Tadashi couldn't believe it. He was free. Free to be himself, despite of knowing he was a prince of the Pridelands. 

In every paw print he left behind, left him, so excited to see the unknown lands that he had been heard from other cubs in the pride. 

"This feels incredible!" He said, as that the young cub was indeed enjoying himself, as that he couldn't help but wonder about a certain place. 

The Outlands. Just what type of place was it, and why was it so important that it was totally forbidden, even for a prince of the Pridelands?

"The Outlands, huh?" He thought in his mind, as he notices a little butterfly. It flew towards him, and gradually, he couldn't help it but follow it playfully. 

"Hey, wait up, little butterfly! It's my first time going through the lands on my own." He said to it. 

Meanwhile, Timon and Pumbaa was looking for him. The warthog was a little bit concern. "Timon, are you really thinking that Tadashi wouldn't like it to find out we were sent by Aziz?"

"Awe, Pumbaa, you worry way too much, besides, this is by her request, she is not just his mother, she is the queen after all." The meerkat said, as that the warthog sighs. 

He knew that he had a point there, as that she has much more responsibility now, and it wouldn't be the same lifestyle that had before when they used to live in the jungle. 

The duo spotted the young prince, as they approached him. 

Tadashi followed the little butterfly, until it lands on a nearby rock. "Well, well. The proud hunter, just spotted his prey on sight. He goes for the kill!" 

He pounced on it, but it flew away. "Awe shucks. I thought i can get it." But then he spotted a land that got him curious. 

It was the lands that his family had warned him not to go. The young prince sat down, looking at the mysterious landscape. 

"Amazing. So, that is the infamous Outlands that I heard so much about. I do wonder what is out there?

I'm really intrigued now, I think i should investigate on this. It wouldn't be a bad thing, wouldn't it?"

He felt someone was watching him, as he turns around to see Timon and Pumbaa! "Ahh!" 

He fell into the water, as that Pumbaa said, "Don't you worry, Tadashi, I got ya!" 

Timon groans, "Aw, great, you warthog! You really messed this up!" He thought of how his adoptive daughter would feel. 

"Well, Aziz, we found him just as you requested. We sent a warthog to jump on him.. is that a good thing?"

Pumbaa asked, "Uh, Tadashi, where you go?"

The meerkat declares, "Are you deaf?!? Let me rephrase, "Babysitting?!?"

The warthog realizes it, as the cub gasps for breath, as he glares on the warthog for sitting on him.

"My bad. Tadashi, you realize as Aziz's heir, you wouldn't be all gone off all alone. You would been hurt." 

"Pumbaa, please, calm down! I'm not hurt by any means necessary! Why you guys here?"

"Well, your highness, it is most-" The meerkat said, but Tadashi was completely annoyed that he was referred as a prince. 

"Timon, you don't have to be so formal with me. I known you for a long time. It seems uncomfortable for me to hear myself as a prince. 

Being a prince is just a title. It's just half of who i truly am." 

"Oh, what is the other half?" Pumbaa asked. 

"Well, I don't know how to reply to that answer." He said, as Timon said, "Well, Tadashi, you'll figure it all out, do you want to join us for a bite?" 

He showed the cub the grubs that he had in his hand, as the young prince was absolutely grossed out by the sight of the bugs. 

"Ew, Timon, that is disgusting!" He exclaims as the meerkat was offended. "Disgusting? Tadashi, it's natural thing. You will get used to it." 

The warthog said, "Yeah, but the slimy ones are the tastiest." 

"Slimy, you say? I disagree. It's the crunchy ones that makes it so satisfying." 

"Slimy!" 

"Crunchy!" 

Tadashi saw his chance to slip away from the royal baby-sitters as that they were preoccupied with their argument. 

"Yeah, all right! I made it, to the Outlands!" He said, proudly.
