~Astrid's POV~

~2 Months Later~ (Soz for the time jump)

It was your typical Saturday afternoon in the Haddock household and I was having chicken for lunch, Ellie's favourite while I was cleaning up dishes. Ruffnut came to my house while I was having Lunch with her kids Mia and Miles, Ellie's best friends.

"Hi Astrid, how's things going without Hiccup?" Ruff asks

"Honestly, I just want him back with me in my arms" I say then I burst into tears

"Oh Astrid it's ok, he'll be back before you know it" Ruffnut says trying to confort me

"Well...we can only hope" I say then Fishlegs comes running into the house all puffed

"A...Astrid come outside there's something you may want to see" says Fishlegs then runs outside. Ruffnut and I rush outside and the whole village is outside. When I look up is that... no I...it couldn't be. Hiccup and Toothless were coming down from the sky to Berk. As soon as Toothless lands on the ground I run to Hiccup and he catches and hugs me.

"I...I missed you so much" I say hugging Hiccup

"I missed you so much" says Hiccup

(Hiccup's POV)

It felt so good to hug Astrid again, her hugs felt so warm and I feel like I could hug her for the rest of my life

"Astrid, is it just me or does it feel like we've forgotten something?" I ask Astrid

"I'll go get her, I'll be right back" Astrid says. When Astrid comes back she's with my baby girl and oh my she's grown so much. She's starting to get hair like her mum but her eyes, she has my eyes

"Ellie has something she would like to show you" Astrid says to me and I nodd Astrid puts Ellie on the ground and she is walking. Suddenly I light up as I see her walking towards me then she trips forward and I whisper In her ear

"It's ok, it's ok, it's ok to trip because Daddy's going to pick you back up and protect you in everyway" I whisper

Here we were, the Haddocks as one big happy family
