is our pride, deep inside, we are one!" 

The mother and son ran through the herds, as that it was beginning to set, as the cub was enjoying himself. 

Chorus : "Family, Family! We are one!" 

Aziz: "We are one, you and i, we are like the earth and sky! 

One family under the sun! 

And the wisdom to lead, the courage that you need! 

You will find as you see, we are one!" 

Tadashi wasn't sure what his mother meant, as the queen smiled at the curious cub, "Remember, no one is replaceable. As long you live here, it's who you truly are." 

She licks her son, as she said, "You'll understand one day." 

As she leaves, Tadashi looks at the horizon in wonder, if that one day, he'll see his childhood friend and that they'll make up for lost time.

"Asani, i guess that we'll never get to see each other again. I hope we will. " He thought. 

As the young prince went inside the cave, Zuko was wondering about his nephew, as he thought, "Will Tadashi be all right?"
