Fatum murmured a quick incantation to freeze any non-magickal beings at the school, as one of the rules he lived by was to never hurt anyone not involved. Fatum quickly jumped into the magick realm and used it to quickly materialize by Eleanor to help aid her. She had wild magick, and was often paired with him in combat training because they balanced each other. Fatum put up a hasty aura shield around himself when he saw the blue-white magick sparks that mark a leader of a coven. These one were tipped with red and shaped flames, meaning it was Tavia Dragonsong, leader of the Fire Coven. She was rather unusual, Fatum knew, for being leader of a coven whose main talent was not her own. Fatum motioned for Eleanor to stop, and when she hesitated he cast a light freezing spell upon her to force her not to move. Thinking for a moment, he quietly said to the witch whom he didn't know, "Do not cast any magick. Your coven leader is here, and we are not allowed to fight unless she declares a dispute against my coven." Fatum shuddered as he saw Tavia's sparks move closer to where they were, and let out a small sigh of relief when he saw them stop at the library where Liam and Peter were.

Fatum took in a sharp gasp as he saw another set of sparks appear by Tavia's, blue-white with orange tips in the shape of a leaf. He noticed Eleanor flinch beside, she too recognized the sparks of Elentor Windcrest, their leader. He felt the familiar tug in his gut to go to his leader, and he knew Eleanor felt it too. He had been taught to resist this tug, as it was almost never necessary. Fatum saw the red-headed witch's face contort into something of pain and confusion, and knew Tavia must be drawing her in. Fatum murmured, "Just let go and let it happen," as he figured Tavia might be tugging on purpose. The red-head's features relaxed before she vanished. Louder, Fatum said to Eleanor, "I think we should go to Elentor, two leaders is not something we should ignore." Eleanor nodded and replied, "Yes. The other witch's earth-plane name is Kiera Hawkspear. I doubt you'll be able to get much from it as it isn't her true name, but it's something. Fatum nodded, closing his eyes for a second and trying to keep from speaking his own true name aloud to learn more about Kiera. Theseus Masort. It would be so easy, but he didn't want anyone to know his true name unless he had to. Most witches guarded their true name carefully, like him, except for coven leaders, whose names represented their coven and were known by most. Fatum's eyes shot open as he realized he could scan the name of Kiera's coven leader to find Kiera's true name. He asked Eleanor, "Please, go to Elentor. I will explain to him why I am not with you." As Eleanor vanished, Fatum reached into the Nature Coven web and spoke to Elentor telepathically, I will be there soon, but there's something I have to do first.

Fatum remembered then that his leader could feel more than his emotions and see his basic intentions. Fatum quickly said, Nature Coven leader Elentor Windcrest, I, Theseus Masort, request permission to search Fire Coven leader Tavia Dragonsong for purposes of obtaining information about a recently contacted witch.
