Cal was in his hero outfit and was in a helicopter flying to its destination, The G.A.P. Headquarters. He, Jeff and several other soldiers were there in the helicopter. Including...

Kaleb (Static): "Well this sure is interesting, heh heh."

Cal (Caliber): "Yeah, It certainly is. Jeff, what exactly is G.A.P?"

Jeff: "Well the Task Force only has one objective: To Protect the world from the forces of evil. We look for people with abilities who are willing to make a difference. This idea was supported by every major kingdom in the world, even the Templars. This organization was made recently so we're still coming up with soldiers and supers."

Kaleb (Static): "So let me guess, the only reason why this Task Force was formed is because there's grave danger coming right?"

Jeff: "You'd be correct. There are rumors that a secret organization is planning to bring back The Evil Seed. Also, there have rumors that they can control Malfested creatures."

Cal thought back to his history class.

FLASHBACK

Ms. Winters (Past): "The Curse of the Evil Seed.The curse enhances physical abilities among its victims, and can cause its victims to mutate into more powerful stages of being when they experience an intense emotion. It can also cause some victims to gain what appears to be some kind of...immortality. But thanks to the warriors, wizards, and allied Werewolves and Nekos were able to banish the Evil Seed long ago. Though there are some remnants of Malfested creatures."

PRESENT DAY

Cal (Caliber): "Is there any evidence that these rumors could be true?

Jeff: "Very little. Until we can prove that such a rumor is true, we are maintain our objective."

Helicopter pilot: "We arrived at G.A.P. HQ."

The environment was all snowy and filled with mountains. The helicopter soon landed and everyone got off the helicopter. They were all put in a waiting room to greet the director of the task force. A samurai-looking person walked towards them and extends a hand for a handshake.

Kai: "Hey, I'm Kai Hunter." He says with a friendly smile.

(His outfit)

Cal (Caliber): "I'm Caliber." He said as he shakes his hand.

Kai: "Oh your hero name. Then I'm the Emerald Samurai." He says as he chuckles.

Cal takes off his helmet.

Cal: "Heh heh, sorry. I'm Cal Rivers."

Kai: "So who's that?" He says as he points to Kaleb.

Kaleb (Static): "I'm Static. Let's leave it at that."

Cal: "He likes to keep to himself sometimes."

Kai: "Heh, ok. So what are your powers?"

Cal/Kaleb(Static): "Lightning/Knives."

Kai: "Lightning knives or just lightning?"

Kaleb(Static): "You'll find out when you'll find out." He said a bit rudely.

???: "Hey...Cal? Static?!"

It was a female voice that sounded digitalized and she approached them.

???: "It's you two!"

Cal: "Who are you?"

She removed her helmet and smiled at them. Kaleb blushed a bit behind his mask.

Emily: "It's me, Emily!"

Cal: "Emily?! What are you doing here? I thought you were working with the Templars."

Emily: "I am! It's just...more of a duty than a job, if you know what I mean."

Cal: "Heh heh, same here. I'm still with the Templars, and I'm not saying I'm being greedy or something...I just need a job."

She nods and looks at Static.

Emily: "Hi Static, it's nice to meet you again!" She smiles brightly.

Kaleb(Static): "Same here. You look nice." He says as he looks away.

Cal: "So Emily, how'd you meet Jeff?"

Emily/Kai: "Jeff? Who's that?"

Kaleb(Static): "The guy who supposedly looks for unique people like us."

Emily: "Oh, I thought Jack was doing the searching."

Kai: "Me too." He says as he too was found by Jack.

Cal/Kaleb(Static): "Who's Jack?"

Jeff and another person in uniform entered the room.

Jack: "I am Jack. I'm the captain of this squad."

Jeff: "And I'm Jeff. I'm the assistant squad leader."

Jack: "I've already been informed about who you are and your abilities, I haven't seen you in action myself. So, we're going to the training area."

They nod and they follow Jack and Jeff to the training area.

Jack: "First off, we'll start off with Ms.Nova. Don't worry, it won't hurt like the real deal."

Emily, who calls herself Ms.Nova, steps in to the training floor.

Jeff: "Alright, starting with level 4 combat bots."

Jeff taps on his tablet and 4 robots rose from the plates on the ground. Emily then shot laser beams from her helmet, destroying one robot and transformed her arms into weapons. She vertically slashed a robot who was about to jump at her. The other two shot at her with laser arms, but she blocked it when she transformed her arm into a shield, redirecting one of the lasers back at one of them. She then uses her jet boots to launch herself towards the last one with a arm transformed as a sword and cuts it head off.

Kai: "Impressive!"

Cal(Caliber): "Great job Emily!" He gives her a thumbs up.

Kaleb(Static): 'She's...amazing.' He says in his head. He also gives her a thumbs up.

Jack: "Child's Play. Now it will be tougher." He says as he looks at Kaleb seriously.

Kaleb(Static): "I take it it's my turn right? Ok."

Kaleb steps up to the center and pulls out his golden knives.

Jack: "Increase the level to 7."

Jeff: "Sure thing boss." He said a bit concerned.

4 robots rose from the ground, but they were different from before. They all pointed at Kaleb with their laser arms at shot at the same time. Kaleb jumped away just in time and ran towards one of the robots to stab in the head, but it grabbed his arm quickly and threw him away. However, he placed a sticky electricity grenade on it, destroying it. He then turned his attention to the other three.

Kaleb(Static): 'Gotta limit their sight.'

He threw a electric smoke grenade at them. He threw a tethered knife at one of their legs and pulled them away to finish it. The other two ran after the robot to find Kaleb stabbing it in the back of its head. They shot at him, but he threw two knives which connected the lasers, cutting them in half and hitting the robots in the head.

Kaleb(Static): "Too easy."

Kai: "Way to go Static!" He applauds.

Cal(Caliber): "That was cool."

Emily(Ms.Nova): "That was amazing Static!" She says as she runs up to him.

Kaleb(Static): "I'm glad you think so." He smiles behind his mask.

Jack stares at Kaleb for a bit. Kaleb notices he stares back.

Jeff: "Alright, next up should be Kai."

Kai: "Alrighty then." He says as he cracks his knuckles.

He prepares as four level 6 robots appear, but with swords. Kai focuses his energy on summoning a sword made out of Emerald. They all jump at him with their swords and he dodges them. He horizontally slashed one of them in half and threw his sword towards another one. Behind him was a robot who was about to kick him, he dodged it and he slammed it to the ground. Then he formed a Emerald knife and stabbed it in the head. He grabbed the knife and threw it to the last one through the chest. He grabbed his sword from the robot that had the sword in its chest and absorbed it.

Kai: "That was fun!" He smiled brightly.

Cal(Caliber): "That was so cool!"

Emily: "It sure was!"

Kaleb(Static): "Nicely done, Samurai."

Jack: "Alright Caliber, you're up next."

Cal(Caliber): "Cool."

Cal walked up to the stage and prepares himself. As usual, four level 7 robots appeared and run towards him. He dodges their attacks easily and destroyed them all in seven seconds with his lightning blades.

Jack: "Impressive."

Kai/Emily: "WOW! So quick!"

Kaleb(Static): "Heh, show off."

Cal(Caliber): "Honestly I wasn't trying to show off, I was just doing this as fast as I could."

Jeff: "So you want something fast?"

Cal(Caliber): "Uh, Yeah sure."

Jeff taps on the tablet and 3 robots on wheels appears.

Jeff: "This should keep you busy."

Cal smiles and starts running. The robots chase after him and shoot at him. One of them launched homing missiles at Cal and he started running faster. He ran back towards them and the missile destroyed both of them.

Cal(Caliber): "They're a bit slow."

Jeff Chuckles and shrugs.

Jack: "That will be all for the day. Jeff, Get these people home."

Jeff: "Alright, come along everyone. We're heading to the teleportation Room."

Cal(Caliber)/Kaleb(Static)/Kai/Emily: "Teleportation Room?!" They said excitedly.

They followed Jeff and Jack went to see the Director of G.A.P to report on their activities. He walked down a long hallway and walked through two big doors and into a decorated office with achievements and medals. The director saw Jack and smiled. The director's name was Keith Samuels.

Director Keith: "Hello Captain. How are the recruits?"

Jack: "They're doing good, they have impressive fighting skills. However..."

Director Keith: "You don't like Static, am I correct?"

Jack: "You know how I feel about him sir. He doesn't show mercy to the criminals he kills."

Director Keith: "We've all killed, both ourselves and against nature. In a way, nature views us as murders. But, there's always a way to forgiveness."

Jack: "That doesn't change my view on him, sir."

Director Keith: "Maybe, but has he ever harmed you?"

Jack: "No..."

Jack turns around to leave.

Jack: "But it doesn't change the fact that he's a killer."

Jack leaves. Keith smiles and continues writing some papers.

AT CAL'S APARTMENT...

Cal was teleported to his apartment with a check.

Cal(Caliber): "Yeah! I got my first paycheck!"

Cal put away his outfit, took a shower and dressed into his sleeping clothes. Thunder and Grey came running at him and he played with them for a bit. He heard a knock on the door and went to open it.

Cal: "Jaruto?" He asked confused.

Jaruto: "Is it ok...if I stay for the night?"

Cal: "Sure, is there something wrong?"

Jaruto: "I don't really wanna talk about it yet..."

Cal looked at Jaruto's eyes. He was afraid. So Cal sighs, smiles and nods.

Cal: "Ok, you can take the couch and you could explain to me in the morning ok?"

Jaruto nods and soon they both went to sleep. Jaruto was sweating in his sleep but he managed. In his sleep, there was a purple glow in his chest.
