I stare at Jacob's  shocked face blankly. I mean it was obvious I was going to his house live with him, why else would I be going? To hang? Ha bitch no.

"Adeline I don't think my parents are going to allow that." He says. I widen my eyes and look at him. Is he telling me no?

"Jacob, are you telling me no?" I asked glaring at him. He shuffles around awkwardly before speaking.

"Um no, I'm sure they'll be fine with the idea of my girlfriend living with us," Jacob says smiling back at me.

My face instantly brightens and I smile widely at him and turn back around walking to his house. We arrive like thirty seconds later because his house is literally like next door and we prance in.

"MOM I'M HOME!" I yell and get no response.

"MOM I SAID I'M HOME!" I yell more aggressively this time and there's still no response. It's started to make me a bit aggravated that my mother isn't answering the calls from her loving daughter.

"She's not your mom," Jacob tells me before leading me up the stairs into his room. "Even if she was then our relationship would be incest."

"What if I like incest?" I question him.

"You like incest to?!" He asks excitedly. I look at him weirdly and slowly shake my head. Jacob shifts awkwardly and changes the topic.

"Soooooo what do we do now?" He asks dragging out his words. He looks really uncomfortable and I almost find myself caring but then I realize that I don't. 

"Well, I don't really have any clothes or a phone. I don't have anything really now that I think about it. It's all at my house." I say coughing still a little weirded out by the incest thing but I decided to let it go like the good Christian child that I am.

"We should steal it back." Jacob states.

I gasp dramatically. Finally, something useful comes out of his mouth. "You're finally useful for once in your life Jacob I'm proud of you," I said beaming. I grab his hand prepared to run out of the house and towards my own but then a thought came to me. "Breaking into my house would work much better in the dark," I tell Jacob and he nods in agreement.

"Okay then what are we going to do until then?" he questions me. I think deeply for a bit and remember when I saw an ad for a Shrek convention.

"We're going to the Shrek convention." I don't even wait for Jacob to answer because even if doesn't want to go I'll still go without him. I grab Jacob's skateboard and vroom vroom down the stairs and out the door not caring if Jacob was even following me.

Sadly, he was.

*time skip to the convention because I'm too lazy to write the plot of them skating there

My eyes brightened at the sight of the convention. It was one of the best things I've seen in my life. Jacob and I run excitedly towards the front entrance. We just barely get to the front before I feel a strong force pull me back.

Before I even have the chance to fight back something hits me against the head and I fade out.
