It was an amazing time for Kiara and Kovu. They successfully stopped the bitter rivalry between the Outsiders and the Pridelanders. 

It seems like it was a dream that no one could ever predicted, that they could finally be in total peace. 

Kovu muzzles his beautiful mate as he said, "It is hardly believe that our prides used to hate each other. Now look at them. 

They are in pact with each other, as a big family. " 

Rafiki smiles, reassuring him, "Yes, I believed that is the important thing for all of us. I am truly proud of our new Queen of the Pridelands." 

Kiara seems to be blushing at that statement, "Rafiki, I didn't do anything special. Besides, the one that I should be thanking was my father.

He's the one who told me about not just the great Circle of life, but also reminding me that we are one. 

I was just a cub then, I really didn't understand the true meaning of it, until I got older." 

Simba seems to be pleased of how wise Kiara had gotten . Even though that he had forgotten the words that he taught her, it seems that she reminds him of how important it was. 

"I'm proud of you, Kiara. " He said to her as Kiara beams at her father as they embraced each other's warmth. 

That night, Simba was looking at the nightly skies alone, as he was thinking about his other child, Kion. 

"Simba?" A voice asks the old King as the former King of the Pridelands turned around to see it was no other than his best friend and mate, Nala. 

"Oh, hi, Nala." He said to the former Queen, as she sat next to her mate. 

"What is the matter?" Nala asks Simba. 

"I was thinking about Kion. " Simba told her. 

The Queen was silent too. She never thought about their son during the past three years since Kiara and Kovu became the new rulers of the Pridelands. 

"I'm sure that Kion would be fine, Simba. You know that he is headstrong lion. " Nala reassures the former King. 

"I know . It's still hard that he's not here in the Pridelands anymore. I'm just worried as his father." Simba said. 

"It would be absolutely fine, Simba, you don't have to worry." Nala chuckles at her mate as she pounces on top on him, like when they were young. 

Simba chuckles at his mate as maybe she was right.

This is how I envision of how the years have been since "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride " had ended with Kiara and Kovu begin their reign as King and Queen of the Pridelands.  

Kion doesn't know about the united Pride in Pridelands in this story and still thinks Kovu is still an enemy to the Pridelanders.
