Cal sighs as he enters his apartment and sits on floor after coming from another long mission.

Cal: "I'm sooooo worn down...I could use a bath."

Before he could get up, both Grey and Thunder come at Cal start licking his face. Cal laughs as he tries to push them away.

Cal: "Hey boys! I missed you too! Heh heh."

As he was being licked on the face, he saw an envelope on the floor. He got up and picked it up. He saw the name of the sender.

Cal: "Katelynn?"

He went to sit on the couch and Grey and Thunder sat beside him. Cal opened the envelope and begins reading.

Dear Cal,
By the time you read this, I'll have already been on my way. I am going to the place where I was born, my kingdom. This is something I have to do, to truly understand the nature of my powers. I have to know everything there is about my kingdom. Maybe even one day I will reclaim it. You won't see me for a long time and I'll miss you and all our friends as I journey into lost territory. I hope you understand why I have to go. Don't worry, we'll see each other again. Until then, keep being the hero you always wanted to be.

Cal smiled a little bit felt mostly sad.

Cal: "Guess I was too busy to actually hang out with anyone...I wonder what's happened since I've been gone."

Cal yawns.

Cal: "Right now I need some sleep..."

Cal puts on his sleeping clothes and lays down on his bed and sleeps. Suddenly Cal, was standing upwards in his armor in dark void before he starts hearing explosions all around him and finds himself in a battlefield. Soldiers screaming and dying as they are cut down by many evil creatures of darkness: Malfested, Zombies, and other foreign enemies. Cal tries to save any soldiers that needed help and fought some Malfested, but then gets overrun by them and they brutally fight him. Then they suddenly get off of him and clear a path for a figure covered in shadow. The shadow man then crouches to meet Cal's beaten face. Then, more figures appeared and met Cal, and what he saw sent shivers down his spine and his eyes wide open.

Cal: "No..." He said fearfully.

Shadow man then grabbed Cal by the throat.

???: "Welcome to your worst nightmare..."

Cal then gets knocked out. Cal then sat straight up with a gasp and heavily breaths. He had a nightmare.

Cal: "What's happening to me..? Why am I getting so many dreams and nightmares?" He says as he puts his hands on his face.

He went to check what time it was and it was already morning. He groaned.

Cal: "Come on...I don't even feel well rested..."

He sleeps for a few minutes before getting a message from his communicator. It was from Jeff.

Jeff: Caliber, we're having a team meeting today at 1300. Get your gear and be there.

Cal: "So much for having the week off..." He sighs as he gets up from bed and changes into his armor.

G.A.P. HQ...

Cal makes it to the base and meets up with Jeff outside.

Cal(Caliber): "Hey Jeff, am I the first one here?"

Jeff: "Second, actually. Static got here early."

Cal(Caliber): "Wait for real?" Cal said as he could hardly believe it.

Jeff chuckles as he motions Cal to follow him. They walk to the training grounds and find Static waiting patiently for Cal.

Kaleb(Static): "About time you showed up."

Cal(Caliber): "Well well well, look who decided to show up in training early."

Kaleb(Static): "Heh heh, I only came here early because I knew you would be here first. So now we can continue to master your wolf transformation."

Cal then gets pumped up.

Cal(Caliber): "All right! Let's get to it then!" He said  enthusiastic.

Cal stands in front of Static from a small distance.

Kaleb(Static): "Remember, you must channel your emotions into power and then you can transform."

Kaleb then transforms into his wolf form, his tail and ears appearing.

Kaleb(Static): "Alright, now come at me." He says as he gets into a fighting stance.

Cal then starts getting into a running position and then runs towards Kaleb and he tries to aim at his legs, but Kaleb jumped over him and went to punch Cal from behind, but Cal dodged it and uppercut Kaleb, making him do a backflip in midair. When he landed, he threw several knives at Cal. Cal deflects the blades with his swords. He runs towards Kaleb with a kick to the chest, but Kaleb grabs hold of his leg and tossed him aside. Cal rolls on the ground and then gets kicked in the face by Kaleb.

Kaleb(Static): "Come on, that your best?" He says as he taunts Cal.

Cal seems to grow upset and a hint of a blue glow comes from his eyes. Kaleb noticed that and smiles. Cal runs around Kaleb and kicks him from behind and then quickly punches him from the front. Kaleb then throws a knife for Cal to dodge, but doesn't notice that Kaleb was about to punch him as he looked away.

Kaleb(Static): "You can do better than that!"

Cal(Caliber): "Just watch me!" He says frustrated.

Cal and Kaleb then run at each other.

ONE FLOOR ABOVE THE TRAINING GROUNDS...

Jack and Saren talk with each other.

Jack: "We'll be happy to have you around, Saren."

Saren: "Thanks for having me Captain. When do I get to meet with the rest of the team."

Jeff comes by.

Jeff: "Captain, Caliber and Static are already here and are training."

Jack: "And the others?"

Jeff: "Kai is on his way, Emily just arrived."

Jack: "Good." He says then looks at Saren. "Looks like you get to meet them now again."

Saren nods with a small smile.

As they head to the training grounds, they meet with Director Keith Samuels. Saren was surprised and had a dissatisfying look. Jack and Jeff both saluted to him.

Director Keith: "At ease, you may continue your duties."

As they passed him, Keith had something to say.

Director Keith: "Specialist Samuels, may I have a word with you?"

Saren stopped and didn't turn to look.

Jack: "We'll be waiting for you at the training grounds."

Jack and Jeff leave Saren and Keith alone. Saren sighs as he finally turns to Keith.

Saren: "You wanted to speak with me, sir?" He said with a serious attitude.

Director Keith: "I wanted to discuss the details of your previous mission." He said as he walked in front of him.

Saren: "And? What has the Intel department found?"

Director Keith: "We found that the documents and video recordings from the Avalan refugee camp was no refugee camp. It was a testing facility, and the people were sent by the kingdom of Avalan, as lab rats."

Saren: "Why would the kingdom send their own people as test subjects?" He said surprised.

Director Keith: "Here's the thing, the lower class of people were sent to this testing facility, while the higher most powerful people of Avalan were sent to a different location. From what we've discovered, the kingdom is trying to separate the strong from the weak."

Saren thought of the children that he met when he was sent on that mission. He grit his teeth as he now knew that the kingdom would sacrifice the weak just save their own skin.

Director Keith: "But the reason why they made a testing facility, was because they are making a biological weapon. To use against the rebels in their civil war."

Saren: "If we know this much, what are we gonna do about it? There's no way we're gonna just turn a blind eye."

Director Keith: "No, we are not. And as for what we're doing about it, I've already brought in your brother to join you on this mission. Also..."

A hooded figure appears from the shadows of the room. Saren draws his pistol at the figure.

Saren: "Who are you?! Identify yourself!"

Director Keith: "Son, put your gun down. This is the leader of the Avalan Rebels, Alan Crow."

Alan smirks.

Alan: "People home call me Robin Hood."

Saren puts away his pistol.

Saren: "What? You steal from the rich and give to the poor?"

Alan: "Yeah, when I was just a kid. Now instead of giving the poor money, I give them a revolution."

Saren: "What made you wanna cause a war?"

Alan looked away.

Alan: "The King in charged had taken many from the weak, and those who cannot stand for themselves. Years of constant abuse, lives ruined...I decided that we've had enough." He said as he grit his teeth a little.

Director Keith: "What matters now is that the kingdom of Avalan are now considered hostiles and we've decided to provide support to the rebel forces."

Saren: "Alright, when are we leaving?"

Director Keith: "Captain Jack's and Captain Samuels's teams will leave at 0600 tomorrow. In the meantime, get to know your team. You're dismissed."

Saren salutes to Keith and Keith and Alan talk with each other.

AT THE TRAINING GROUNDS...

Jack, Jeff, Emily, and Kai watch as Cal and Static were making fighting noises, still training with each other. Saren just arrived to see Kaleb kick Cal away. He stands next to Jack.

Saren: "How long have they been training?"

Jack: "No idea...maybe for like an hour."

Jeff: "They are certainly skilled, especially Cal. Who taught him in the Templar Order must one tough son of a gun."

Emily(Ms. Nova): "I wonder where Kaleb got his training."

Kai(Emerald Samurai): "Who knows, maybe you'll get to ask him.~" He says as he nudged Emily.

Cal then gets on all fours and then he begins growling.

Kaleb(Static): 'So that's what triggers it...' He thinks to himself.

Cal then dashes at Kaleb faster before Kaleb could defend himself. He punches Kaleb in the gut and sends him skidded on the ground.

Jeff: "Oof, that must hurt."

Jack smiles a little.

Emily goes to check on Kaleb.

Kai(Emerald Samurai): "That looked like fun, heh heh."

Saren's jaw dropped as he saw the power Cal possessed.

Kaleb sat up to see a good sight.

Kaleb(Static): "Heh, looks like you've finally got it."

Cal looked at himself.

Cal laughs out of shock.

Cal(Caliber): "I've finally got it!"

Kaleb walks up to him with a smile.

Kaleb(Static): "Now try going back to your normal form."

Cal then calmed down he went to his normal form. Then he then summoned his power as he struggled within himself and then turned back in his wolf form.

Cal(Caliber): "Now I've got the hang of of this!"

The other walked up to Cal.

Emily(Ms. Nova): "Wow, you look so cool Cal!"

Jeff: "I admit I'm impressed." He says as he nods.

Kai(Emerald Samurai): "Now we've got two wolves on our pack, heh heh."

Kaleb:(Static): "You did well on your training. Good job." He says with a thumbs up.

Saren watched as the others praised Cal and Cal rubbed his neck with a smile.

Saren: 'They really are something, huh?' He thought to himself as he smiled.

Jack then clapped loudly as he got the others attention.

Jack: "Alright team, shows over. Now let's get back to business..."

Jack explains the meaning of the team meeting. He briefs them with their next mission that they will have with another team. He even told the others that Saren is a part of their team. They welcomed Saren with jokes and smiles. After being told about the mission, they went to the barracks to rest up. Cal went outside to look at the night sky with a smile on his face.

Cal: "I've finally got the hang of the wolf transformation."

He then thinks of his friends back home, his mother, his dogs...and Katelynn. He thought about her.

Cal: "Maybe after we're done with this mission, I'll go find her...I hope she's ok."

Cal went to the barracks after taking one last look to the night sky with a smile.
