Chapter 18: Tadashi's wisdom

The royal family was astonished of seeing the young prince. Aziz was stunned of him as she said, "Tadashi, why you here?"

The young prince simply glared at his mother, of the way she handles the situation of the war, as that he had enough of it.

He tells her in a calm, angry tone, "Mother, this feud has to stop, right here and now."

The queen never heard her son speak in a confident tone before, acting like a true prince of the Pridelands, as that she often remembers how hard it was for him to be surrounded with the rest of the lions referring him as the prince.

Zira was not pleased of that her daughter had interrupted the most important fight to avenge her husband .

"Asani, you are weak than I thought. You interrupt the battle! Step aside!"

The lioness said, "Never! I would never allow you hurt Tadashi or Aziz! They are very precious ones to me!

You wouldn't understand anything!"

The outsiders was dumbfounded by her daughter's tone, as that the outsiders were still processing the two lions are helping each other.

Aziz was annoyed by her son, "Stay out of this, my son. This is my fight."

The prince sighs, "Mother, you have to listen to me. Long ago, a wise queen once told me, "We are one."

I was just a naive cub, who doesn't know what it meant back then. But now I do. "

The queen said, trying to prove her point, "They attacked us. They are the true enemy, Tadashi."

The prince chuckled, " 'Them'? Us! Just simply look around you. They are us. We are connected in the circle of life.

What differences do you really see?"

As Aziz looks around at the Outsiders, Kyo was the first Outsider who truly realized his mistake of not listening to his sister.

"Tadashi." He mutters in amazement, as the queen looks up at the sky, and was amazed how much her son had completely changed.

"Tadashi, I'm so proud of you." She said, as they reconciled. Sarabi steps forward, as she also was impressed by her grandson's wisdom.

"You inspired people around you. Your grandfather, Scar would be so proud of you. You stood up for your beloved and you make a fine king."

The prince blushed, "T-Thank you, grandmother Sarabi."

It took everyone to adjust what the young prince said, only Zira was eager to fight.

"Kyo, it's time to attack them head on!"

The outsider said, "No, Mother. I finally admitting my wrong for not listening to Asani, she made her decision, and I made mine."

He walked over to his sister's side, as the outsiders watches.

"Tadashi's right. It is time to let things go."
