I walked out to the arena after that pep talk. It was time for my match against Shu. There was no doubt he was a strong blader. But that didn't mean he couldn't be beaten.

In fact I got a little help from an unexpected person. You see yesterday while I was running here in the training center in bey arena, I ran into Lui.

I was expecting a cold greeting, and although I received his ever present death gaze, he had something to say to me.

"So you're Valt's girlfriend?" he smiled.

"Why do people keep saying that?" I sighed hiding my blush.

"There's no point in hiding it." he offered.

"What do you want?" I said trying to move on the conversation.

"I have to admit, you've grown a lot in such a short time. You and your bey definitely have bonded together." he nodded to B/N. "You know, Free told me about you. He said when you first arrived there was something about your aura. The potential in you, he actually asked me to help you on the left rotation attack part of your bey."

No way! Lui Shirosagi wanted to teach me with my left rotating attack?

Free had taught me how to control the left rotating stamina, Valt helped clockwise attack and Shu helped with clockwise stamina. 

We spent the whole day training to master my power. And by the end of the day, we were ready.

"Okay boys and girls! It's time for the first match of the semi-finals!" the announcer cheered as Shu and I walked out to the stage. "The dark horse of this tournament Y/N will be taking on a favorite Shu Kurenai!" 

I took a deep breath. No need to get nervous, you've earned your spot here.

"This will be first to three points! The winner moves unto the finals! Ready? And set!"

"3, 2, 1, let it rip!" 

We launched, I started in clockwise attack. "Hit him with all you got B/N!" 

Both achieved their hyper-flux, B/N was already in position for an attack similar to a rush launch. 

"Go!" I yelled.

It slammed into Spryzen, I cheered to myself, this was going all according to plan.

"Spryzen! Counter break!" 

Uh oh... I was not prepared for that...

"Crimson Spryzen with a ring out finish, the score is 1-0!"

I clenched my fist. I forgot all about his counter break. I couldn't let me guard down. I took another deep breath. 

I switched to left attack mode. B/N let's do this thing!

"Second battle! Ready? And set!" 

"3, 2, 1, let it rip!" 

We launched for the second time. Crimson Spryzen took the center once again, just as I thought. 

"B/N! Let's hit it with all we've got, B/N launch!"

We crashed into Spryzen once again. This time though, I didn't let him set up for a counter-break. Over and over B/N hit Spryzen. We had this in the bag.

"Spryzen, upper launch!" the red bey suddenly came out with a burst of speed, dodging my attack and winding up for a counter.

"Get out of the way B/N!" we barely dodged it crashing into the railing. "B/N! Go B/N whip!"

It crashed into Spryzen knocking it out of the ring.

1-1

The third battle was just as ferocious. There were sparks everywhere. The clash was intense. B/N and I were hanging in there, but Spryzen just kept coming.

"Let's end this all now Spryzen! Crimson whip!"

"Dodge it B/N!" It didn't...

B/N was knocked out of the arena, luckily it didn't burst. I let out a sigh of relief. We had one more chance.

"Hey Valt's girlfriend! Use it now!" a voice called out in the stands.

Lui.

But it wasn't ready yet, the move wasn't ready. 

"If you're thinking that it's not ready, use it anyways! If you don't use it, you might as well pack it up. Just try!"

"Okay." We were going to give it all we had. In this very launch.

Valt's POV

I am going to kill Lui! I dashed over to where he was.

"What's up Aoi?"

"WHY WOULD YOU SCREAM THAT OUT LOUD?!" 

"She's your girlfriend is she not?"

"NO!"

"So she is your girlfriend?"

"NO!"

"Well she definitely likes you." 

"Never mind that!" I groaned, "What move are you talking about?"

"Just watch." he grinned.

"Ready? And set!" 

"3,"

My eyes widened. There's no way!

"2,"

She was doing, the move!

"1," 

Lui Shirosagi's nightmare boost...

"Let it rip!" 

The crowd went wild, it landed! 

"You taught her that?!" I said stunned.

"I mean she is your girlfriend Aoi." he shrugged.

"First of all-" 

He held up his hand, "Just watch."

It was clear that with the nightmare boost that caught everyone of guard, including Shu, B/N was able to overpower Spryzen.

And after a few more clashes, Spryzen bursted, 3-1 Y/N wins.

She really did it.

It was the evening after her victory. It was just her and I sitting in the bey park. The sun was starting to set.

"You know, this is where it all began." I said to her.

"What began?"

"This same arena was where I had my first battle." I grinned.

"Really?"

"Yep, Shu's first battle was here too."

"Wow! To think the legendary bladers battled here!"

"It wasn't just Shu and I, it was the friends we made as well. Honcho, Daigo, Ken, Wakiya, we were all a family. The bey club." I smiled.

"Where are they now?" 

I sighed, "I honestly don't know, I heard Honcho is traveling, Daigo is still in France, Ken has moved once again, and Wakiya is probably on an island right now."

"Do you think you'll ever see them again?"

"Of course I will, we've been through so much together."

"Hey Valt, what are you going to do after this tournament?"

"What do you mean? I'm going to win of course!"

"But what if... what if you don't win?"

"Well that's not going to happen, but I'd say I'd go back to BC Sol to teach again. Then maybe look for my friends. What about you?"

"I... I honestly don't know." she sighed.

"Hey Y/N?" I asked the million dollar question.

"If I win this tournament and the world championship, will you go out with me?"

Too soon? Maybe. But then again when should I have asked?

"Sure why not." she grinned.

Okay now I was all fired up. I was star struck, confused, and very very happy.

"Alright... now if you'll excuse me, I need to go beat Aiger."
