Chapter 9 - Plasma and Vanish |Part Two|

She really hated these two. They reminded her of the time Axel blocked her exit out of a cave. She actually had to rely on the much-needed help of her brother and the dragons to get her out.

Leyla needed a plan to escape these two and get to Luna so they could head to the forge and get the Belzium Hannahr had asked for.

"I have this really important thing I need to do..so yeah, bye!" Leyla made a run for it and her small body shape was making it much easier for her to get away from the two weird Vikings with stupid names.

(Flashback, unknown years ago)

The daughter of Plasma and Vanish was flying stealthily in the night sky; her white scales turned jet black during nighttime to camouflage in the sky better. She made a move to land on the soil of her home but what she saw was shocking. Thousands of furies were laying on the floor of the big cave they all had called home, dead.

"Princess Luna?" she turned her head and took quick notice of a giant four winged dragon staring at her with big yellow eyes.

"They're dead. Every one of them. Why?" she mumbled.

"I simply do not know, Luna. But, I was given direct orders by Plasma to find you and your brother and keep watch of the both of you." the four winged dragon bowed his head lightly.

Luna waved her paw. "Please do not bow. I'm merely a princess without a home." she said.

"Here's where I persuade something; I have a home with a king Bewilderbeast protecting it. I'm sure he'd love to have you apart of our nest." the dragon told her.

"That sounds like a good idea, thank you Cloudjumper." she smiled at him.

"Anytime, Princess." he responded.

He lifted the smaller dragon and placed her gently on his back, making sure she had a decent grip on him before he took off into the sky.

(Present day)

Leyla ran as fast as her legs could carry her small, frail body. She managed to lose the two certain Vikings that struggled to find her as she jumped over a downed tree. 'Probably from Luna.' she thought.

"Luna?!" she called out to Astrid's tamed Light Fury.

The sleek gorgeous white dragon appeared out of nowhere, a trait she had gained from her mother; who was famous for doing that trick on her dad.

"You called?" she asked.

"I was being followed by two Vikings around Astrid's age it looks." Leyla said. "They kept following me until I managed to slip away." she rolled her green eyes.

"Did they give you any names?" Luna asked, padding over to Leyla and resting beside the young female Viking.

"I think they're names are Snotty face and Fish goo." Leyla replied.

"Snotlout and Fishlegs, you mean?" Luna questioned.

Leyla nodded. "That actually sounds about right." she grinned.

"Hmm, Snotlout I understand but Fishlegs?" Luna muttered.

She had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Fishlegs and Snotlout when she dive bombed the arena they were training in. She shivered ever so lightly as she recalled the feeling of chains on her back and the sickening muzzle around her jaw.

"He gets excited at new dragon species." the Light Fury stated.

"Really? Wow." Leyla smirked. "He sounds like me." she giggled softly.

"Yeah, he does." Luna scoffed before laughed loudly.

(Flashback, years ago)

The only daughter of the King and Queen of the Hidden World was snoring quite loudly from the back of Cloudjumper. He simply ignored her loud snores and continued flapping his wings to his home. The four winged dragon had been flying for several hours and when he saw the ice spikes in the distance, he smiled. He was almost home.

He glided towards the ice spikes and down a spirally hole that lead to the heart of the Northern Nest; what every dragon called the icey home. Cloudjumper landed swiftly in front of his rider, a woman around the age of 30 or so and with emerald eyes and long auburn hair that cascaded down her back in three braids.

"Cloudjumper, who's this?" she asked.

The woman pointed to the Light Fury princess on her dragon's back. Cloudjumper swiveled his head and lightly grabbed the small Fury and set her on the ground in front of him.

"My king, I'd like you to meet—" Cloudjumper turned around to face his king; a giant white Bewilderbeast, an extraordinarily rare dragon that as an egg was given to Cloudjumper's rider by another woman.

"Luna, princess of the Hidden World and the daughter of King Plasma and Queen Vanish. Yes I know her." the great king stated.

"Icestorm, if I could, may I take a look at her?" the Bewilderbeast eyed Cloudjumper's rider with a look of hesitation.

He favored her, he truly did. In fact, he was grateful that she had been the one to raise him from an egg to the graceful king he now was. He nodded his head with a grin as his sudden facial expression.

"Very well. Valka. You may find interesting things about Princess Luna." he stated.

He kept a watchful eye over the young dragon princess as Valka strolled over to her. Cloudjumper watched from his spot up on the cliff, ready to jump down should Valka or Luna need him.

"She's gorgeous. Oh and look, she's got retractable teeth!" Valka laughed.

"She does?" Cloudjumper blurted out. "How?" he added, confused.

"She's the daughter of a Night Fury and a Light Fury." Icestorm stated. "That would make some sense into her abilities." he smiled at Luna.

Luna smiled back at him with her signature toothless grin.

"Just like Vanish and Plasma." Icestorm whispered.

(Present day)

"Shouldn't we find the ore that Gobber wants us to find?" Snotlout asked.

After Astrid's disappearance, the teens had all gotten somewhat smarter; with Hiccup becoming the most reckless one now. He often took Toothless and would search endless hours to find Astrid, most times having zero luck.

"What was it called again?" Ruffnut said and scratched her head.

"Uh, Bessie?" Tuffnut replied.

"Oh yeah! Let us go find Bessie!" Ruffnut shouted.

She ran ahead of her twin, who followed after her. Fishlegs, Snotlout, and Hiccup all stayed behind just groaning.

"And I thought Princess Outpost Hiccup was reckless." Snotlout laughed as he ran after the twins.

"I do not act like that!" Hiccup yelled. "Ugh." he groaned as Fishlegs stood there, doing absolutely nothing.

Hiccup turned around to face the chubby Viking. "Fishlegs?" he asked.

"You and Toothless have been doing search after search and still no sign of Astrid. That got me thinking, what if she's out there dead?!" he whined.

Fishlegs was one to be sentimental but rarely showed it and he never had a crush on Astrid, he just liked her as a friend. Hiccup, on the other hand, had a massive crush on the blonde as did Snotlout but alas she hated Snotlout, always did and probably always will.

"One day, we'll find her. I can grantee that 'Legs." Hiccup told his friend.

"Okay." Fishlegs said.

(With Leyla)

Leyla had somehow managed to close her eyes for a good three hours and with the sun setting, she knew she had to get home.

"Luna? You awake?" she asked the sleeping Light Fury beside her.

"Mm, yeah. What is it?" she spoke groggily.

"We should head back home or at least find an island to stay on until we get the Belzium Hannahr wants." Leyla said.

"Good plan. Got an ideas as to what island?" Luna asked her.

Leyla shook her head. "Nope. I was thinking we do a Dak move and just fly around until we find one." she shrugged her shoulders.

"Like that has so worked before." Luna spoke sarcastically.

She had gotten to know the twins rather well from their dragons; mostly Winger and Summer. So, she laughed mentally at the thought of Leyla mentioning making a Dak move. That, according to Summer, would be something Leyla would never do.

"Who told you that?" Leyla said.

"Winger and Summer." Luna causally replied.

"Of course." Leyla laughed. "Now, let's go find that island!" she said as she hopped into Luna's white saddle.

Leyla grabbed hold of the handles and let Luna do the rest. Within a matter of seconds, they were in the sky. However, unbeknownst to them, someone was following them...someone Luna knows.

A/N: Due to the lack of inspiration, this chapter was "winged".
