"Who's this Lightning Swordsmen in that book your reading," Yuno asks me

"The Lightning Swordsmen?" I ask her

"Yea, him," she says

"The book says he was a major help in clearing SAO," I tell her

"Is that all? I mean, how do you get a nickname like that," She asks me curiously.

"They say he is the fast player in SAO, faster then your eye could track him," I tell her residing her curiosity

"Hmm, man it would be cool to meet him," Yuno says

"I'm sure he is a pushover like The black Swordsmen in real life, I'm probably even faster then he is," I brag

Yuno looks at me with even more curiosity, "why didn't you appear in the book? You were in SAO were you not?"

"Only those who fought are remembered," I say as I look at a name that's foreign to me...Jenn, I wonder how a little kid made it in this book.

(Y/N) POV

"Kazuto what do you want, you dragged me away from my precious video games," I say as he stands against a light pole.

"I think I have it figured out," He says

"What did you find out?" I ask

"The reason behind disappearing memories," Kazuto goes on

"Yea?" I ask him a little interested

"Listen, I think when you die in Ordinal scale, your memories go to a drone looking thing after the Augma scans your brain," He says

"Yea......i totally understand," I say unsure

"Listen, it doesn't make sense to me either, why would they want to do such a thing, it just doesn't make sense. Furthermore, it seems to only affect Past Players of SAO, and only their memories of the game are scanned, and as a result, they lose those memories after the scan is complete," Kazuto continues

"Ok, but why does this only affect you when you die?" I ask him

"I did some digging, I guess when you see things of the past, your brain becomes more active in the area where those memories are stored...with the bosses from SAO, it reminds players of their time in SAO so that's when the Scan is done," Kazuto explains.

"Ok? What are we supposed to do about it?" I ask him

Kazuto looks down

"There's a big concert tomorrow, most of our friends are going," he says

"Yea, I remember Kate talking about something like that, I told her to hold off on it though....she didn't listen. Told me she was going with the gang," I say laughing

"I've been told to meet Eiji in the parking lot," Kazuto says

"Yea?" I ask him confused

"He said he can restore Asuna's memories," Kazuto says

"Can he, now?" I ask skeptically

"It's the only lead I have, but the downside is he....is surprisingly quick," Kazuto says as I start smirking

"And you want me to show him who's king when it comes to speed," I say smiling

Kazuto smirks back

"I'm in, James has been feeling under the weather with Riley losing her SAO memories," I tell him

"Yea," he says under his breath

"I'm all in, I'll tell Kate I'm tagging along," I tell him

He smiles and says thank you before I head home again. Recently there's been a lot of action. James practically never leaves Riley alone. And she barely remembers anything of SAO. It must be hard.

Just thinking of forgetting about SAO is soul-crushing. My mind wanders off, would it be better to forget?...would all the pain and suffering disappear with your memories......no, my mind wonders to Jenn when she saved Kirito...it would be like she never existed in my world, if I forget.

I came to the conclusion that every experience should be remembered....even the bad ones.

As I reach home, my mind continues to think, how does this make sense. Why would they do this?

My mind wonders into the night.....and eventually, I fell asleep

I wake up and told Kate I'd be coming along. They said they'd be leaving soon so I better get ready and meet up with them.

Right on time, we all arrive at the meeting place. I realize we are a rather large group actually. Kirito and I nod at each other knowing what to do later

We make our way toward the concert, I guess this Idol called Yuno has really become popular. All the girls and guys are talking about is about her

"What do you think?" Carter ask me about Yuno

"I don't listen to music much," I say as their jaws drop. Everyone but Kate looked surprised

"You guys seriously didn't know," Kate says surprised

"Who doesn't listen to music!" Rika asks me

"I mean, I listen to it, but I don't at the same time, you know," I say

"Himiko, I think we need to consider and doubt (Y/N)s affiliation with MindSwords," Carter says as Himiko agrees

"You got to kidding," I say

"Nope," Himiko says

"Fine I like ____ kind of music," I say to settle the argument.

We reached the stadium and look for our seats.

"I'm gonna grab popcorn," I tell the others as they look at me strangely

"What?" I ask

"Popcorn?.....at a music concert," They ask me

"Why not?" I say as I make my way down to the parking lot. Kazuto had a head start but I was only 3 minutes behind. I put on my Augma and got ready.

When I opened the door, I saw a cloud of dust and Kazuto talking to someone I thought must be Eiji

"Yo! The Calvary is here!" I say smiling

The dust cloud settles and a Guy wearing a Black and Purple suit is looking at me

He smirks," How nice for the Lightning Swordsmen to appear," He says as he readies to attack

"Bring it," I smirk as I ready my own sword

He charges me very fast....faster then I was expecting. Kirito wasn't lying, he was fast.

I manage to block the first strike, as I struggle to block the following blows

"What's wrong, can't fight without assistants from the Virtual world," He taunts me

"Na," I say as I parry one of his strikes. I dodge low and as his sword soars above me, I grab his arm and throw him over my shoulder. He drops his weapon and by the time he realizes what happened, my sword is against his skin

"Looks like someone underestimated me," I say as I smirk

He looks at me with hatred, "damn it," he says

"Oy, Kirito, Imma head back, I'll let you take care of this turtle," I say as I walk away.

When I returned to the stadium, all hell had broken loose, everyone was fighting bosses from SAO.....wait I thought this was a concert. I look around for our group to see the Gleam Eyes, eyeing them.

"Long time no see!" I say as I easily cut his head off....that's was shockingly easy

"(Y/N)!" Kate says as she hovers over Riley and Asuna

"What's going on?" I ask confused

"We don't know, all of a sudden the room went black and then Bosses started appearing," Himiko explains. Kazuto comes rushing in to see the result and he quickly tracks us down

"Kazuto, I'm going to try and help the players, you should figure out what is happening!" I say as I charge into the fray

It seems my special ability follows me where I go. I may not be so fast you can't see me, but my reaction time is significantly better than everyone else, as a result, I'm just able to do things faster than anyone else. I chop up bosses as if they were normal enemies.

They were nothing like in SAO, these guys are all weak. I can one-shot half of them. I spent a good few minutes running around chopping enemies, but no matter what, there would always be more

I look where Kazuto and the others should be to see them taking a nap.

"I wanna sleep," I say as I make my way to them, chopping up bosses on my way there.

When I arrived, Asuna and Riley were still awake as a girl that looked like Yuno was shielding them

"What's up?" I ask as Asuna starts explaining. So they went in to fight the Boss of Bosses," I ask

"Kinda?" Riley says awkwardly

"You two aren't planning to join in are you?" I ask them as they look at me guilty

"I'll go in, you two stay out," I say as the girl shielding us did something to my Augma.

I went in

I started by flying in the air, looking down, I could see the boss they were fighting....and wow was she huge.

As I fell through the sky, I felt familiar, I looked down to my person to see I had all of my SAO gear.

"If that's the case," I say as I think. I always had kept this hidden. I remember when Jenn died and I used my trump card....my Lightning Skill. The skill has a lot more to it then what I displayed. I focus on it, I close my eyes and focus

I focus on a bright flash, a booming thunderous sound, the smell of rain, hurricane winds, and the clouds of darkness.

I feel it condensing into my body.

I open my eyes...and I'm at peace as I fall through the sky. I'm reminded of hardships, but I feel at peace

I stare at my giant opponent, as I ready to strike.

Then, I release everything I gathered.

The sky lights up, the air shakes as a thunderous boom starts, the sky starts pouring down water, the speed of the wind picks up. And the sky darkens. The sign of Lightning is here.

I strike the giant boss with my most powerful attack, and instantly as I strike. A bright light appears, alongside a loud boom.

I'm not sure if my skill caused it, or the death of the boss. The room clears up and there's silence. A peaceful silence. The Boss is dead

I look around to see everyone looking at me, to my surprise, it wasn't just Kazutos friends and MindSword in here. I saw Sayuka, Zeliska and many other players from MMOs.

I smirk

"Who's King now," I say out loud to the deceased boss

A huge magic circle thing appears and a giant sword forms. I nod for Kirito to take it and as he does, Kayaba's voice speaks out loud to Kirito, then we return to the stadium..th the real world. Kirito then whoops every bosses ass to the moon and back. And The girl protecting is as we dived in, suddenly began singing

When everything was cleared, the lights went on, and she came up with us. She spoke a bit, then puts her hand on Asuna's face

" was that an emotional rollercoaster that I don't understand," I ask as she disappears. Kazuto and the others then proceed to look at me

"What?" I ask clueless

"How....how'd you do that back there, you know...the Lightning, the thunder, even the storm for Pete sake," Himiko asks

"I did it like I always do, this time I didn't hold back," I tell them. They look at me dead founded

"What I've only used it twice including this time, at the end of SAO I held back massively to not deafen you guys and not to get squashed on the wall after I killed Heathcliff....plus it's not like I could have unleashed that powerful of an attack without access to the sky," I say

Kate looks at me like I'm crazy

"What?" I ask

"You didn't bother to tell us," Carter says

"Umm," I say unsure how to respond

"You pay us big time, you could kill any boss in SAO with that," James says

"No, I could not, I can't use it in tight and underground spaces," I tell them. All boss fights in SAO mostly happen indoors

They all sigh

Asuna perks up," I remember!"

We look at her like she is crazy

"SAO, I remember it," She continues

Riley speaks up too," I do as well,"

"That solves that matter," I say as I turn to leave

I didn't want to get out of bed today anyway, Imma take a nap
