I feel someone move behind as I turn around to look at them

Blue eyes under strains of blue hair meet mine as we stared at each other. She's my angel. She's always has been.

"Good morning dear," She says smiling

"Good mornin' Kate," I as we embrace

"It's so peaceful," I mutter

"Yea, I wish we could stay like this," She whispers into my ear

"But it's time for you to wake up," she finishes as I once again up my eyes and gasp for air. My body fills with pain as I move around. I stop moving and try to relax

"Ah fu--," I yell as pain pulses through me

"Stay still sir!" I hear someone yell as I blackout from the pain

"Come on (Y/N) I'm sure you can't play tag just a little," A little redhead kid says

"I guess I could, for a bit, Jenn," I say as I crouch down

"I don't think you can...don't you have places to be," She says as she suddenly disappears.

Pain renters my body as I tense up

"Ahhhhh!" I scream in pain as I once again pass out

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Where are you!" I boy yells as I hide behind a tree

"I'll will find you, ya know," he mutters as silence follows. I looked toward his direction to see where he went. That was until I saw him staring at me a few inches away from my face. I get frightened and stumbled to the ground

"Max you scared the shit out me," I say as he starts laughing

"Found ya," He says between giggles as I glow red from embarrassment

"I'll get you in a few minutes!" I say as he stops

"No, you can't follow me to where I am.....you have things to do first, ' Max says as I wake up in a dark room

I lay in utter defeat. I curl into a ball, and I just let it out. I feel so lonely. Tears pour from my eyes as I sob. I miss them

I miss Max

I miss Jenn

I miss Kate

I miss everyone!

I'm so lonely and I just can't bare it

I thought I would have been fine

But I was wrong

I feel so lonely without them

I sob for a few minutes until someone enters the room

"Your alive," I hear someone mutter

"____" I move my mouth to speak by its so dry I can't

"Here...some water," The person says as I feel my hand press against the glass.

I slowly raise it to my lips and take a sip

"Thank you," I mutter

"Your welcome," They say as they leave. The door lets in some light and I can identify them as a maid.

The door shuts...and once again I'm in the darkness.

I slowly sit upright and hop onto my feet. Before I could get out of bed, the door once again opens revealing a shabby middle-aged man.

"(Y/N) it's nice to see you again," I hear a man say. Just from his tone, I could tell he was Vixur

"Ah, Vixur, how are you?" I ask as he walks in and turns on the light. My eyes squint

"I'm doing well, how are you feeling?" He asks as he grabs a chair and sits down. I look around the room to see it's rather small and has just a bed and the chair Vixur is sitting on

"I'm ok, what happened?" I ask confused

"You and the King had a world-class battle, he took you by surprised at the end and almost damned near killed you," Vixur says calmly

"Ah, I see, how long has it been?" I ask

"About 3 months, we had to use very advanced healing magic to help you. In the end, it worked," He explains

"3 months," I mutter

"Yea, you were pretty badly hurt when my people found you," He says

"Speaking of which? Shouldn't Kirito's army have picked me up?" I ask

"No, my troops grabbed you before they could," He says

"And your troops are?" I ask

"We are a group of people who oppose Kirito's direction that he is taking this country in," He says

"Ah..., " I mutter

"So like...a Rebellion?" I ask as Vixur thinks

"I guess you could call it that," He says

"And you want me to join?" I say

He looks at me with assuring eyes

"Yes...." He says

"Deal," I mutter as he looks at me in Disbelief

"That easy?" He asks

"That easy," I repeat as he looks like he just had 100 pound weights lifted off his shoulders

"I thought you would be a tougher nut to crack," He jokes

"Meh," I mutter as I think

"So what's the plan?" I ask as he begins explaining

Basically, we are going to set Kirito straight. We are gonna ride into the Capitol on our high horse and slap him a few times. Easier said then done. I've heard plans involving sewers, trailers filled with hay. Anything you can think of

"Make me a ramp, and I'll fly there," I offer he looks at me like I'm crazy

"You're still recovering!" He says as I lie in bed

"This doesn't need to happen tomorrow now does it," I say assertively as I state facts. They can happen in 10 years for Pete's sake. We have plenty of time to prepare

"I guess," He mutters

"Wonderful, what direction is my home," I ask as I slowly get out of bed

"You can't be moving right now," Vixur says concerned

"I can take care of myself," I say

"Head south, you'll reach it in 30 minutes," Vixur says as walk slowly

My body is sore from being inactive for 3 months. At first, my body hurt. But has I walked more, the sores went away and I felt brand new.

I finally reach my village. I imagined Kirito has me as a wanted man. So I better hide my face where I can. I sneak to my house in the countryside.

I spot some lights on. I look around and see it's already getting dark, I guess I just noticed.

I walk to the door and knock.

Much to my pleasure, familiar faces greeted me

"(Y/N), nice to see ya," Karp says as he drags me inside

"I thought you'd be dead," He says surprised

"Still kickin', " I Say as he looks at me

"Have you looked in the mirror, you look like a wreck," Karl says

"Thanks for the compliment," I say as I walk to a mirror. I reach the bathroom, and my arms and legs are covered in bandages. My face still looks swelled as I have long (H/C) that goes to my shoulders.

I start washing my self up as I cut my hair and shave. I leave the bathroom to be greeted by Kent. Kent still looks like your normal construction worker. Short hair, big build.

"You are alive after all, I knew you could take the beating," Kent says

"How'd you know how bad the beating was?" I ask

"I was shown a video, I guess someone recorded the event with one of those new camera things," He says

"Oh...yea those," I say remembering cameras are a thing now

"The fight was so fast you couldn't really see anything but when you two stopped to talked," Kent goes on

"Yea, I figured that's how'd it would look," I mutter

"Where's Angalo?" I ask as Kent smiles widely

"Dennis took her in, I guess after you disappeared she was broken. She's recovering slowly but seeing you would lift a massive weight off her," Kent explains

"Ok, well, I can't stay for long. Nice seeing you two again," I say as I leave

I make my way to Dennis's house quietly. And knock on the door.

I wait for a bit until it opens

"Hello?" A woman asks as she sees me, I hold my finger over my mouth to tell her to be quiet.

"Hello, Kia, is Angalo here?" I ask Dennis's Mother

"Ah, it's great to see you," She whispers as she invites me

"We were just having dinner," She says as I walk in. I take my shoes off and sneak around the small house. It was cozy, it had pictures of Dennis and her late husband.

I snuck to the dining room and Angalo was face down and eating her meal. Dennis noticed me and was about to say something but I silenced him like I did his mother.

I sneak behind Angalo and lightly grabbed her shoulders

"I'm back from the dead," I whisper into her ear. She gets startled and Her head whips up and nails my nose 

"Oh my god!" She yells before looking behind her

"Don't scare me like th--," She begins to say as she realizes who I am. She quiets down as she stares me down

"You have a hard head," I mutter as she rubs her eyes

She turns to Dennis and asks," Is this real?"

He nods as she looks at me again

"Come on, give me a hug or something," I say as she stands up. I open my arms for a hug, but I'm met with something very different.

Instead of a hug, she kicks me where the sun doesn't shine.

I feel my soul escape my body as I hold my crotch and sink to the floor

"That's what you get for leaving me for 3 months," She says with tears

"Now, now," I grunt out as my whole body is still in pain

"Do you know how I felt knowing you might be dead," she says sobbing

"Me...dead...not gonna happen, sweetheart," I say as the pain slowly starts easing

"Hmph," She says sitting down. Once I finally raise, I spot Dennis grinning like a mad man

"What are you grinning at," I mutter as he says nothing

"Come on, sit down," Kia says I take a sit

Angalo's face looks stressed. But her eyes show relief

"So, what's happened in my absence," I ask

"I got better even though the King said I was doomed," Kia says

"And the towns been quiet since you disappeared," Dennis adds

"Of course," I say grinning

"So what's gonna happened now?" Angalo asks

"Well, I'm going to have leave again, but I assure you I will return," I say as she remembers something.

"Just wait for a second!" She says as she runs off. She later returns with something in her hands

I recognized it as my sword

"Oh, they gave it to you?" I ask

"Yea," she grumbles

I look at it and then grab it

"Thank you, I better get going now," I say

"Ok...bye..have a safe journey," She says almost bittersweetly

"I promise you, I'll give you this sword again. When I return, this sword will be yours," I say

"Deal," She says smiling

"Bye," I say as I leave the house
