Portals And Pyschos
(A/N: Geez, here we go again! Bring it on!)
Herobrine's POV
It had been a year since we'd gone to Notch's dimension. Blaze and Sky had grown closer and Derp and Ssundee were inseperable. Emily and I loved each other if not more than before, knowing our time could be running out sooner than we thought. There had been no trace of Deadlox, and that made me even more nervous. Knowing he could be anywhere...just waiting to strike...it made me shudder. It was cold in the cave as I dressed and grabbed my diamond sword on the way out. I slipped the Essence into my back pocket and stepped out into the warm morning sunshine. I sighed as I watched the Minecraftians and villagers rebuilding their houses. I felt so bad about that...yet, now I still wondered what had possessed me. I decided to take the rougher route and slid down the rubble and boulders on the cliff below me; landing amongst a cluster of stalagmites. I shut my eyes and teleported to the lake. I didn't want any villagers seeing me. Standing by the cool water I took a deep breath and began to wade into it. I had a hunch that something was going on under the surface that didn't want to be found. Then I plunged into the water. Instantly I felt vibrations traveling through the water from the lake's bottom. I trod water for a few minutes, then closed my eyes and focused on a squid. The image was in my head and it grew sharper and more focused as I shape-shifted. I opened my eyes, breathing in the water like it was oxygen. Tentacles swished around me and behind me as I angled myself downwards and spiralled down into the murky depths. It grew darker and the water colder until I reached the bottom of the lake. I surveyed the water around me. Nothing, then I heard an almighty roar that shook me to the bone. A pair of glowing purple eyes glared at me; I just managed to make out an End portal before a force like a TNT cannon hit me and I sped up out of the water a lot faster than I'd come down.
Sky's POV
I hummed to myself as I walked along the shore. "Cus baby toniiiiiight, grab your pick, shovel and bolt agaiiin!" Then I jumped backwards with my trademark scream as a squid shot out of the water in front of me. "AHHHHH! SQUID!!" I automatically stabbed it. To my horror I realised it had white eyes. "Oops." It changed back into Herobrine who healed the stab wound and glared at me. "Why? Just why?" "I thought you were a squid." He face-palmed. "Hey! You looked like one!" "Sky? Where'd you go?" "I'm over here! I found Herobrine!" Blaze and Emily came out of the woods behind us. "Hero...gods we were so worried!" "Where'd you go dood?" Ssundee jogged over, Derp at his side. "There's an End portal at the bottom of the lake." "Oh, yeah...um, Notch told me this might happen." We stared at Derp. "What? He did!" "Can't we destroy it?" "There's an Enderdragon guarding it." "Can't we kill it? I did it once when I traveled to the End. Requires some mean PVP skills mind you." "I don't think so Blaze." Derp thought for a minute, then grinned. It kinda freaked me out a bit, made him look even more like a pyscho. Not that I'd tell Ssundee...he'd probably kill me. "I think I know how!" We followed him back it the cave. He rummaged around in a chest for a bit, then found what he was looking for. "We create another portal and travel to the End, slay the dragon, and destroy the other portal. Now it was my turn to grin. "I get it, we're on the same map, so there's only one Enderdagon." Derp nodded. "Hold up." Ssundee looked confused. "What?" "I'm confused." I walked over to him. "Basically, we go through the portal, kill the dragon, and teleport back here to destroy the first portal. So, portal, kill, portal, destroy, got it?" He grinned and nodded. "Cool." "Lezzgo!" "Hey Blaze! Wait for me!" I ran after her as Herobrine led the way out of the cave.
