"Welcome boys and girls! Today we have possibly two matches for you! Three bladers remain in contention for the Block B spot! Aiger Akabane, Lui Shirosagi, and Y/N L/N! 

For Lui to clinch his spot he needs to beat Aiger! But if he loses he will have to face Y/N for the final spot in Block B!" the announcer said as Valt, Toko, Nika, and I walked into the stadium.

I took a deep breath, calm down... There wasn't anything to worry about, Aiger was the world champion. He wouldn't lose that easily, but Lui isn't easy...

"Are you alright?" Valt asked concerned.

"I'm fine." I assured him, "No sweat. Aiger better win."

"Don't worry... he won't lose to anyone but me!" he grinned.

That grin is what makes my heart beat fast. The constant positivity, the never give up attitude. It brings a whole new meaning to blading.

The two bladers came out at that time. The atmosphere was intense, there was no more joking or laughing. This was serious business. Aiger and Lui seemed to be confident, but cautious. Neither of them letting their guard down for even a split second.

"Ready, and set!"

"3, 2, 1, let it rip!" The beys launched into the stadium. 

"Tear it apart Luinor!" Lui called as the left-rotating dragon zoomed towards Achilles.

"Knock it right back! Unison Shield!" Achilles glowed as a shield started to surround the bey. 

Luinor's attack was blocked by the shield. However it didn't waste any time setting up for another blow.

"That shield won't work forever!" Lui growled, "Luinor! Zone Hammer!" 

The dragon took off at incredible speed and crashed into Aiger's bey. The shield broke just then, "Now hit him with Zone Slam!" 

Luinor knocked Achilles high in the air, the entire arena held their breath wondering if it would be a burst or not. 

"Zone Luinor with a ring out finish! The score is 1-0!" 

The crowd roared as Aiger fell behind. I sighed, maybe Lui was going to win.

"Don't worry," Valt stretched, "Did you notice Aiger didn't even attack that round? You see the look on Lui's face? It's not a look of confidence, it's a look of anger."

"But why? Didn't he win?" I asked.

Valt nodded, "But he was counting on Achilles to burst, now Aiger knows exactly how much power Luinor has. Watch this, Aiger's going to go in for the win right here."

"Second battle! Ready! And set!"

"3,2,1, let it rip!" 

"Achilles it's time to show them all why you're the best! Now go! Unison Breaker!"

"Don't give it a single edge Luinor! Push it back! Zone Slam!" 

The clash between the beys was intense. Both not giving up. 

"END IT!" they both called. 

"Zone Hammer!" 

"Unison Whip!" 

Although both beys had entered their hyperflux stage, Achilles seemed to glow brighter than Luinor. And if you closed your eyes you would miss the burst finish for Achilles!

"Union Achilles! Burst finish! Aiger Akabane wins by a score of 2-1!" the crowd cheered and I let out a sigh of relief. I managed to live another day. 

"What an incredible battle ladies and gentlemen! Be sure to stick around as after this break it'll be Y/N L/N vs Lui Shirosagi to see who is B block's runner up!"

I stood up confidently, "We're gonna win!"

Valt's POV

Mom packed beybread for me and my siblings. Y/N had already gone down to the waiting room. She was really pumped up for this. I saw the special training that she had put in, B/N's power had gotten really strong.

I've really enjoyed the time that Y/N and I have spent bonding over beyblades. I dreamed happily of me winning the championship and Y/N cheering me on.

"Valt stop dreaming about Y/N!" Nika sighed. "You're acting creepy."

"I wasn't dreaming about her!" I lied.

"You should do a better job of lying, you know make it a little more convincing." Toko grinned.

"So when are you going to ask her out?" 

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Ooh! Do it after you win the tournament!" Toko cheered.

"It'll be incredible after you win the title and you ask her out on that very same spot!" Nika nodded.

I'm not going to tell them that that is exactly what I was dreaming about...

The battle was about to begin so we all headed back to our seats. Y/N seemed to have a sort of trick up her sleeve. Lui looked like he was going for the finish right away.

"3, 2, 1! let it rip!" 

Just as I suspected Lui charged right in with a barrage of blows. Luckily Y/N chose B/N to be in counter-clockwise stamina. 

"You can do it Y/N!" I called.

Y/N sat there cool under pressure, Lui brought the heat and applied more and more attacks.

B/N's newly found defense stood firm and was able to get the survivor finish! Unfortunately in round two that defense wasn't able to stop Zone Hammer from getting the ring out finish. 

The score was now 1-1. This was going to be the final battle. At least... I thought it was, there was like ten ties...

The crowd was really into it, but I was starting to get worried, Y/N was getting tired. Lui seemed alright when it came to the stamina game.

In the fifteenth battle of their match, Y/N had a confident look on her face. 

"What is she going to do?" Nika asked.

"I don't know..." I replied.

She got into a different stance, one that I saw about four years ago. The same stance that bursted Luinor in one blow.

Shu Kurenai's Crux Boost.

"3, 2, 1, let it rip!" 

She launched it perfectly. It took off into the stadium at incredible speed, Lui was absolutely stunned and caught off guard as B/N quickly slammed into Luinor.

Just like in the battle with Shu, Luinor bursted, and it was all over.

The crowd went wild as Lui stood there in shock.

"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" the crowd chanted.

"There you have it ladies and gentlemen! With a score of 3-1 Y/N moves on!" 

She grinned and pointed right at me. "You're next!" she called out.

"Try to make it to the finals." I responded grinnning.

"It's time to announce the match-ups of the Semi-finals! In the first match we have Y/N vs Shu! Which mean the second match is... Valt vs Aiger!"

My eyes widened. It was time Valtryek. We were going to win. And meet Y/N in the finals. No matter what!
