Rebecca walked up the stairs the next day to find her younger brother in the guest room with the door open. She sighed. He was sitting with his forehead against the wall and he was making the slightest of noises, seemingly upset.
"Hey, little bro. What's wrong?" Rebecca asked softly.
"...boy problems..." the younger Barnes child muttered. "I wouldn't have come here, but I needed to sleep, otherwise... I would've fallen asleep while traveling..."
"Yeah, that would've been bad. I'm glad you came to me." Rebecca said, kneeling next to Bucky and placing a hand in between his shoulder blades. Bucky flinched away, not wanting her to find out about his wings.
"Yeah, I ought to get going now." Bucky said, standing up. There were blood vessel marks by his eyes and he was sporting tear tracks and bags under his eyes. His nose was stuffy and he looked miserable.
"No, Bucky. You have to take a shower and take some time to calm down. I don't think it's safe for you to travel by yourself when you are completely miserable. I'm sorry." Rebecca commanded. Bucky tried to give her an angry look, but he couldn't bring himself to glare at his older sister.
"O-okay." Bucky said weakly.
