(Y/N) POV

I didn't get much sleep last night. Mom and Dad went with Cooper on a school trip. Last night was so exhausting my body is just hurting so much, I guess that guy did more then I thought he did. I was headed to school when I went around the corner and bumped into someone.

"O, my bad," I say as I look at them.....shit

"What are you going to do to make it right?" The punk from yesterday says

"Babe, this is what I would do for you," he says to the girl next to him as he punches me. I didn't fall down, but I was surely stunned. I could hear him pick something up, and when I could see clearly I saw what it was.

It was a metal pipe, and it was in motion toward my head. As soon has it hit me, it was lights out.

When I woke up, it was as if I had woken up from SAO again. The room was so white it hurt my eyes.

"Your awake," a nurse says

"Yea...where am I?" I ask

"You're in the school's infirmary," she answers plainly

"How'd I get here," I say as I suddenly feel tons of pain

"Looks like the painkiller is wearing off," the nurse mutters

"A kind girl found you in an alleyway and brought you here," the nurse says answering my question

"O, who?" I ask

"She didn't say," the nurse continues.

I got an alert from my phone, I check it and it's from the group chat that Himiko asked us to join. Everyone was asking where I was. I look at the time to see that school is already over. I must have been asleep for at least 8 hours. I reply to everyone saying I'm fine and I was just sick.

"So, can I leave?" I ask

"No, you need someone from your family to pick you up," she says

"Well, my parents aren't home, they are on a trip," I protest

"I guess you're not going home," she says, what a bitch

"I need to go home though, my sister is there and I need to take care of her," I say

"If your sister is home then have her pick you up," the nurse says

"God, this is stupid," I say as I text Abby. She hasn't left the house in ages, I don't think she will agree.

"Abby, can you pick me up from school, I'm kinda stuck in the nurse's office," I type

"Are you ok!? I'll come, just stay where you are," she replies. That is certainly a surprise. This is so embarrassing.

"So," the nurse asks

"She is coming," I say in shame

"Good, I can leave now," She says as she waits for Abby to arrive.

A girl with (H/C) hair arrives in the doorway.

"(Y/N) are you alright," Abby asks

"Yea I'm fine, the only thing wrong is that I'm a captive, let's go," I say as I walkout

"Don't get beat again," the nurse yells out, I ignore her.

"You look even worse than yesterday!" Abby scolds me

"Some unforeseen circumstances happened," I say

"You look terrible," she comments

"I feel worse," I complain.

On our way home, a kid about Abby's age appears in front of us

"Hey! Your Abby! Your that girl That I always called ugly! I see nothing has changed!" The kid says smugly

"You have a death wish?" I say overlooking him

"Your the one with the death wish," a guy says coming around the corner.....it's the fucking same guy who beat me up.

"You again, now your picking on my little brother as you try and defend your piece of shit little sister," He says smirking

"You know...you really are that piece of shit that came out of your mother's ass," I say insulting him

"What did you say!" He says clearly trigger

"You heard me, O yea, I guess shit doesn't have ears," I continue.

"I'm going to beat the hell out of you, then I'm going to bend your little sister over and cleanse her of her dignity," he says walking toward.

"The biggest mistake you'll make," I say ready for a fight. My body ached all over, but this time. I'm not going to let him trample me.

He sends the first punch, dumb mistake. I take his fist and turn around placing his hand over my shoulder. I then throw his whole body over mine and he hits the pavement hard.

"You bastard!" He yells as he tries to get up. Before he can, I kick his head like I would a soccer ball. I guess something can get to his thick brain because he was knocked out cold.

"You were saying," I say to him with no real point since he can't hear.

"Listen here kid, when your brother gets up, tell him. Next time he will get more than a kick to the head," I say in a threatening tone.

"O-o-o-k" the kid says shaken up

"Come on," I say to Abby who is speechless

When we got home, I headed to the kitchen to make something. When I was done, I called for Abby but she didn't respond. I headed up to her room and knocked a few times. I called her name a few more times and knocked harder. Eventually, I slowly opened the door, and I was shocked at what I saw

Abby was lying in her bed with her lights off with something on her head. I checked it out and it looked like one of those new VR headsets like the nerve gear. I forget the name of it. Using my knowledge of VR, I figured I could wake her up. So I unplugged her headset and she jolted awake.

"Yo," I say in the back corner where it was plugged.

"Why would you unplug it!?" Abby says a little mad.

"Dinner is ready," I respond.

"Plug it back in," she says with a straight face.

"What are you playing?" I ask as I plug it in.

"Alfheim Online," she says before going back in her virtual world

"Ummm, ok," I say leaving her room. I ate dinner alone after I was done I wrapped up Abby's dinner and shoved it in the fridge. I went to bed not looking forward to tomorrow.

I wonder what dream I'll get tonight.
