"Let the match begin!" As the gong sounded, signaling the start of the match, the crowd erupted in cheers. Half of the arena cheered for Sabertooth and the other half cheered for Fairy Tail.

"Finally!" Ashley sighed, her fingers twitching in excitement. She held a large grin on her face, her blue eyes having somewhat of a crazed look in them. "C'mon, Rogue!" She stepped forward with her left leg, but her eyes widened in shock when she saw Jasmine and Gajeel already charging toward them.

Not having time to react and dodge, Gajeel successfully punched Rogue in the jaw and Jasmine successfully kicked Ashley's cheek.

Both Sabertooth wizards were sent flying backwards.

The members of Fairy Tail cheered for their comrades making the first move, as did other Fairy Tail fans.

Rogue slid his feet against the ground to halt any further movement backwards. Raising his right hand, he covered it with shadows and charged forward to his opponent.

"Shadow Dragon's Slash!"

Upon becoming closer to his enemy, he brought his hand down and aimed it at Gajeel. However, the Fairy Tail Mage blocked the attack by turning his arm into an iron saw.

Gajeel smirked, an idea popping into his head. He used his iron saw to his advantage and swung it, sending Rogue flying to the left of the field.

Meanwhile, Ashley, similarly to Rogue, halted herself from flying back further, but instead of using her feet she decided to use her hands. She performed a handstand-like move, digging her nails into the sandy ground to halt her movements. Once she successfully came to a stop, she let her feet hit the ground and then proceeded to attack Jasmine.

"Water Dragon's Roar!"

A cyclone of water came from Ashley's mouth, going straight toward Jasmine at a rapid speed. The Fairy Tail Mage quickly dodged the attack by leaning to the opposite side, the water going past her head and hitting the arena's brick wall and leaving some major cracks in it.

"So that girl is a Water Dragon Slayer?" Erza concluded while watching the match.

"I didn't even know one existed." Gray commented.

Laxus stared down at the field, not taking his eyes off of the tanned lightning wizard who was fighting the blue haired and blue eyed Sabertooth wizard. He knew that Jasmine could take care of herself, but he still had the overwhelming urge to jump down there and fight along side her.

"Woah, would you look at that!?" The announcer exclaimed, "Sabertooth is completely at the mercy of Fairy Tail! Will the match end like this?"

Currently on the battlefield, Rogue and Ashley were on their knees with their heads hung low while Gajeel and Jasmine stood before them, glaring down at them like they were insects.

"No way in the world this match is ending like this." Rogue growled, staggering to his feet.

"Exactly." Ashley agreed, standing as well. "I'm going to keep fighting until the Lightning Empress begs for mercy!" Or until she stops breathing. Whichever comes first. She smirked at Jasmine as she unleashed all of her power; Rogue doing the same.

The crowd became quiet as an intense amount of pressure and tension began to build up. The members of Sabertooth smirked to themselves, knowing very well what was happening right now.

"I guess it's all over now." Sting mumbled with a bored expression on his face.

On the battlefield, the Sabertooth Mages were surrounded by their magic power as scales began to appear on their skin. Black scales and a black magical aura covered Rogue completely in respect to his magic; blue scales and a blue magical aura covered Ashley completely in respect to her magic.

"What the . ." Gajeel stared at his opponents in awe, his words trailing off.

"Dragon Force." Jasmine mumbled, her brows furrowed in aggravation and concern. She had yet to achieve and unlock that ability herself, something that she was now secretly jealous of. She remembered Jupiter telling her about dragon force shortly before he disappeared.

"Dragon Force is the ability of a Dragon Slayer to use their powers at an equal level to the Dragons. You will take on the outward look of a dragon as well as a drastic power increase. You will be able to fight on par with an actual dragon."

Even though Jupiter told her what Dragon Force was, he didn't tell her how to activate it. And that aggravated her.

"I hope you're ready, Jasmine." Ashley warned with a sadistic smirk on her face.

I have complete faith in you! A certain blond internally shouted from the Team Fairy Tail balcony, staring at his crush.

And then it began . .

Ashley rushed forward, with speed that made her normal self look like a snail, and punched Jasmine in the stomach. Her fist was covered in water and upon inpact, she sent a wave of water crashing onto Jasmine. The Lightning Empress was sent flying back, much to the entire Fairy Tail guild's surprise.

"Ja-" Gajeel attempted to call out to his teammate, but Rogue appeared behind him as a shadow and kicked him in the back of the head.

"Keep your eyes on your opponent, Gajeel." Rogue hissed in his shadowy form. "Though, you can't catch a shadow." With a smirk, Rogue disappeared and Gajeel was left frustrated.

Ashley smirked in satisfaction that she able to finally land a hit on her opponent. However, Jasmine suddenly appeared an inch from her face, making her eyes go wide.

"Did you forget?" Jasmine growled, glaring darkly at her opponent. "I'm as fast as lightning. You can't outdue me in speed."

"We'll see about that!" Ashley declared.

In a flash, both females were gone and moving at an incredible speed that couldn't be caught by the naked eye.

"Where'd they go!?" Gray exclaimed, his jaw agape in shock.

"So fast." Erza muttered, also astonished.

Meanwhile, Gajeel was having a difficult time landing a hit on Rogue. It was truly hard to land a hit on something that isn't physical. Rogue's shadow form kept slipping through his fingers, literally.

The battle was now in favor of the Sabertooth guild.

Rogue appeared in front of Gajeel again, but this time in his normal, human form. Gajeel moved to attack, but Rogue suddenly jumped backwards as if sensing something.

A mere second later, a body knocked into Gajeel and the two wizards tumbled to the ground.

"Let's do it now!" Ashley demanded, appearing next to Rogue.

"Right." The male replied with no expression or emotion on his face whatsoever.

Ashley and Rogue held hands, their fingers intertwined together as if they were lovers. But upon having their hands bonded, the ground began to rumble and their joined hands began to glow white.

Jasmine groaned as she raised herself off of Gajeel and rolled over next to him. But seeing Rogue and Ashley joined surprised her. "Get up." She demanded, pounding her fist into her teammate's side.

"OW!" Gajeel shouted, glaring slightly at the woman. "You-"

"No time!" Jasmine hissed while in the process of standing up.

"Water-Shadow Dragon's Waxwing Typhoon!"

A large explosion erupted, causing the entire arena to shake and vibrate. It was completely silent as everyone waited for the dusty air to clear. All eyes were glued to the battlefield and everyone was leaning forward in their seats.

It was anticipating and the suspense was noteworthy. But jaws dropped, especially from the Fairy Tail guild, when the air was finally clear and they could see what had happened.

Gajeel and Jasmine were face down on the ground while their opponents stood before them. Their clothes were torn in various places, showing open cuts and purple bruises.

And they were unresponsive - not even twitching.
